With the release of this update, the digital board game Fated Kingdom has crossed an important line - 5 months from the start of early access. During this time, the gaming community has grown significantly. Along with it, the quantity and, more importantly, the quality of the content has grown. We have corrected many of the errors and omissions that you wrote to us about.
In the past couple of months, we have also been involved in improving the development environment, which is why there have been so few technical changes. But now we can work on the game more effectively, because we have laid the foundation for further major improvements. Next, we briefly list the planned innovations.
First, this is a new guild with its unusual abilities. Secondly, it is an improved game board, which will make the games more dynamic and more interesting. Thirdly, this is a set of 10 new cards with new mechanics. We also prepared a little surprise for those who are still planning to purchase Fated Kingdom. After all, what could be Halloween without sitting down at a board game with friends?
New Content:
3 new cards: «Bewitched Dice», «Fool’s Gold» and «The Hermit».
A new square on the inner path - Barracks («Draw 2 cards.»).
Flavor text for 4 cards: «Ancient Knowledge», «Vae Victis», «Mimic» and «Campfire».
Other Changes:
Fixed incorrect display of flavor text on some cards.
Battlerite Royale Patch 0.2 will go live at 7:00 UTC on October 17th and contain the Curse of the Night Halloween Event, the Battlerite Royale private lobby, and new Champion Ruh Kaan.
During this patch we are planning on experimenting with the player count in matches during select time windows. During these times we will be increasing the amount of players in game to 40. Players will be notified when these theses have begun and ended via the in-game chat system.
Follow us on Twitter or join our Discord Channel to keep up to date on any more information.
Curse of the Night - Halloween Event
Creepy items are back in the world of Battlerite, along with the dark and dangerous things in the world. Three new Creepy Outfits and new Creepy Weapons are now in game, and all past Creepy Outfits, Weapons, Mounts, and Poses return to take part in the devious delights. Purchase these ghoulish items directly with Diamonds or Tokens or find them exclusively in Creepy Chests or Spooky Chests.
Spooky Chests can be earned by leveling up your Account Level, where they have temporarily replaced Silver Chests. These chests contain 3 random drops and guarantees at least 1 Rare item and 1 random Creepy item. They can also be purchased at 400 Battle Coins each.
Creepy Chests can only be obtained by completing limited time Event Quests and will not be directly purchasable with Diamonds. These chests contain 3 random drops and guarantees 1 non-duplicate Epic or Legendary Creepy item. Owning all items results in duplicate items.
Trick or Treat Shrines
A set number of Trick or Treat shrines spawn randomly across the map during the Halloween Event. Interact with the shrine to gain an unknown effect. Trick or Treat? Who knows!
Players can activate each shrine one time per player. A shrine always grants the same effect to any player interacting with it but the effect itself is randomized for each shrine.

Gameplay Updates
Players can now undo their purchases in the starting area
In order to reduce network stress whenever a player dies, items are now dropped over a short duration of time instead of all items dropping instantly. This makes deaths less subject to lag.
When a player dies, they can now drop their M1 ability as long as it's rare or higher quality
Talon Island Map
Players now spawn in 4 different locations on Talon Island during the starting phase and no longer on the isolated island.
This will give players the chance to get more accustomed to the map during the starting phase when waiting for players to connect. We are also spreading out players for technical reasons as gathering all players in the same location affects client and server performance. We intend to do time-slotted testing with 40 players on the map making the isolated island even more cramped. We will see how these changes affect the experience and will continue to work on the map in upcoming patches.

Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War - Alberto
Since Warhammer 40,000: Gladius has been released players have been enthralled with it: for the first time ever it was possible to play a 4X strategy game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and we are glad to see that it was so well received.
Proxy Studio, developers of Gladius, haven't been idle since then.
We are ready to announce its first DLC, which will be released on Friday October 19th!
With the Reinforcement Pack new units join the fight on Gladius Prime!
With one new unit per faction, plus one for the Neutral faction, the expansion will widen the strategical options for all commanders.
You can now lead the Tempestus Scions elite troops for rapid-insertion strike tactics, for the greater glory of the Imperium of Man. Or perhaps you want more dakka (can't ever have enough dakka) and would rather field your new Flash Gitz, ready to unleash cataclysmic fire on their enemies?
What is this noise I hear? That's the new Land Raider, a mighty and unstoppable war machine, ready to deploy its Astartes passengers wherever they're most needed. And what of the elite warriors of the Necrons, the Immortals? Heavily armed and armoured, they will stop at nothing in the completion of their masters' goals.
On top of that, there is a new threat lurking in the shadows, biding their time and ready for an insurrection... the Neophyte Hybrids!
This is just the first of a series of planned expansions for Gladius. In the past month the team has been working hard to implement a brand new playable race, one which will be played in a drastically different way. Stay tuned, for there will be more news soon!
We want to remind you that Sudoku Killer will be available this Friday, October 19, 10am PDT.
Sudoku Killer will be bundled with Sudoku Universe for a week, with special launch discount - 75%, so all Sudoku Universe owners can buy it really cheap.

This patch is more of a hotfix than a true patch- but still brings new content!
-New level layout with 3 sets of levels
-Each set of levels consists of one mob-infested level and is followed by a boss room
-In order to progress to the next level, you must clear mobs until you are presented with the power crystal, which has a 1/20 chance to drop from mobs, or dropped when you kill the last mob in the level.
-Removed outdated tutorial, control layout included in the main lobby!
-Implemented the placement of artifacts, which currently have no function. In the next update, these artifacts will be used to give the player a choice after the player defeats the boss: for each artifact you have, you have one additional choice to choose a grand/legendary item, which each have different and unique effects.
This update improves the early game experience and improves lots of details all over the place.
- Fixed out of bounds opportunity in Blue Ville - Removed error sound when you can't pick up health because your health is full - Force player to look at explosion of first small volcano after getting the gun; people often missed the mini-boss spawning - Force player to see turning of jumppad in shield generator region after stomping blue button; it was totally unclear what the button did - I made a technical change to the saving of the status of a kind of trigger I'm using while creating events; this might have unforeseen consequences for savegames older than this version, so that some triggers might not work and some that were already triggered will trigger again - Added shortcut pipe in shield generator region so it's easier to travel from one end to the other - Preventing player from spawning a force cube in the chapel while the door is open - Added use button tutorial to the first few chests in the game; some didn't know they had to be used and smashed them with a sword instead - Made it clearer in NPC texts that barrels contain upgrades and should be brought to the shop; some people had no clue - Added shortcut jumppad where you need to triple jump from pipe to pipe, incase you fall down - Added "..." overlay while the screen turns black after you discover the blue guys destroying the pipe at the end of the tutorial - Many small changes

Champion Updates
This patch sees an across the board reduction for most Crowd Control abilities with a duration of 2.5s or above. The purpose is to allow more overall active gameplay, reduce some of the frustration involved in being Crowd Controlled and noticeably reduce the duration of chained Crowd Controls. These abilities are still meant to be viable as disengages, but the changes will allow for more active gameplay versus Champions with powerful Crowd Control. Beyond that, the state of balance in Battlerite has been stable during the last patch, which is something we want to preserve as we move forward. As such we're using somewhat of a lighter touch than usual when addressing outlying Champions.
Alysia Alysia sees some of the power in her Glacial Prism rites shifted around, with her overall defensive power strengthened.
Freeze (Debuff)
Duration reduced from 3.3s to 3s
Battlerites
Crystalline Lattice (Q)
Bonus shield value increased from 12 to 14
Bonus radius moved to Wintry Blast
Wintry Blast (Q)
Now also increases radius of explosion by 20% (from 2.5 to 3)

Arctic Cloak (E)
Shield value increased from 12 to 16
Vandalism (R)

Ashka
Molten Chains (EX Q)
Petrify duration reduced from 3s to 2.7s
Bakko
War Stomp (EX Space)
Incapacitate duration reduced from 2.5s to 2.2s
Croak Cut to the Chase was a rite intended to enhance a playstyle where you're able to carefully pick your opportunity to engage. However, in most situations, it led to frustration for opponents as it gave Croak the ability to simply wait out most defensive moves and still engage afterward. In the future, we'll look into other rites for Croak's rite tree that could add additional interesting choices, but for now Cut to the Chase has been removed.
Deceit (EX Q)
Incapacitate duration reduced from 3s to 2.7s
Battlerites
Cut to the Chase (Q)
Removed
Ezmo Ezmo receives some additional power to two of his middling rite choices. Battlerites

Bolted (E)
Category changed from Offense to Utility
Face Melt (E)
Chaos Grip (M2) now also deals 2 bonus damage to enemies rooted by Shackle
Iva Iva's versatility makes her a useful pick in many compositions. The utility she offers is something we want to retain, but the old lady continued to be a bit too slippery for the utility she provided. As such that slipperiness sees some adjustment. Conductor should now surprise players less.
Concussive Shot (EX E)
Incapacitate duration reduced from 3s to 2.7s
Battlerites
U-Turn (Space)
Recast duration reduced from 2s to 1.8s
Rocket Booster (Space)
Haste factor reduced from 35% to 30%
Conductor (E)
Time before the second projectile fires increased from 0.3s to 0.4s
Jamila After she briefly rose to prominence, some of the latest changes ended up tuning down Jamila a bit too much. As such, we're returning some of her previous damage output while also returning some utility to Quick Strike.
Elusive Strike (Space)
Minimum damage increased from 8 to 10
Shadow Dance (Q)
Shadow Slice (M1 when Shadow Dance has negated an attack) damage increased from 12 to 14

Tooltip updated to clarify functionality
Jumong The Beast Hunter remains in a precarious situation in which he can be devastating in coordinated play but struggles in general matchmaking, which is a bit tricky to approach. These changes are a first step at trying to reduce his capabilities in the right hands while not hitting his overall performance too harshly.
Rain of Arrows (Q)
Initial energy gain reduced from 4% to 3% (total energy gain reduced from 7% to 6%)
Battlerites
Trapper (E)
Distance between traps reduced from 2.5 to 1.85
Death Mark (Perk)
Bonus damage reduced from 4 to 3
Lucie
Petrify Dart (EX E)
Petrify duration reduced from 3s to 2.7s
Oldur Oldur has a very strong identity as the ranged offensive support which is something we don't want to stray too far from. With these changes, we shift some of his offensive output from upfront to backloaded, while reinforcing his role as a support by also giving him an option for burst healing.
Sands of Time (M1)
Damage reduced from 12 to 10
Time Bomb damaged increased from 8 to 10
Shifting Sands (Space)
Traveling through an ally with Rejuvenate will now consume it to instantly trigger its effect
Stone Glass (R)
Petrify duration reduced from 3s to 2.7s
Pearl
Jaws (F)
Duration reduced from 3.4s to 3s
Raigon Raigon has remained in a strong position both in lower and higher levels of play. These changes should temper him a bit in both aspects.
Tectonic Shock (EX E)
Incapacitate duration reduced from 2s to 1.7s (including air time, total duration reduced from 3s to 2.7s)
Dragon Palm (R)
Damage from knocking an enemy into a wall decreased from 12 to 10

Taya Taya sees Surprise Attack returned to a former state, with some additional offensive power added to her rites. She also gets a new rite to give her an additional support option to choose from.
Wind Bomb (E)
Haste duration increased from 1s to 1.2s
Battlerites
Surprise Attack (M2)
Movement increased from 55% to 60%
Turbulence (Q)
Now also deals 3 bonus damage if the enemy is knocked into a wall

Thorn
Entangle (E)
Duration decreased from 2.5s to 2.2s
Ulric
Aegis of Valor (F)
Incapacitate duration reduced from 2.5s to 2.2s
Varesh With Inspiration, Varesh was able to stock up on energy quickly and was often able to utilize Powers Combined without having to consider how safe the ability was to use, due to having Kinetic Energy available immediately afterwards. Without Inspiration, Varesh will be forced to be more careful with his ultimate and play a bit more safe in general. Battlerites
Inspiration (Perk)
Removed
Zander Zander's Stacked Deck saw a change a few months back that helped address his impressive burst potential at the time. After several changes to Arcane Catalyst, the previous power should fit better in his kit now without issue. He also sees some quality of life updates.
Grand Conjuration (M2)
Projectile speed increased from 26 to 28
Portal (Q)
Max teleport ranged increased from 7.5 to 8
Max teleport range with the Around the World rite increased from 9 to 9.6
