First of all, we want to say that we’re sorry for our radio silence lately. We’ve been putting all of our energy in the past several weeks into improving Hunt’s performance. We all want new content, but we have agreed that until the game is performing so as to provide the majority of players with a fun and consistent experience, we will be prioritizing performance optimization.
We want to provide a smoother experience for all players, and we are currently focused on ensuring we meet or exceed the performance we had during 3.0. We have identified a number of issues that could cause frame drops or stalls, most notably an issue that can cause drops when players are moving around/approaching compounds. We have been focused on CPU mostly and are testing solutions to get these fixes out to you via patches asap.
The first of these patches will return users to the levels of performance we had achieved pre-4.0, and after that we will release a larger update with further optimizations to the game as a whole.
At the same time, we are making some changes to our Roadmap, including how often we deploy new content and patches in general. Though we can’t reveal those details yet, the key point here is this: we will be focusing 100% on performance for the foreseeable future. The entire team—across all disciplines—will be focusing on this.
There will be more announcements soon, the next likely to be when we are finished reworking our Roadmap to reflect these internal changes and can share it with you.
Improving performance is an ongoing process, and we will continue to share as much information, as quickly as we can. Watch this space for updates, and thanks for being a part of the Hunt journey.
We've got another hotfix patch for you tonight with more improvements to performance (especially server side), fixing items that could have been recolorable but weren't and fixing the third person camera to stop players peeking inside bases with strange camera angles.
We've also fixed a MacOSX networking issue that was preventing clients from connecting to servers. Please note we still need to fix some shader compilation issues on some Mac setups that cause the server connection to time out on the first try, make sure to try joining a server more than once if you are having problems!
As always the 'oldversion' beta branch is pointing at the previous version (0.7.0.5) so you can continue to play on community servers before they update.
Changelog
Fixed an issue with MacOSX version not being able to connect to servers
World item generation refactored and performance improved (should help with item falling through world issues)
Mozzy chassis can now be recolored and will accept Mozzy paint masks
Improvised bow can now be recolored
Improved camera near clipping plane collision detection (fixes being able to peek into bases by placing your camera at strange angles in third person perspective)
Fixed race condition in server interaction blast casts
Reduced memory allocations resulting in more consistent performance
Here comes another update/patch to fix recent issue and the game wll be 25% OFF for a week. I'm working a lot on the arcade mode and I can't show that right now as it is still a work in progress.
Here is just a part of the boss's stage, I don't want to show too much.
But I do have a lot of other things that made the game more enjoyable available with this new update :
Update patch 8.8 notes :
- Fixed some crashes happening in the selection screen - Disabled keyboard debuging keys (sorry about that one) - Added resolutions to the fullscreen options, this can improve performance drastically for high resolution monitors. - Changed the way clang/small clashes works, now the speed of the character influence who is gonna win a clang (finish his stun before the other), the more speed the better - Added a timer online, it's set at 7 minutes. - Made some attacks unparryable, powerfull attack and smash down are concerned - Fixed Jin glitch on one attack - Fixed the animation on slopes. - Fixed the maximum number of players possible to 8, before it would just crash. - Added more details and fixed camera on the stage MOONLIGHT TEMPLE - All adjustement for characters attacks can be seen here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1q1ZrSRavvCO0dzqMWHxZanbL0v38wJsjTxJlEd9Bjlg/edit - Fixed the wrong knocback on neutral tile, and decreased knockback globally for tiles. - Improved preventing attack cross up. - Shield grab wont create parry anymore. - if a grab on floor is failed, the player start a recovery slide animation and can't control the player right away. - An attempt to grab from a shield disable the use of parry for 2 seconds. No more lucky parry. - improved overall knockback to scale better. - added online key F7 to decrease the frame delay by 1 and F8 to increase the frame delay by 1. (depending of your connection stability, you can remove or add frame delay to improve the connection, if you face too much locked frame -> increase the delay, if the connectin is really good -> you can try decreasing the delay)
Survarium Patch 0.56c1 is now available! Launch Survarium to download and install the patch. Read the complete list of changes below. See you in the game!
The List of Changes in Survarium 0.56c1 General Changes

Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue causing weapons to inflict more damage than intended.
LWRC SMG-45, HK G28 and FN FAL DSA-58 hit the store till the 29th of January.
LWRC SMG-45 and HK G28 are available via Random Kredit and Crown Boxes, while FN FAL DSA-58 can be found exclusively in Random Kredit Boxes.
LWRC SMG-45
In terms of combat specs, LWRC SMG-45 is a hulkier version of the UMP. It can dish out the highest damage of all Engineer primaries and is capable of killing with a single shot to the head. To offset this strength, we’ve given it a lower rate of fire, harsher recoil and restricted its effective range. SMG-45 also comes with two unique attachments:
Landing killing blows with LWRC SMG-45 will unlock custom achievements.
HK G28
When it comes to combat stats, HK G28 is a totally different breed. The rifle allows its user to be effective at any range, as its unique collimator sight accommodates for medium to close range encounters. Alongside versatility, G28 excels in delivering substantial damage — two shots will be enough to take any target down, while a single headshot will be lethal. To add spice to the mix, this German DMR’s not too needy on recoil and boasts a competitive rate of fire, while the Golden version grants an even greater rate of fire and an increased magazine capacity.
Let’s take a look at the broad selection of attachments available for this rifle:
Schmidt Bender 3 4.5x fast zoom scope
Vector Optics Maverick 2.5x zoom collimator sight
HK G28 suppressor: reduces noise, conceals shooter’s location at the cost of reduced damage
HK G28 flashguard: removes muzzle flash, reduces damage drop and recoil
Vertical HK grip: reduces rifle sway while standing, increases weapon selection/deselection speed, increases reload speed
Master this rifle and land killing blows to unlock its special achievements!
FN FAL DSA-58
The FN FAL comes equipped with a unique tactical grip, DSA-58. This is a considerable improvement in terms of handling the weapon, drastically increasing the accuracy when fired from the hip. Custom high-powered munitions allow it to deal increase damage to arms and legs in the game, as well as granting it improved damage at greater distances.
Use this weapon wisely! The laser module allows for easier targeting, though the red beam will definitely stand out in poorly-lit environment. It’s important to note that the beam does not blind your target, even when pointed directly at them.
FN FAL’s high damage and range values challenge the usual limitations of the class, which makes it a favourable choice for PvP. Extra range translates into extra seconds to take down classes that need to close in on you, and while facing snipers you’ll be able to win these very few seconds for yourself.
