In tonight's patch we have my all time favorite gun in Hurtworld so far... the FR18. It fits into the mid game to serve as a long rang weapon that can be farmed entirely in the noob zone. It has much lower damage than the AWM, but makes up for it with high rate of fire, nice ironsights and cost effectiveness. I'm excited about this one.
Fragment Refactor This process ended up being a bigger job than we expected and decided to roll back most of the changes until next patch so we don't completely break the meta. We did a balance pass to remove the really rubbish fragments and buffed under powered ones, you should still find a more consistent range of fragments. More on these next patch.
New Town Events This patch introduces two new town events to replace some of the duplicates around the map. We will continue to replace these until they are all unique. We've tried to create some more open spaces in the events to give our longer range weapons some more PVP purpose.
See you out there :csgogun:

The AH-1G Cobra is a dedicated attack helicopter design, derived from the well-known UH-1 Huey, which primarily supported the combat actions of U.S. forces in the Vietnam War. Keep your head inside your hatch tankers, the Cobra is coming in hot with the release of War Thunder update 1.81!
Briefly: The Huey’s worthy successor in the gunship role, sporting excellent speed and handling characteristics in combination with deadly weaponry.
Parallel to the development of the UH-1 transport helicopter, Bell was actively conducting research on helicopter gunship designs. This resulted in the creation of the “Iroquois Warrior”, a mockup of a gunship design based on components from the UH-1B Huey. The mockup was presented to interested Army officials in June 1962, resulting in a proof-of-concept contract later that year. Following the contract award, Bell created the Model 207 “Sioux Scout”, which was evaluated by the Army in early 1964.
Be on the lookout for the arrival of the AH-1G Cobra to the skies of War Thunder with the release of the upcoming update 1.81. Be sure to also stay tuned to the news for more information regarding the next major update. Until then, safe flying pilots!
We are pleased to present you with a new location for aircraft battles: “Vietnam”, which will be available for all players with the release of the next War Thunder major update 1.81.
This location is based on the area in which the major "Nguyen Hue" military operation occurred during the Vietnam War.

The mega update is finally here! Firmament Wars has been upgraded with a highly optimized caching system to store game data. Expect gameplay to feel much smoother and faster than ever! Along with the redesign are some updates as well:
• Literally everything should feel faster and the game should scale better in terms of supporting more concurrent players. This is where the bulk of the work went in this patch! A big deal if you decided to tell all of your friends about how cool Firmament Wars is... • Friends lists are now stored locally on your computer. Your old friend list is gone. Sorry! It was for the best. Trust me. • Fixed a bug in team games with AI opponents that sometimes caused games to end prematurely. • Removed the GET troop bonuses from the game for reasons.
