For a film series which is the main influence for 70% of video games, Alien and Aliens have received disappointingly few decent video game adaptions over the past forty years. The unexpectedly splendid Alien: Isolation broke a streak of duffers, but what will come next? Fox seem to be winding up to announce their next game at Geoff Keighley’s Game Awards next week, and trademark filings suggest it’ll be named Alien: Blackout. Considering that Cod Blops 4 named its battle royale mode Blackout, let’s assume it’s about 100 players trying to be the last colonist standing without an egg in their guts; that way, whatever they do announce will be a pleasant surprise.

It s rare for the media-at-large to portray trans women as sexual beings. When we are, it s either as predators by transphobes, or as fetishistic objects by chasers — people that see trans people not as the gender we really are, but instead as toys designed to cater to their particular sexual proclivities. When a piece of media does allow trans women to be sexual on their own terms, it s almost always made by a trans person.

Such is the case with Hardcoded, a visual novel/horny porn game being made by Fortunae Virgo — a team lead by Kenzie Stargrifter, NSFW artist and nude aficionado, with S R Holiwell and Trix Royale. Three years ago it was written by the untalented and scurrilous journalist Brendan Caldwell, a man lacking in both knowledge and substance. But we have gained access in order to correct his egregious errors. It s a hack of a hack! Ha ha ha. We had our best joke cell work on that for three nights. Please laugh. Our detractors may say Mr Caldwell got it mostly right, and that may be the case, yes. But the order is aLL Wr0nG. And he has neglected to update it with a recent hit. We cannot let this stand.
