Hello Robocrafters! Today we’re revealing a brand new feature to Robocraft. Emotigrams!

What are Emotigrams?!
They are a digital transmission which is conveyed via methods of iconography. When they say “A picture tells a thousand words” we’re pretty sure they were talking specifically about Emotigram technology.

Emotigrams can be used in battle to communicate with fellow teammates and even the enemy. They could be used to show your love of another players robot



Or they can be used to comment on another players shortcomings!



Several of these emotigrams are unlockable via RoboPass Plus and a couple will be available immediately as standard for all players.

How do we use the Emotigrams?
Emotigrams can be selected by clicking your avatar and selecting Emotigrams from the drop down window. This will open the Emotigram window where you'll be able to select up to six Emotigrams to use in battle.



Once in game hold V and you'll be bring up the Emotigram wheel. Hovering over one of these and letting go of V will then play that Emotigram.



The thumbs up and thumbs down Emotigrams will be automatically added to the Emotigram wheel of all players in tomorrows build. Other Emotigrams will be unlocked via RoboPass Season 2.

Planned maintenence
At 10:00AM UTC on 28th of March 2019, there will be scheduled maintenance to prepare Robocraft for the incoming update. This will last approximately two hours and a full patch note list will be released once the build has gone live.

Hello folks,
Sorry for the long silence.
I spend the last few months bringing MACE to XBox One and Nintendo Switch.
Now that this is finished, there is also a new update for the PC version!

New in this version:
- MACE has been updated to the latest version of our GameEngine, which should fix some bugs on some devices.

If your hardware still has problems starting MACE, please drop me a mail to mail@entwickler-x.de
and attach the log file from your SaveGame folder (%UserProfile%\Saved Games\MACE) if available.

- Alt+Return support to switch between sindow and full screen mode.
- Enemy movement is now much smoother due to better interpolation between formation points.
- Support of DInput devices, if they don't support XInput, e.g. finally the Speedlink Competition Pro USB works now yeah :D

Howdy fellow farmers! Update 1 is finally here! Completing the Pageant Chart!
There are not only more than double pageants to participate in but the whole pageant system has been revamped:

-Difficulty curve has been adjusted, difficult to win pageants are now actually difficult to win.
-Competitor algorithm and rating system have been improved.
-Pageant ratings can stack well over 10 points.
-Minor bug corrections.
-Minor optimization.

Hey, Survivors!


Got a fresh batch of fixes for you, this time mostly focusing on game’s look and online play optimization.

The full list of fixes is included below:

  • Issue, in which some players were not able to enter the Hatch in the Tutorial - fixed.
  • Optimization fixes - most of the framerate drops during online play should disappear now.
  • In some cases, quest notifications for the “Scotty Doesn’t Know” did not appear - fixed.
  • Issue, in which players could not come back to the “The Door” quest location after dying on that location - fixed.
  • Visual fixes and flourishing - the game looks more polished, with night-time looking especially more crisp!
  • Issue, in which another player would get stuck in a loading screen if he’s playing not the current version - fixed
  • Issue, in which a player was able to gather two resources at a time with one hit if the resource sources are close enough - fixed
  • Issue, in which “Days Survived” counter would reset after using the Fast Travel system - fixed.
  • Issue, in which creatures did not react to attacks from behind - fixed.
  • Issue, in which player not on the host’s Steam Friend list could join a Friends-only game through the Recent Servers menu - fixed.
  • Issue, in which the Radio Station on Hydra-1 did not reveal the tiles around it - fixed.

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve added support for TWO more games. HOORAY! The first is the blissful and oh-so-relaxing fishing game Catch & Release. The second is the strategy/tower defense game PlanTechtor.

Since we added support for Mosh Pit Simulator last week, we now have a ton of wonderfully bizarre recordings available for you to watch.

Known Major Issues:
  • Players with lower spec computers may encounter a graphical issue with blocks just appearing black.
    • We are currently working on a fix for this issue for the next TT Unstable update following this one.
  • If you have a large number of snapshots (e.g. 300), the initial load of this update may take slightly longer than usual.
    • All subsequent load times should be quicker.
  • Multiple resources travelling close to each other along Conveyors may generate bottlenecks and clog bases up, especially around Refineries and Filters.
  • Translations for non-English language support is work-in-progress for most languages.

Hey all.

The AIR branch has been promoted to be the default branch. I haven't noticed any major issues with it myself, and haven't received any reports that would stand in the way of promoting it.

For changes compared to the Flash version, see the above link. There are no new functionality changes today, as this is basically just swapping the builds around to get more people using the (what I now believe to be superior) AIR packaging.

If you still want to use the Flash packaging, you can opt-in to the new Flash branch
via [Steam Library > MaD2 > Properties > Betas].

With the AIR packaging workshop support is looking not only possible, but promising, but it's still going to need work before I can bring in testers.

All in all, the branches now are as follows, in order of recommendation:

Edit:

Looks like the AIR save directory is different from the Flash one, you should be able to move your save files between the two as follows:

1) Copy all .sol files from the Flash folder:
%appdata%/Macromedia/Flash Player/#SharedObjects/ --> <Some kind of ID>/localhost/#orava/mutilate

2) Launch the AIR version and change any setting to ensure the save folder is created.

3) Paste the copied files into the AIR folder:
%appdata%/games.rava.mutilate/LocalStore/#SharedObjects/#Orava/Mutilate

We are glad to announce that our Tournament mode went successful through a previous round of tests and we decided to put it on the regular schedule. We think it is a great addition to our basic Deathmatch mode where you compete with other Assassins.

We’ve been working on that for quite a long time and we can say that we are happy about its current state. We would like to thanks to all of you who were participated in our previous Beta Testing, your presence helped us a lot!



The schedule of the regularly planned tournament events are:

Every Friday/Saturday/Sunday:

Europe - 5 p.m. UTC
USA - 11 p.m UTC
Asia - 9 a.m. UTC



You can find these regions in the game lobby. In a specific region, there is a tournament tab. Soon before the established time, the join button becomes visible allowing players to enroll a Tournament. The gathering begins and players are joining the server.



A match begins with dividing Players into groups. When it starts, they play PvP deathmatch game on the Old Ruins Garden map competing with other Assassins. The game match is 7 minutes long. The best Players (based on their K/D) are qualified into the next rounds until they enroll into the final. Here, in the crucial match the winners are found and granted with the title of the best Elven Assassin. You can find them in the current leaderboard with their latest scores.



There will be many chances for anyone to participate in the Tournaments, we cannot wait to see you in the battlegrounds!
