Hello all. As we alluded to in the previous Development Diary, we have been taking in feedback on the concerns with Golden Century and the 1.28 Spain Update.

Keen to do more than just talk about our intentions and future plans, we are also taking some steps to improve the players’ experience with EUIV and Golden Century. We have been reading lots of feedback, taking it on board and discussing what we can do for you in our upcoming update. As a result, we are making the following changes:

  • Treasure Fleet mechanics will be unlocked in Golden Century (Previously tied to only El Dorado)
  • All Privateering related mechanics will be unlocked in Golden Century
  • Transfer Occupation will be available to all players (previously tied to Art of War)
  • Increase Development feature will be available to all players (Previously tied to Common Sense)

The following changes are going to accompany 1.28, in a hotfix called 1.28.1 which will swiftly follow the Tuesday release. Again, we want to stress the importance of your thoughts and feelings, and do what we can to meet your expectations.

Long have players been requesting, in particular, that Development and Transfer Occupation features be a base game feature available and with the continued development of the game we agree that this is the right step forward. We have made lots of mechanics that interact with improving development in the years since it was first introduced, most notably with mechanics such as Ages and Institutions, and there are more ways this mechanic can be used to improve the game further which we want to open the doors for

And this is only the start, we will still be going forward with doing our planned dev diary on community suggestions and future road map of EU4.

SCAR-L PDW is a compact Engineer weapon, a modified – shortened – version of its older siblings: SCAR-L and SCAR-H.

This weapons packs quite a punch and will be available in regular and golden versions via direct sale till the 13th of December.

INSPIRATION



The PDW was designed as a modification to the SCAR-L assault rifle. While the latter along with its siblings within the SCAR family received broad use within the US SOCOM, the PDW became the primary companion of the helicopter, armor crews, as well as explosives specialists and engineers alike.

IN WARFACE



SCAR-L PDW is a champion of its era, designed to emphasize on the qualities associated with the class: deadliness in close quarters and high reload speed.

To start with, the PDW scores higher in damage than many assault rifles, and compared to other Engineer weapons – SMG’s and PDW’s – it’s not as heavily offset in effective range. Its accuracy is on point even when fired off the hip, let alone when aimed with a scope or down the sights. Ultimately, its damage additionally grants it improved penetration capabilities, that are even more efficient coupled with one of the available muzzle attachments.

Speaking of attachments, the PDW features a unique handle that improves the reload speed. Give it a try with a vest or gloves that improve the reload speed and you’ll never find a need to switch to a secondary – it’s just that fast.

Rodina is better than ever! This update is a massive reworking of interior generation, combat, and player movement. Things are starting to come together!



The dangerous new Xeno Trooper reflects your plasma shots with its Magnetic Shield.

The Xeno Interiors have seen a major overhaul - more enemies, turrets, exploding thermal gel, loot pickups, and more! It's even more fun to get around, as player movement is tighter and smoother!



This is a major update to the game. Combat feels WAY more fun now. If you haven't played in a while, now might be the time to pick the game up again!

Due to the great feedback for our first Catan Season, we are very excited to announce a series of competitive Seasons called "Catan - The Emperor’s Quest"!
So starting this December we are looking for the most skilled Catan players Catan Universe has to offer!



In order to win the prestigious Emperor’s Crown you’ll have to show that you're an extremely versatile Catan player that is able to master all the Catan variants we have and finish every Season in the top 1% to win every Crown necessary to earn the ultimate Crown of the Emperor!

Of course we will make it worth your while, as every Season is going to have great rewards even if you're not able to finish at the very top.

We will start on December 17th with another Base Game Season to make sure everyone has a chance to participate but we will follow it up with the first Seafarer Season in spring 2019.

Dear friends, we continue to tell you about the development of the project and our current plans!

This time we decided to improve the quality of graphics profoundly. So we develop the dynamic lighting in the game. This will provide more realistic picture in order to feel the atmosphere of the subway.

In addition to the new type of lighting, we are working on an improved system of reflections. The choice of weather parameters will become more customizable.
We want to show you the new graphics as soon as possible however due to the large amount of work on each of the subway lines, we will add new graphics step by step through the levels. You will be able to evaluate the new graphics in the middle of December!
