Alterations:
  • Contracts are now streamlined - taking a contract loads the cargo, and you now deliver the cargo from the destination station's contract terminal.
  • You can now move cargo from your tablet by dragging it from pod to pod, while docked at a station.
  • Added ability for players to engage in piracy by hailing merchants and threatening them.
  • Added ability for players to use their hack modules to find smugglers, and report them for a profit to authority ships.
  • Added ability for players to report possible pirates to authority vessels, who will investigate the area.
  • Added ability to begin with no fog obscuring any point in the map.
  • Added an estimate of time to next waypoint and to final destination on the top-left of the nav map.
  • Added 'skipintro=true' option to config files to go straight to main menu.
  • Removed 'Time Compression Cancelled' message when beginning docking procedures.

  • Fixed a bug where spinning up your jump drive or having your IFF off were not responded to by authority ships escorting you back to a base.
  • Fixed a bug where torpedos were not being saved sometimes in campaign mode.
  • Fixed a bug where clicking 'hail' on certain NPC ships would cause a crash.
  • Fixed a bug which could cause a crash while moving about in some derelicts.

Inspiration



The Heavy Counter Assault Rifle was introduced to the global market fairly recently, in 2013. Albeit innovative, it’s based upon the time-tested BAR M1918 light machine gun design. And you can tell it aged well — HCAR weighs less, customizes more, and keeps its .30-06 caliber! The 406-mm configuration is something otherworldly — it sports oval-shaped cavities that keep the barrel cool under intense fire, and comes with an AAC flash suppressor, adjustable 3-position gas regulator, hydraulic buffer and a Mil Spec telescopic stock.

IN WARFACE



The rifle is set to revolutionize gameplay in Warface, and is the first semi-automatic weapon for the Rifleman. Whether you’re a Rifleman ‘main’ looking to try something new, or a veteran Sniper looking for an easy transition, this is hands down your best pick.

HCAR deals double damage to body and limbs, sports considerably high damage — enough to knock most of them down. These great qualities are offset by recoil and a limited capacity, as the mag carries only 20 rounds.

The golden version brings an increased rate of fire and an expanded mag capacity.

Achievements

Landing killing blows with HCAR will provide you with special achievements that can be pinned on your profile.

Temple of Rust - James
Currently standing at the south-tip of Europe near Gibraltar. We are approaching the lowest energy levels for the solar collectors and the damp air is crawling into the mattress at night. Heres a little update on my status:

I work on Temple of Rust almost every day for 1-4 hours (depending on available power) and seriously enjoy doing that. The fast life that I try to leave behind still haunts me sometimes and I pressure myself to 'give it some more'.

When I changed both of my games to FREE I was also releasing a lot of pressure/hopes that I accumulated over the last (almost 20 Years) - since I started making fan/mod content for Quake 3 Arena in 1999. Making games was my 'career choice' since I could think about careers. Now I see that I was conditioned by my social environment and that I was trying to satisfy the images that others had imposed on me and that it had nothing to do with my initial drive. So I'm digging myself out of that position again - slowly.

Now I don't have any form of financial or social security, the bus is rusty and needs repairs. We're going to install a wood stove soon and I'm looking forward to that. These are a few things that need my attention at the moment. I try my best to make some money busking but even there I get illegally chased away sometimes because shop owners want to sell their products. But when I play guitar and sing on the street I at least feel much more in contact with life and that is important for me.

Anyway things won't be moving fast here but I won't and can't stop making games. It will stay a big part of me and I'll keep updating my stuff as long as I can!

American Truck Simulator - Timmy the Duck Thief
We are happy to release American Truck Simulator Update 1.33 out of open beta! Thanks to everyone who helped us verify the stability of the new features. We kept testing the ATS update a bit longer to make sure that there were no surprises with the new detours feature, and fortunately it looks like the reactions to it are all positive. We'll keep tweaking the feature in upcoming updates, and of course we owe it also to players of Euro Truck Simulator 2 - once we create the relevant new graphics content depicting the blocked roads.



As both our flagship sims are running on the same codebase, American Truck's update benefited from the extended Experimental and Open Beta programs we have tried ahead of Euro Truck 2's new update. We are very likely to repeat the process again for most of the upcoming updates.

Even when we are not currently in open beta, we'd like to invite you to provide your feedback, input, wishes, and critique on our forums. We keep monitoring the message boards pretty much every day. The old school forums often work better for a discussion thread taking place across several days or weeks, compared to the typical quick fire and forget exchanges on newer generation social media.
