Hello TERA players,
It is our aim to always bring you the best possible gaming experience. We know that it is very important for you to be able to find other players for group content quickly and easily at all times. We are therefore delighted to announce that we will be merging some servers in mid of September!

In the future, this will mean you will have lots of new players to form guilds with, trade with, face challenges together, or compete against!
As part of the server merge, servers of the same language will be combined. We will integrate the newer servers into the older servers of the same language.

The following server merges are planned:
  • 1 PvE server (EN): BAHAAR will be added to MYSTEL
  • 1 PvE server (DE): DAGON will be added to YURIAN
  • 1 international PvP server (EN): KILLIAN will remain
  • 1 PvE server (FR): SEREN will remain
You will find everything you need to know about the merge soon in our separate FAQ. We really hope the merge will help you enjoy the game even more! As always, if you have any questions, suggestions, or Feedback, you are more than welcome to leave them in the forum.
Note: The current Leaderboard season will not end on 6th of September. Instead it will end with the server merge (The current display in game is incorect).

Dear anglers,

the Australia: Coral Coast update is live!

Here are a few highlights of the Coral Coast update:

1. New location based in Australia: The Coral Coast. New fish species, including black marlins and great white sharks.
2. New quests including the hunt for Jagjaw, the legendary great white shark. You will also get a chance to help Jo, the marine biologist, to clean up the reef from plastic waste and help her to develop an antidote for the stings of deadly jellyfishes.
3. Five legendary fishes form the start. Meet the crew: Barcode the bar cod; Sharky McSharkface the jolly blue shark; a black marlin famously known as The Ninja; Googly Eyes, the big-eye tuna; and last but not least Jagjaw, the great white shark.
4. Get your charter tickets and go on a boat trip with your Australian skipper Brucie.
5. Improved weekly club tournaments. Clubs will now be sorted into groups of 30 clubs depending on your club's performance at a location during the previous week. Think of it as a weekly World Club Competition.
6. We extended the number of clubs that can win a weekly club tournament from the top 3 clubs to the top 5 clubs.
7. The Goldfish-prizes payed out to the weekly tournament winners have also been increased for all active club members of the winning clubs (and the prizes will be displayed when you login the first time after a tournament has ended).
8. We increased the Goldfish-rewards if you reach a 50+ experience level.
9. As requested: New line and rod repair kit packs!
10. The game can now be played in Russian language.
11. As requested: You can now set the user interface (UI) scale of the game in the settings menu. Many player complained that the UI in the Gameroom and Steam versions were too big. Now you can set your preferred UI scale yourself.
12. Last but not least: GDPR compliance. You will see exactly what kind of data we store, process and send to third parties when you play the game. Actually, with this update we will stop storing your e-mail address and your computer's IP address. We used to need this information to identify your account in our database when you contacted the TFC support. From now on, if you get in touch with the support team, you will need to provide your unique anonymised player ID that you can find in the settings screen of the game. You will also be able to delete your account permanently from the settings account. Be careful, though, once you deleted your account all your progress in the game will be gone, including all your in-game currency - really everything, forever and ever, no undelete possible. Gone. Sleeping with the fishes.

Please be aware that the Coral Coast update will not run in the browser using the Unity3D web player plug-in anymore. Instead please use the Gameroom version (https://www.facebook.com/playongameroom?app_id=143003082537413) or the Steam version (http://store.steampowered.com/app/522230) if you play the game on your PC.

How are we all this week? Has hunting season started yet where you live? I am hoping to get invited back out this year... Perhaps I can get my first Roe deer (which I will definitely share with Graham - This bit may or may not have also been added by Graham)! I know Geese season has started here at least. There are plenty of great videos going around social media, I did not realise Canada Geese had such a high population here in Sweden!

New Species



Not long now and you will be able to put your hunting skills to the test with the new Lynx. Just a quick recap of some of the information you might need to know:
  • The Lynx can be called using the ‘Jack Rabbit’ Predator caller, New Scent spray and E-Caller
  • The new call for the E-callers, is a one time purchase and will work on all your E-callers. The call can be selected when you activate the caller options, default key is ‘B’.
  • The Lynx is by design a very rare and elusive animal. They are always going to be in a spawn, but have low population numbers and are very jumpy.
  • This is done to give you a great sense of pride and achievement when you do bag one, as well as to mimic them in real life.
I would recommend as a community scouting the maps to find areas where there are Lynx tracks and sharing the information. As well as working out what hunting techniques are working. I have both stalk hunted them and stand hunted them with good results.

We will be opening up some threads as well as a competition once these go live, make sure to check the forums regularly

Summer Fiesta 2018



That sees the end of another great Summer Fiesta event. Congratulations to the winners of the Weightsaver Competition, I am sure the Golden .30R is a very nice trophy to have! Congratulations to everyone else who won the Season Comps, I know there was a lot of fierce competition. We had some enquiries about this year’s missions and I for one was interested to see the results:
  • 3,948 Players started the missions
  • 223 players completed the first mission pack
  • 210 players started the second pack and only 77 finished them
  • 76 players started the third pack and only 35 completed the last pack
So if you are one of these 35 players, congratulations and like I said at the start of the event, that is an achievement you can feel proud of! To celebrate, we have awarded you all with a nice little completion badge.



Looking at these results, we can see that the first two mission packs might have been a little challenging. Next year we will revise the packs and at least make the first two a little more achievable. Though in saying that… the missions are supposed to be a challenge!

This question will be answered by our Game Designer, Patrick, here is his reply!

“That is a ‘Wheely’ good question and the timing could not be better! We are actually currently working on a new form of transport in the game, sadly at this stage I cannot tell you more. But there will be more details coming out very soon, thanks for the question!”

Make sure to head over and let us know what you would like to know. A friendly bit of advice is to make sure they are questions, “I want to see X’ Is not a question and makes it hard for anyone to answer.

Known Issue(s)/Fixes
Projectiles not registering after 500m. A fix for this is currently being tested and we will release it to you as soon as it passes. We have to run checks for every single weapon in game, so it is taking a little longer than expected.

We are still working on the list and working out which ones are achievable to fix. Once we have a more solid list, we will let you know what you can expect in the near future.

A complete set of gear and double the experience – the League of Levelers aren’t the only group supporting valiant young adventurers! Starting Friday, 7th September at 4:00 PM until Monday, 10th September at 10:00 AM, the secretive League of Shard Twisters will reward you for leveling up.

If you manage to reach level 64 with a character during the event, you’ll get a complete set of Twistshard gear.

It doesn’t matter whether you use a completely new character or you’re already half-way to the level cap, you can collect the set once per account and class, irrespective of your level at the beginning of the event.

As if that weren’t enough, take advantage of double experience between 4 PM on Friday, 7th September until 10 AM on Monday, 10th September and quickly level towards that gear.
Get leveling and earn your epic equipment!

We’ve got a big update for you all today! Alongside additional FIX PUBG progress, we’re releasing the heavily requested Training Mode, the brand new MK47 Mutant, the already fan-favorite Tukshai vehicle for Sanhok, and the new Laser Sight attachment. On top of that, we’re introducing a brand new rewards system just for playing PUBG and completing missions, the reintroduction of an updated marker system, on-screen network information, and much more.   • MIC TEST UI/UX: Added the ability to test your MIC input within the game
Bug Fixes
  • UI/UX #02: Fixed the issue where, after connecting the XBOX controller to the PC, the drop-down menu would not appear to select the reason for reporting on the results screen.
  • CHARACTER POSITION #01: Fixed the issue where the position of the character who boarded a car is fixed at a very strange spot

New Feature: Training Mode

  • Added a Training Mode where you can practice all aspects of PUBG gameplay
  • The Training Mode map is 2x2 in size
  • You can join through matchmaking by clicking on the “Training Mode” button in the lobby.
    • When there are more than 5 players in the matchmaking queue, the session will start immediately. Players will continue to join open sessions for up to 5 minutes after they start. (Up to 20 per session)
    • If there are less than 5 players in the matchmaking queue, matchmaking will continue for 5 minutes
    • If there are still less than 5 players after 5 minutes, the session will start with the original number of players present and other players cannot join the session.
    • Total play time is 30 minutes (e.g. in case of number 2, where you immediately enter a session, you have 5 minutes where other players can join the session + regular training mode playing time of 25 minutes)
    • Players cannot drop below 1hp in Training mode

  • Several changes have been made to the Training Mode, based on player feedback received during the test server period.
    • Vehicle tires can no longer be damaged
    • Stun grenades and smoke grenades have been removed
    • Added more gas cans so players can drive for longer

    • Fixed an issue where the backpack was removed after parachuting

New Weapon: MK47 Mutant

  • Added a new AR weapon: the MK47 Mutant
  • MK47 Mutant can be acquired on all maps (Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok) through world spawn
  • MK47 Mutant is an AR weapon using 7.62mm bullets and has a 20 round capacity, which can be upgraded to 30 rounds with an extended magazine.
  • The Mutant has 2 firing modes: single shot and 2-round burst
  • Almost all types of attachments can be used with the MK47, but it has no stock slot
New Sanhok Exclusive Vehicle: Tukshai

  • Added a new vehicle that will be exclusive to the Sanhok map
  • The Tukshai is a 3 person vehicle that substitutes the UAZ, Dacia and Minibus
  • The Tukshai is slower compared to the previous vehicles, but fits perfectly with Sahnok’s environment
Supply System


  • Added the supply system which grants you a reward based on completed missions and play time
  • You can level up and get rewards when you fill the Survival gauge with survival XP
  • Missions will be refreshed daily and weekly.
  • You earn a reward every time you gain a survival level
Restructuring of the BP System
  • Previously, we offered BP rewards based only on your ranking. Now, we’ve restructured the system to take into account both play time and ranking.
  • Rewards have been restructured to equalize the differences in BP efficiency based on playing time for each Map and Mode.
  • We’ve changed team rewards to be shared
    • You will no longer receive 4 times the BP because you were playing alone in a squad game
Known Issue
  • When the language is set to Thai or Arabic, occasional frame drops can occur in certain situations. Our engineers are working to resolve this as soon as possible.
    • Setting the in-game language to English or another language is a temporary solution, while our team work to resolve this.

  • Added a new attachment: the Laser Sight
    • Bullet spread is reduced when hip firing and soft-aiming
    • The Laser Sight fits on weapons with a lower rail slot available, taking up the grip slot.
    • Currently, there is a known issue that the laser effect is not displayed in the death cam or replay. This issue will be resolved soon.

  • Added the improved Marker/Ping System first introduced for testing on the 8/1 test server update
    • Using ALT + Mouse wheel click, you can create a marker where you are aiming on the compass at the top of the screen (not visible in the world)
      • You may change the key bindings freely in options
  • All team members can see this marker on the compass
  • After setting the marker, there is a 2 second cooldown before you can mark again
  • The marker on the compass will automatically disappear after 5 seconds
  • When the ping markers overlap, the closest located marker will be shown on top.
  • Improved the visuals for blue zone effects
    • Bluezone effects are now shown more clearly.
      While the Bluezone is closing in, it will be easier to see from a longer distance than before
    • Bluezone effects looked differently depending on the map and weather. We’ve improved this so that the Bluezone effect is visually similar in all conditions.

  • Fixed an issue where HRTF was not working as intended.
  • Fixed the issue where maximum item amount was automatically input when splitting a stack.
  • Fixed the issue where the plane viewing angle was restricted.
  • Fixed the issue where players received a temporary item for reaching level 10 in the Supply Rewards system.
    • Previously, players would receive permanent rewards every 10 levels gained, but because players started on level 1, the first permanent reward would be awarded at level 11. This was pretty confusing, so we've changed this to instead give permanent rewards at level 10 and then every 10 additional levels from there.
      • Each player who is higher than level 2 in the Supply Reward system has also been granted an additional level up reward for any confusion caused by the original implementation.

Squids Odyssey - TheGameBakers
Hello,
In order to achieve world domination by cephalopods and because we always thought that the game belonged here, among other sweet RPGs, we're bringing our classic Squids Odyssey to Steam today. 

Different versions of the game have been enjoyed on different platforms by about two million players, but here we are bringing on Steam the deluxe version, with all content ever created and tons of improvements. Plus great controls on PC.

Squids Odyssey follows the adventures of a band of unlikely Squid heroes fighting back to save their underwater kingdom from a murky black ooze.

Advanced notice of a few major changes to the way the game is structured that are planned for the near future..

The first will be a trial switchover to an 'active employment' system - whereby workers will no longer be attached passively to a particular building, and will instead need to actively work buildings to collect wages - More details on this will follow closer to the time, .

Within the next few weeks I'll be removing the separate purchase of the Residence Permit and bundling that in with an initial purchase price for the game. In the near term, those of you who have got the game for free will still be allowed in, and the building restrictions for free players will be relaxed slightly. Those who have already purchased a Permit will gain extra benefits.

Thirdly, players who acquired government buildings during the startup phase will be served with 'Compulsory Purchase Orders', requiring the return of the building to government hands.

And finally, we'll be adding in some new rules regarding the manipulation of the economy through the creation of 'fake' player accounts. Please note that this is considered cheating and anyone found to be cheating in this way will risk removal from the main world and may be denied access to new worlds in the future..
