Today's the day! We're very excited to announce the 1.3 update for Youtubers Life, the biggest one to date since the game launched back in May 2016.

A huge thank you to all our fans who've helped these past two weeks by trying the open beta and reporting any issue you've found. It's been a great test.

Patch Notes:
  • New user interface, featuring clearer notifications and new need bars.
  • Gamepad compatibility. Finally! Play lying on the couch :P
  • Fan desires: Interact on social networks in a meaningful way with your fans.
  • Revamped GUI for the card game. New card designs.
  • New quest system: Clear markings on prize and quest-giving NPC. New quest tracker.
  • Revamped visual effects.
  • General performance improvement.

MEMORIES OF MARS - Memories of Mars
Good morning Martians!

Xmas will soon be upon us and along our usual bug fixing and game tweaking, we've also prepared some events that will trigger during Xmas. When? Well, we're not going to spoil the surprise for you but if you want a tip you can look at the ice area in the East during the festive period...



Patch will go live around 12:00 GMT / 13:00 CET today (11/12/2018)

On with the changelog:


ADDITIONS
The following has been newly added to the game.

• Introduced duel action system.
o Some actions now have a hold function added to the key-binding.
o For example if you hold the Reload key (default R) it will now switch the ammo type of the weapon you have out, if another ammo type is available.
o If you hold Alt-fire while your weapon has a gadget attached (Tac-Light for example) you will perform the function of the gadget (turn the light on/off). A quick tap of the same key-binding will use the Melee function instead.
o This is just Phase 1 of the interaction system change. In the following weeks/months we will be increase the visual feedback of the HUD to better show what actions you can and can’t do and what is bound to what.
o You will not be able to un-bind the hold function yet. Something we will look to separate later.
• Added Sprint toggle functionality. No more needing to hold the sprint key down.

FIXES
The following has been fixed.

• Preview of deployable meshes.
• Melee attack animation being faster than the damage applied.
• Private servers not detecting that they are private servers.
• Various collision of different assets.
• Player alliance names not working.
• Overall performance.

CHANGES
The following has been adjusted or changed.

• Meteor loot has been increased. This is phase 1 of our ‘upgrade loot from the sky’.
• Demolition charge Min and Max damage radius has been reduced. They will act more like a targeted demolition than a large AoE demolition.
o As a side effect this change increases the costs of the attacker if they decide for total base destruction, whilst benefiting those who just want to break in, loot and leave.
• Drone changes:
o Significant Health increase.
o Reduced the leash range.
o Decreased overall amount of drones on the map.
o Activated all drones to be aggressive, from their previously passive approach. They will now Kill on Sight.
o Drone loot has significantly increase to adjust for less over all drones.
• Increase to Flops gained from Supply tracker loot.
• Players are now able to bind the TAB key and use it for Inventory or other UI elements.
o We disabled the UE4 default engine behaviour for this to come into effect.


Known issues
These are issues found in testing that we are aware of and will be fixed in subsequent patches.

• Whilst reviving another player, players would become stuck if they also typed in chat at the same time as using the healing item.
o Logging out and in again resolves the issue as a work around.
• It is possible for players to crash their client if they attempt to put Flops into a research centre.
o Doesn’t always crash and there isn’t any reason a player should need to do this.

·少林派:以禅入武,少林派武学以「佛学」为根基,「佛学」书籍的心得等级能够补充所有同级别的少林派功法的心法等级,修习者的处世立场将决定所补齐的心法等级为正、为逆或为冲解。
·峨眉派:真传正法,峨眉派武学遵循正传真法,研读正练峨眉派秘籍的成功率加倍,实战增加的秘籍领悟进度加倍,否则,均减半。
·百花谷:医武同源,百花谷武学以「医术」为根基,「医术」书籍的心得等级能够补充所有同级别的百花谷功法的心法等级,修习者的处世立场将决定所补齐的心法等级为正、为逆或为冲解。
·武当派:道法自然,武当派武学以「道法」为根基,「道法」书籍的心得等级能够补充所有同级别的武当派功法的心法等级,修习者的处世立场将决定所补齐的心法等级为正、为逆或为冲解。
·元山派:正大光明,元山派武学正大光明,若修习者的处世立场为刚正或仁善,研读元山派功法秘籍的成功率加倍,实战增加的秘籍领悟进度加倍,否则,均减半。
·狮相门:蛮修横练,狮相门武学不擅文字记录,以研读的方式修习狮相门功法时,秘籍的研读成功率减半;以实战的方式修习狮相门功法时,秘籍的领悟进度加倍。
·然山派:字字玄玄,然山派武学口诀咒令繁多,以研读的方式修习然山派功法时,秘籍的研读成功率加倍;以实战的方式修习然山派功法时,秘籍的领悟进度减半。
·璇女派:仙姿玉色,璇女派以女子为尊,女子以研读的方式修习璇女派功法时,秘籍的研读成功率加倍;以实战的方式修习璇女派功法时,秘籍的领悟进度加倍。若修习者为男子,均减半。
·铸剑山庄:巧夺天工,铸剑山庄武学以兵器优劣为根基,根据修习者所装备的兵器的品质之和,能够补充一定级别范围内的铸剑山庄功法的心法等级,修习者的处世立场将决定所补齐的心法等级为正、为逆或为冲解。
·空桑派:先难后易,空桑派武学先难后易,越靠前的秘籍篇章研读成功率越低,实战增加的秘籍领悟进度越少;越靠后的秘籍篇章研读成功率越高,实战增加的秘籍领悟进度越多。
·金刚宗:明王秘咒,金刚宗以男子为尊,男子以研读的方式修习金刚宗功法时,秘籍的研读成功率加倍;以实战的方式修习金刚宗功法时,秘籍的领悟进度加倍。若修习者为女子,均减半。
·五仙教:毒蛊通魂,五仙教武学以「毒术」为根基,「毒术」书籍的心得等级能够补充所有同级别的五仙教功法的心法等级,修习者的处世立场将决定所补齐的心法等级为正、为逆或为冲解。
·界青门:另辟蹊径,界青门武学讲究另辟蹊径,研读逆练界青门秘籍的成功率加倍,实战增加的秘籍领悟进度加倍,否则,均减半。
·伏龙坛:先易后难,伏龙坛武学先易后难,越靠前的秘籍篇章研读成功率越高,实战增加的秘籍领悟进度越多;越靠后的秘籍篇章研读成功率越低,实战增加的秘籍领悟进度越少。
·血犼教:邪诡恶毒,血犼教武学邪诡恶毒,若修习者的处世立场为唯我或叛逆,研读血犼教功法秘籍的成功率加倍,实战增加的秘籍领悟进度加倍,否则,均减半。

·新的心法冲解特殊效果:
·当功法的正练心法数等于功法的逆练心法数时,功法会失去正练或逆练的特殊效果并形成一个新的功法特殊效果“心法冲解”
·功法特殊效果“心法冲解”:正练心法与逆练心法相互抵消,但同时以双倍正练心法的效果提高功法的发挥效率上限;以双倍逆练心法的效果减少功法的使用需求

·功法的突破次数调整:
·九、八、七品功法需要在50%修习度时进行突破
·六、五品功法需要在30%、70%修习度时进行突破
·四、三品功法需要在25%、50%、75%修习度时进行突破
·二、一品功法需要在20%、40%、60%、80%修习度时进行突破
·由于突破次数的变化,对功法修习、突破所需消耗的历练进行了调整(低级功法的消耗大幅减少,高级功法的消耗有所增加)
·由于突破次数的变化,对功法在每次突破后的基础威力的提升幅度进行了调整(低级功法约有10%的降低,高级功法约有20%的提升)

·真气加成调整:
·真气增加的外伤、内伤上限增加
·原本2点真气增加一次毒素抵抗改为3点真气增加一次,增加量提高一倍

·其它调整:
·增加战斗中使用功法时,功法的修习度上升的机率
·略微增加敌我双方的同伴在战斗中进行攻击和抵挡伤害的间隔时间

·修复BUG:
·修复NPC不会主动使用解毒药的bug

关于测试分支[Test]
测试分支[Test]不同于默认的EA版本,会先于默认的EA版本更新,旨在尽可能减少BUG对默认EA版本分支的影响,待测试分支[Test]稳定之后,才会更新至默认的EA版本分支,想要参加测试分支[Test]的游玩,请见我之前“测试分支玩家招募”!感激不尽!
另外,需要注意的是,测试分支[test]与默认EA版本分支的存档是分离的,如果切换分支后发现存档不见或不同了,请勿惊慌,它们仍存在不同的存档文件夹中。

Bear With Me - Collector's Edition - The Reef King

Hey guys and gals,

just a quick update regarding the Steam Cards.

As of now the Collector's Edition cards and badges are up and running. Sorry it took so long but it should all work now, and you can finally earn your badges.

As for the Stand Alone episodes, we've made some changes and hopefully they should work as well. If not, there's not much to do about it at this point as the game was made free and as such isn't qualified for card drops.

Again, this was our fault and we'll continue trying to find a solution or a workaround for this.

If the CE cards are still not dropping or if you have any other issues, please let us now.

Hi everyone.

After several changes regarding the date of publishing of Second Chance, I have decided to release on January 7th 2019. It simply corresponds to the 8th month anniversary of the project.
