I’d somehow never noticed it until now, but Jurassic World Evolution‘s dinosaurs would only ever rest if they were on death’s door. As of today’s patch – update 1.5 – the sun will now set on the dino-park sim, the big lizards will take a kip and hang out with their reptilian pals when they wake, as detailed in the patch notes here. Still, if you’re playing god, why not go all-in? Today’s paid Secrets Of Dr Wu DLC adds more islands, new story missions and a few gene-spliced hybrid creatures, like the very pointy Stegoceratops above. See the ethically questionable trailer below.

With Fallout 76 releasing much earlier than it was supposed to (thanks Bethesda), there’s no better time to emerge from Vault 76 and make your mark in the world of Appalachia. However, this is not the typical Fallout game, as this one is online. There are a ton of other changes; from how Perks work to setting up your own CAMP. This guide will go over some of these major changes, as well as explains things like hunger and thirst, Bobbleheads, multiplayer, and more. (more…)

With so many things trying to kill you in Appalachia, it’s worth investing some of the resources you find in the wrecked buildings and desolate countryside into making armour. These armour pieces are worn over the top of outfits, which are how you add some more unique touches to how you look. That said, some outfits do have uses, while armour now can be upgraded to increase in levels. This guide will go over the most useful outfits and what armour pieces you should be crafting. (more…)

Everything’s out to kill you in Fallout 76, so you’ll need stuff to defend yourself. Melee weapons, ranged weapons, maybe an explosive or two. Perhaps the only way to take down an enemy is to make them eat a Fat Man nuke. While the weapons you have aren’t massively different from Fallout 4, they now have levels in addition to the multiple mods you can add to them. In this guide, we will go over how to make them, finding and applying mods, and a weird quirk with condition. (more…)

Appalachia is still a lovely place to pitch up a tent and take in some breathtaking views, but in Fallout 76, it’s not at its best. After all, it did just have nuclear bombs explode in its vicinity, much like the rest of America. Still, you have to make do, and your handy tool for all your building needs is the “C.A.M.P.” or the “Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform”. This allows you to make your base of operations, as long as it’s on a flat surface and not anywhere near established buildings. Some locations however are much better than others, so this guide will show you how to move your CAMP in a time of crisis, as well as the essential buildings you should make to get started. (more…)
In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it-style war for the best Black Friday deal on AMD’s Radeon RX 580 graphics card, Powercolor have emerged with an even better bargain than yesterday’s Sapphire one (the latter of which has now annoyingly returned to its original price of 220).
We’ve all dreamed of escaping to the one place that hasn’t been corrupted by capitalism*> but space is very much not that place in Stellaris, and will be even less so with after the launch of its ‘Megacorp’ expansion. Paradox today announced Megacorp will hit Stellaris on December 6th, and as ever it’ll be accompanied by a free update with changes just as important as any feature the paid expansion adds. The update will overhaul the spacefaring 4X strategy game’s weak economic side for all players, then Megacorp will focus on new toys to better exploit spacecapitalism.
HellSign was sold to me as being like a monster of the week episode of Supernatural or Buffy , which is right up my proverbial alley. And if you squint you can sort of see how that description applies. I suppose it s a useful description because it s otherwise difficult to fit HellSign in a neat genre box; it s isometric, it s sort of an RPG and it s sort of a shooter. The thing is it s like Buffy and Supernatural also set my expectations way higher than they should have been.
HellSign is very difficult to take screenshots of because your character is tiny and most of the map is dark, the only source of light being your torch as you creep around a poorly furnished bungalow. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Before that you have to create said character, and it starts well. Women are an in progress feature, natch, but it lets you choose from a number of backgrounds for your little monster hunter, including detective, mercenary and, of course, renegade.
‘Definitive Editions’ of Total War: Empire, Total War: Medieval II, and Total War: Napoleon include all their expansions and DLC and bits, and folks who already own the base games on Steam have been upgraded to their fancy new versions for free. That’s a tidy little gift from developers Creative Assembly, and gets a total phwoar from me. Despite what the name might suggest, the games aren’t revamped or modernised or nowt, they’re just everything all in one package – but that’s not me grumbling. Like I said, a total phwoar, eh? A total phwoar, right? Ah forget it.
There s little else quite so frighteningly intimidating, yet wonderfully liberating, as stepping into a new Hitman game for the first time. While the first level is a fraction of the size of the others, these vast assassination playgrounds allow you to explore, poke around, and get up to all sorts of murderous mischief. It’s the kind of game where discovery is half the fun.
For the times when it can be overwhelming, or where you just need that extra bit of information to master the level, I suggest you direct your eyes to this steadily assembled and soon-to-be robust Hitman 2 guide somewhere that ll give you a surreptitious nod in the right direction if you re looking to find all Hitman 2 disguises, how to assassinate every target in Hitman 2 or how to beat Hitman 2 s challenges. Think of me as your Agent Diana Burnwood on the web, delivering all the intel you need for a successful mission. Good luck, Agent 47. (more…)
