As mentioned on yesterday's 'Weekly Maintenance: October 30th' post on our official Vindictus website, the 'Destruction Safeguard Rune' will be removed from the Shop and will no longer be available for purchase after today's maintenance due to enhancement revamps and legal issues.
To give a proper farewell to a Rune we dearly loved, we've organized a small event for you as below:
Note:
Items that were previously purchased may be used normally in-game regardless of the sales end date.
In addition to the Cash Shop, the sale of the 'Destruction Safeguard Rune' will also be removed from the 'Seal of Bravery Shop' and the 'Monthly Mission Ticket Exchange Shop.'
Event: Farewell Destruction Safeguard Rune
Starting Date: October 30th (After Maintenance)
Ending Date: November 6th (Before Maintenance)
Event Details:
Enhancement level decrease is prevented when attempting to enhance +10 to +14 items during the event period.

Unstable Destruction Safeguard Rune (Binding)
Note:
This event applies to all 'Event Target Items,' regardless of how the item was acquired.
When attempting to use the 'Event Target Items' after the event period, the enhancement level decrease will be applied as it was before.
As this event only applies to minimum +10 / maximum +14 items, items +15 or higher will not be applied when attempting to enhance.
When Using the 'Destruction Safeguard Rune:'
As enhancement systems have been revamped, enhancement failures of the 'Destruction Safeguard Rune' after the event period will be applied as below: - When failure to enhance using the 'Destruction Safeguard Rune,' enhancement level decrease will be applied as before and the percentage of the enhancement bonus will be applied at the decreased enhancement level rate.

Hi everyone this is a quick anousment letting you know of the latest update and what is in it.
First of all its coming upto our first year on steam so as part of that i have added a party room to the game which for a limited time will have a free gift of a mask to transform you into a pixie or genie depending the color you picked. To claim this just talk to the fairy in the party room.You can only pick one per player.
Ontop of the new item i added in a few dance emotes/spells found in the spell tab so that you can dance abit at the new disco in the room shown below. that has smoke machines,lazer lights etc
There is also a large empty area where players can socalize and test there new masks by the entrance aswell as cake that gives +100 food (so if hunger at 0 you fully feed) I added hunger back but at 0 there is no damage just a message to remind you until i can get more food and stuff added
That about does it for the new party room which in around a month will be removed/emptied it might be reused for later things if so just the food tables and stuff will be removed an example is if sales go well in the next month i can probally afford to have help to do a december holiday event too.
Onto the next part of the update I have spent alot of time tweeking and converting the main level to now stream the monsters landscape etc into the scene so instead of one huge level that drains frames and mega load time it fast load time and hundreads of mini levels that load on demand as player gets close the downside is during loading in there is frame drops but overall it gives much better fps and load times.
To prevent falling through world i have placed a special block below spawn in main world that keeps player safe after loading of needed assets down it warps you to right spot so please try not to move off it until done to prevent falling through world.The carrage now also has a special sticky part inside so players that jump in move with it rather then falling though it/slingshot out while on this dont move if you can see terrain inside the cart or it will register as walking on terrain and warp you out to the spot you was but for easy access to new town just use horse/walk following the road the carrage uses.(Roman theme town still work in progress)
The forge also can now mage a huge selection of axes and shields more to come soon
I think that does it for now as this latest one mostly a huge optimize update but brief overview for those that dont wanna read a huge thing of text:
-Party/event room added with food that fully restores hunger,Disco and free event item -Huge frame optimization and load time reduction -Alot of new craftables added (blacksmith by the forge sells ores)

I already have an VALOFE account. Do I still need to register for a new one to play Combat Arms: Reloaded on Steam?
Answer:
The Steam version of Combat Arms: Reloaded can only be played by logging into the Steam account. If you are not a Steam user, please sign up for a new Steam account. If you want to play with VALOFE account, you have to install the client of VALOFE version which can be downloaded from the VALOFE site and play it. In other words, the VALOFE account can't be used on STEAM. However, VALOFE version and Steam version are working on the same server and each user will play together.
· Fix an issue with the Satyr quest Hel's Blessing where crafting a Spear of Hel doesn't register as task completion. If you are currently working on this task, you need to redo it after the update. If you have already completed this task, you could still do it again and get rewarded.
· Fix an issue with taming quests - players were asked to meet a lot of requirements before they can get the tames. Players were forced to stay around the tame during the taming progress, and they cannot go anywhere until it is finished. To compensate for that, we adjusted it to make it easier for you and house members to finish taming quests: Even if you leave the creatures during the taming, you can still get the quest finished. House members who assist in the taming process can also complete the quest..
Bug Fixing
· Fix a bug that could cause server crash.
· Fix an issue where Sluagh is not spawning properly.
· Fix an issue where player characters' and tames' speed are getting incorrect debuff once affected by Dharkhu's venom attack.
Optimization
· We changed the icon of Gorgon Hydroponic Plot to a triangular land. You can use the Hydroponic Plot to grow crops more efficiently. You could use these triangular lands and the fan-shaped lands to build up the unique land as you like. · Fix some UI. · Fix some text.
We will soon update the following content in a future patch.
· Players on the Sacred Path may not be able to accept and work on the quests. We have already noted this issue and we are currently working on a fix.
· We have also noticed the rubber banding that has occurred to tames since the Halloween patch. We are working on fixing these bugs right now and will update as soon as possible.
· We are also aware of the issue with Air Fortress. Its collision isn't properly configured at the moment, we will fix it in the upcoming patch. Also note that, in the next few months, we will reconstruct the Air Fortress to avoid future problems.
·Despite being indicated in game elsewhere, Shadow Cannon Ball and Light Cannon Ball currently do not have their recipe ready in the Refining Forge. We are working on this right now.
· We are currently proofreading Russian localization, and other language localization as well, and we will release them hopefully by end of this week.
We would also extend our invitation to our dear adventurers to assist in the localization proofreading about these languages. We will upload a "Dark and Light text reference document" in the community. You could find all language translation in this document. If you find any mistake in the text, feel free to leave a comment in the community or email us. We will fix it!
