To combat the harsh effects of the cold, our scientists have been experimenting with methods to create a short-term boost in resource production! Scans are showing that rare level 7-10 resource nodes are spawning all over the map for the next few days.
It looks like these high level resources will spawn until Monday December 10th at 7AM (UTC). Load up while you can, Commanders!
THIS PATCH HAS A BIG REWORK TO THE SAVE SYSTEM AND WILL INVALIDATE PREVIOUS SAVE GAMES!
General: -Added button in main menu to open changelog. -Villagers will now get other workspots if failing to find a path to one. -Changed loadingscreen at startup of game. -Remade save system, now has unlimited save slots and is more optimized. Also supports own name for save files. -Added confirmation prompt when overwriting savegames. -Temporarily disabled squad movement on patrol routes. -Moved some stone deposits in swamp map closer to start town. -Set help button to display control tutorial. -Healers no longer go to healers hut when low on HP, instead heals themselves when healing another. -Changed maximum workers in Herbal Garden to 2. -Added a lost piece of music to the playlist. -Added sounds to a bunch of buttons -Guardians should now try to get as close as possible to their party if they cant get to the exact spot. Their logic also resets when assigned to a task. -Production limits are now limited to 6 digits.
Bugs: -Fixed bug where guardians did not explore and villagers did not run away when under attack. -Achievements should now work correctly with steam. -Fixed map loading bug. -Fixed bug where guardians did not regenerate HP on missions. -Forward camps now save correctly. -Resource produced choice in buildings should now save correctly. -Placed flags should now save correctly. -Enabled snapping for wood outpost. -Villagers no correctly clears their previous duties as guardians when leaving job. -Building menu no longer opens if pressing an expansion button. -Fixed a bug where the game thought a new game was instead loaded. (Fixes all limits set to 0 bug and other weird stuff) -Season bar is now saved correctly.

Now, before we jump head first into playing, I have a few important things to tell both old and new players!
Important Note: 1. For those who have played the game before through lemmasoft or itch.io, some of your progress may be shown in the Steam version due to the persistent data files saved in your computer. You may find that the encyclopedia and CG gallery are pre-filled and your old save files may display. This can be solved by finding any old Nusantara files on your system and deleting them before installing the Steam version.
2. While Steam is still learning about this game, please be patient if there's an error or if the Achievement system is not working normally. It should unlock soon and if there's a problem, I will do my best to promptly fix it and post an update on the situation!
3. Winged Ones will hold a 20% off launch discount on Steam! Collected funds will be used for Nusantara: Bermuda Triangle's development. However, Winged Ones will stay true to its free-to-play nature, so I'll also update the game build on itch.io and send giveaway keys for long-time supporters and backers! Hi all, before upgrading the engine version we have prepared an update to fix some issues and to add some gameplay content. We will delay engine upgrade by a week or two.
Added a backpack like item to repair base parts, it consumes electricity and you can equip it to repair base parts or vehicles.
Fixed base part repair system and notification bugs
Removed destructible meshes for base part destruction. Each of these destructible meshes were about 200 mb and there are many parts. So we removed it to free some disk space to be used differently. We will find another solution for base part destruction. (Game size is now 10gb on disc)
Changed interface: For building a live mode
Added Enceladus map, open world, with geysers erupting and Saturn as moon visible at night
Made some changes to Mars, adding some erosion and fixing tessellation and texture issues.
We have also added many Lods for rovers and other static meshes that were very polygon heavy.
Extended inventory slots to 100 and weight also to 100 kg
