This patch adds basic background music to the levels. If you have any feedback on the music or other features. Please put your thought in the discussion page.
We are excited to get this out as soon as we can. It isn't looking like too much longer is needed and we have many things to share that you can look forward to once the patch launches.
Changes: - New main menu UI - New Hunt menu UI - New logo for Wrath of the Goliaths: Dinosaurs - New Hunter model, audio, and animations for first person and third person - Updated in-game UI - Added inventory system - Updated the pause menu - Reworked the trophy bagging system - Added animation and interaction for when you bag the trophy - Reworked the AI system - Reworked the spawn system - Proper game instance settings, removed the old hunt variable system. This should alleviate major problems with loading levels - Fixed the weather system to properly load the selected weather - Added Tupuxuara - Added Pteranodon - Updated the loading screen - New weapon system is implemented, you can now drop weapons as they run out of ammunition, or pick up weapons you find while hunting - The ui will now shame you if you hunt an animal you don't have a license for - New map in the works, will replace both maps from former builds. We are sad to see them go as it did take a lot of effort to create them, but it is the only way we can be certain the game will run efficiently is to start from scratch. - Added a new burst rifle - Added new audio for the weapons - Tweaked several things, so many we won't list here. Majority involve small variables such as speed of certain animals, reload speed for some weapons, and fire rates.
Many more fixes and additions will come in the patch once it is ready, for now the majority of these are already implemented.
Here are the new logos for the game! There is a blue and red variant.
Lastly here is the Main Menu theme, composed by Jonathan Harris:
Update #113 rolls out a brand new faction-specific ship, a new rank 15 Talents for Navigators and delivers on a ton of suggestions from the Steam community -- story improvements, UI fixes, Talent balance and more. If you're enjoying the updates, improvements, new content -- please tell a friend and leave a review!
Zartar Fang
Speed and striking power are quintessential to the Steel Song combat tactics and their new faction-specific ship, the Zartar Fang, delivers on both. Weighing in at that M2400 range, the Fang rolls off the starport assembly line with a Weapons Locker A4, Armored Officer Suites and a Scout Bridge. While its base weapon systems may need an upgrade, this mid-range attack cruiser is deadly at first flight.
Closing Range
The Hyperwarp Navigator Job picks up a rank 15 Talent with this new update -- Flash Charge. A companion to Skip Off the Void, Flash Charge allows the use of the Hyperwarp Drive in the opposite direction -- straight at the enemy! With a short-burst, a heavy dose of fuel and 5-15% Damage, you can drop straight into Range 4 or even 3 with an enemy. For those targets you can't allow the chance to Escape or if your craft is built to unleash hell from Range 3, Flash Charge is ready to bring you in close -- fast.
Your chances to reach Range 3 over 4 are based on a Void Engine Agility contest between the two ships.
Stories Deepen
Calagan Faen's arc has improved with his Prime Pilgrimage mission now giving an introduction to the High Prince or Princess of his faction. All the more reason to get involved with the Faen.
We've fixed some balance issues in the run of fights through the bloodsport story, making sure that they are living up to their storied difficulty.
Steam Requests
A huge thanks to all the players posting suggestions, UI requests and more to the boards. You'lre helping us constantly improve!
Any mission that modifies the Influence of a Contact now shows not only the change to their Influence but their final score as well. No more need to dig around the Contact list to find it.
During ship encounters, you can now hover over the cargo tray to see your cargo. While you could always switch to the Ship Report tab, this tooltip has more detail and is faster -- helping you make wiser surrender / loot / inspection decisions.
The E-Suture Talent has had its Initiative cost reduced to 12, making it a competitive choice again.
You can now see the full rules for Edict / Permit / Rank loss in the Contact offers. There were some undocumented rules about the effect of going into negative Rep. Obviously, once you go negative, the faction will start to strip away any and all Edicts / Permits / Ranks with each new transgression.
Enemy ships are now using the class name of the ship ("Zartar Fang") instead of the captain's profession ("Bounty Hunter Ship").
Finally, we've updated the Hyperwarp Jump screen so that its button position matches Navigate from the main map.

Hi Guys,
After a few months of a development hiatus, i am back to the normal development, so expect one or two updates per month, from now on.
For this update, if your saves are under 1.60, is recommended to start a new game!
What's new?
1) FISHING!
You can now build a Fishery and receive a steady amount of food any season, but it relies a lot of the skill of Fishermen, so assign the ones with the highest skills.
Each Fishery can have up to 7 spots in total, but it's based on where you place the building, so look for the fishing spot tool tip to get the maximum spots.
2) SKILL IMPROVEMENTS:
Skills are much more important now, beside reducing the time to complete a job, or if successful, (fishing) now on certain ranges, they can provide you with double resources. For example a villager with a forest skill of 50, has 50% to get double wood (4 instead of 2) when chopping a tree, and 100% chance to get double at 100 skill.
Beside the bonuses, the skills have diffrent color now on the inspect window and villagers list, for a faster recognition: 50 or more Blue, 100 Green.
3) Map is 25% bigger and Villagers now move 30% faster.
4) Added an Event Window which gives you some details on events, or warnings in certain situations.
5) Tweaked the food values, events, jobs timers to give you a more challenging gameplay.
6) Added user folder in My Documents/My Games/Civitatem which now is used for Cloud saving on Steam and storing saves, and certain user options.
7) Added more tool tips, and nutrition info for Barn Icons.
8) Fixed a ton of bugs including:
- font size+ option and edge scroll didnt work properly - edge scroll speed scales with the current camera depth - fixed a few bugs related to Villagers List. - fixed - a bug where you couldnt select/click villagers close to the status UI on the left. - fixed - on close vlist - vlist top down icon remains tagged. - fixed - some speed related bugs on low health for villagers - fixed a sound bug with building sound not taking in consideration the volume in some cases.
Changes: * Added filter crafting by categories . * Ammo weapons and crafting. * When hovering over an item in the shop the slots that can equip it will be highlighted. * Materials stack limit changed from 999 to 9999.
Bugs: * Fixed graphics settings (Now fullscreen and border mode are independent) * Fixed bugs with advanced armory and armory enabling the same items
Fixed bug that could corrupt save data and cause objects to dissappear from game and other problems. If your data has already been corrupted, email me your save file located at users/yourname/appdata/local/orphan to brandongoins@windyhillstudio.com and describe the problem and I can correct it.
Faster animations for crouching, going prone and climbing.
Well, the title says it all :D But there are also some other changes, to respond to some of the problems some reviews mention. - The game now explicitely warns you after your session time that you should push a certain button unless you want the game to go on forever - you can do a denial scenario (since it is No Nut November :D) - some new lines added - fullscreen mode is in (actually that was always in, but now it is on a button on the top right corner) - an additional button that might be useful in some shameful cases :D
