Regroup Call Changes After testing and feedback, we have decided to change the Radio Regroup call deployment system which is now live in this update. This can be activated from the T menu as Section Leader.
The Section Leader will no longer be the spawn point, but a deployable object instead. This will drop a Radio Tent on the ground where your section members will be able to respawn.
Once the radio is dropped it will allow your section mates to spawn on it. The Regroup Call will last a certain amount of time depending on where you place it. You can add to the amount of time by hitting the refresh button in the T menu when either standing next to the existing Regroup Call tent or anywhere if you are in range of a radio. If enemies get near your tent it will disable spawns and you must clear out those enemies to reactivate it. The enemies can destroy your tent with any explosives.
Radio Regroup Call Restrictions
INSIDE RED ZONE
With no radio nearby 120 seconds
Radio 240 seconds
OUTSIDE RED ZONE
With no radio nearby 240 seconds
Radio 360 seconds
REFRESH WITH RADIO REMOTELY
+120 seconds
REFRESH ON THE TENT
+120 seconds
Cannot be used inside a flag and it can be deactivated if enemies are nearby. A grenade will destroy it.
In other news we have also started testing the US Airborne Faction to all owners of the Post Scriptum Supporter Edition. Keep an eye on our social channels for more updates on our next test!
Today's Devblog previews a bunch of features and improvements coming to CardLife in our mid-November update including new Digging options and more tools for the Connect The Dots editor.
New Connect the Dot functionality
We have seen some incredible designs made using our Connect the Dots system (see below for some awesome community structures and creations!). But we want to improve the usability of this system to give players more creative power.
The most requested addition was the ability to redo and undo. Previously if you made a mistake while cutting out a shape, you would need to start again from scratch. Our incoming change aims to address that concern!
First, you are no longer confined to make your weapon follow the outline. We have given you much more control to shape the object however you want.
Next! If you’re not happy with your shape, you can simply undo and redo very easily with just a click of the button!
Even once you have made your initial shape, the redo buttons will still be activated and you can make further adjustments
The undo and Redo also works when cutting out shapes within your creation!
We have further plans to improve the functionality of this system. This is just the start!
New Mining system
We are currently refining the mining system in CardLife to make it much more predictable. We’ve had a few players report that when digging they would like to have much greater control over the shape of their caverns. These new changes will make it easier to not only dig, but also place down stone and dirt too!
If you equip a shovel or a pick axe and face a digable surface you will see a circular outline. This outline shows exactly where you will dig and can be resized and the depth can be adjusted by right clicking
This should give you greater flexibility to create amazing cavern systems with improved precision.
This system also affects placing down dirt or stone too! We’re looking forward to seeing players construct some truly remarkable statues using this new system!
We may have some more news to share regarding the changes to mining in the coming weeks. But let us know what you think of these changes!
Community creations
Have you made something amazing in CardLife? An epic structure, a cool character or a marvelous mod. You should definitely tell us about them! Here are a few screenshots that were shared over the last week:
We sent out a call to action earlier this week which asked you to send in your top ten bugs. We had quite a few of you getting in touch via Discord, Steam and via our official forums. This list has been sent over to the production team who is now looking over the most severe issues and making plans to address them. Remember to keep providing us bug reports and give us clear descriptions and reproduction steps so that we can fix them much faster!
That’s the end of this week's dev blog. We have some really exciting news to share over the next couple of weeks so make sure to stay tuned!

SiNKR 2 is coming this winter and I've just published a Steam page. It is super important for visibility on Steam to have a healthy sized wishlist before launch, if you would, please add the game to your wishlist. Your continued support really makes a huge difference, thank you all!
SiNKR 2 uses the same contraptions as the original SiNKR but has a bunch of polish, more levels than the original, and a new optional level selection grid allowing multiple paths to complete the game. There are crickets in the new SiNKR 2 community forum, if you have any questions, feel free to post them there or here in the comments below.
Greetings Wanderers of the vast and unknowable universe,
As many of you have been buzzing about this, the new CCC selection is upon us.
Community Council
For those of you who missed the initial post you may find it here, but in a nutshell - the Council is a community focus group helping us get concise feedback across the board as we make decisions in development and represent and represent community sentiment. You want to build a bigger, better community for yourself and your friends!
We have looked into various online voting platforms and it’s looking like with enough dedication one can easily cheat the system.
The CCC members sign NDAs, and Herb and the devs can contact them in regards to questions they have. Examples from the last CCC sessions: PvE server, feature implementations, player-facing bug prioritisation. This means you have to be an active player.
Sometimes Herb will ask “should we do a thing?”, sometimes tell you “hey, we’re doing a thing.” and we will have a short period of very passionate debate from some CCC representatives, better preparing us for bringing the new changes to the wider community, and knowing what problems to anticipate.
Basic Requirements:
60+ hours of gameplay
Of good community character regardless of in-game playstyle
Very well familiarized with game mechanics and lore
Understanding of fellow player needs and desires when it comes to the game
All in-game playstyles are welcome
No recent in-game bans
Good to have:
If you are already a part of the Feedback/Playtest channels on discord ran by Tania is certainly a huge bonus
Previous game community council experience
Managing Worlds Adrift related content is a huge bonus (e.g.: fan pages, videos, streams, podcasts, etc.)
What will be required of a CCC member:
Council members will have to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
Continue to play the game frequently and represent the community sentiment
Be comfortable voicing their opinions at Community Panel meetings/calls in a professional manner
Helpful to new players out and hopefully in-game (unless provoked)
We are aware that there are currently crashes happening in games with Cub/Seven in them. The crash usually happens at the end of the game, but rewards are not affected. You will still get the appropriate game rewards.
We aim to release a hotfix for this early next week! We apologize for the inconvenience!
We have just updated Mandy's Room to the latest version, V1.10, which includes the new much-anticipated customization features. Now you can customize Mandy's look to your own specific liking.
You can change Mandy's Hair Style, Hair color, Skin tone etc. There is even a green skin, for those who may have a thing for Elphaba or She-hulk. We don't judge!
If you already have Mandy's Room, just make sure you have the latest update and give it a go. Change her style and relive some of your favorite moments with her new look.
Feel free to post screenshots of your own custom Mandy as she lives out her adventures in Mandys' Room.
We also want to send out a big THANKS to the community for the feature recommendations as well. Keep them coming!
More animals added. Rhino, hippo, lion, lioness, crocodile, and elephants. Still more work to do on the AI and to link in the achievements but hopefully we will get more progress to that tomorrow.
The quests are working from the female gorillas but are not linked to achievements yet.
New biomes added for rivers/coastline, rainforest, mountains and savannah.
Another day or two for initial full release but work will of course still continue after that.
We look forward to getting feedback for new features and additions.
New/current purchasers still qualify for a free copy of the first episode of our next game titled "Lightmare Castle" A story driven medieval adventure.
