This hotfix addresses a few bugs introduced in the #112 Razor's Edge update. First -- there was an odd case where a story mission might set your money to $0 instead of giving you $10,000 right at the beginning of the game. Rough!
Eryn Razor now has a small Personal Rep requirement (20) before she lets you in on her big wager in the bloodsport storyline.
We've further improved the starting Contact's selector to avoid Char's faction, but have to temper this with saying -- depending on the map seed, its still possible that there will be Char-faction Contacts. Its far less likely now.
And oh the shame -- we fixed one place where Rychart was terribly mispelled ;)

The most important fix is the one with Quickmatch where some players needed to wait a lot longer while there were people readily available. Also the missing Frank Klepacki track in Showcase (sorry Frank!) and tons of small stuff in the visuals and gameplay. Scroll down past all the brabble to see the changes in detail!
Even though Ranked mode was a bonus that we didn't exactly plan to have on launch, we're very happy how avidly the mode is played (the please-take-a-break-for-your-health kind of avidly). I'm sure everyone is aware that Ranked mode will evolve over time, but thanks again for your patience.

Noctes de Mortuis - Nights of the Dead - are an important Fall event at Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption. They are a time when the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead becomes stretched thin. With the proper preparation, communication with the dead becomes possible at this time of year.
Halloween has always been one of our favorite holidays. What’s not to like about creepy decorations, people in costumes, and candy? This year Lori and Corey will celebrate with a live stream on the Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption channel on YouTube. We’re still setting it up, but what could possibly go wrong? :-) Oct. 31 from 1 pm PDT until probably 1 am on Nov. 1.
The event will include a “slow play” of Rogue to Redemption - looking at all the jokes and clues in the first room or two. We’ll also have Quest for Glory and Hero-U trivia quizzes, giveaways, “ask us anything,” and much more!
Hey everyone! There seems to be a lot of questions on how to play the game.
Truthfully, the very first thing you should do if you are brand new is to
Play the Tutorial
Nothing beats it. If you just try to jump into Outbreak mission, you are going to run into a lot of issues.
This game isn't some arcade shooter, so you will need to actually pay attention to your surroundings and also voice acting. (I do apologize to our foreign friends, you will have to suffice with subtitles in the tutorial for now. Missions will be subtitled in the near future as well)
Don't try to get through the game like you're on some speedrun. Take your time and explore. We have put a lot of time and effort into every single level, so enjoy it to the fullest.
There are plenty of easter eggs as well.
With that said here are some things that seem to still be unclear and we'll be improving on the experience in the future.

Saving/Loading
Slot Saving was introduced in Update 3.
To Save, find a candle and use the lighter right by it (Eject, then Trigger)
To Load, use your watch menu
Slot Saving
So basically, these candles are one-time use only. You grab the lighter and press EJECT to open up the Lighter, then USE to light the Lighter. Light up the candle, wait a second for it to burn and then the Slot Saves will appear. Pick one (remember which one) and viola, all your stuff is saved at that point.
Loading
Loading is done via the Watch Menu:
And you'll automatically load into the Ready Room

Weapon Handling
Use grip to grab weapons. Firearms have some more complex interactions. Use TRIGGER to change firing rates or to rack a slide back.

Free Roam
Something to do while waiting for missions is to play Free Roam. We've recently added Resource Gathering and Crafting. We also expanded the map to include Dustbowl! There's also a Firing Range that you can practice your firearm skills with that will have more gamemode added in the future.

We currently only have the Hunted gamemode available. It's a PvP mode. Last Survivor Standing. If there are more than 2 players in the game, you will turn into a zombie when you die so that you can take revenge on those who hurt you!
