A new update is live! We’ve managed to find and solve an issue which was significantly affecting the servers’ performance. The occasional lag spike should be noticeably lower – of course, the final results will only be visible on global servers, but our internal tests showed that its’ duration has been already reduced by 50%! Also, we’ll do further improvements in the very next few updates to increase the servers’ performance even more!
Moreover, we’ve just updated the calculations of shield durability loss – from now on, it’s not reduced by armor worn by a player. In effect, from now on shields will be equally effective regardless of what armor do you wear. Also, shields’ durability has been increased to work well with changes done to calculations.
What more? Numerous gameplay and balance improvements, fixes to reported bugs – for farming system, in particular – and updated model of the Champion’s Hood, which also received 12 skins!
And the last, but not least: last week, thanks to your awesome support, we have finally come back to positive reviews! It’s a great news for us all since games with positive reviews reach much more players on Steam, so it directly leads to increasing the playerbase. Thank you all!
And now, some Work in Progress insight! What can you expect in the nearest few weeks?
Siege engines
Yes – siege engines are coming soon! Do you remember those moments where you were skilled enough to defend a castle but then the enemies received a huge support, pushing you back and back? And how wonderful it would be to smash them with some fency ballista… Well, it’ll become real in the next few weeks – we’ll start with ballista!
Player-spawned Workshops & Crafting Update
Soon you will be able to place your own workshops in the world! At the same time, we’re working on improving the crafting gameplay in order to make it more attractive. There will be a new type of workshops for refining materials, where you put resources and set a production queue. Once it’s set, the production goes on, so you won’t have to stay at a workshop to process resources into materials. This change will make the Gloria Victis' realistic and in-depth crafting system more accessible for new players.
New quests
Brand new questline will come to the game soon! Get ready for an epic tale of Tenebrok, a city where entire population got executed by a mad ruler. Tale of ancestors who passed away in shame, deads waiting to be avenged and the ones who aim to rule over them. Stay tuned!
See you in battle!
Changelog v.0.8.6.4

Dear MUtizens, Our memories of playing a game would not be the same if we didn’t have the epic music in each one of our favourite games. Music is a part of a game’s personality, carved into our very gamer DNA and we can easily name a thrilling song from one MMORPG, ARPG, or MOBA that is still sending chills down our spine. Competitive, nostalgic, magic… video game OSTs all have one thing in common: To arouse our desire to dive into our favourite game just by hearing the very first note. The MU Legend OST is now available for free on Steam (Link).
You can now enjoy the lovely chants and ballads composed for MU Legend by the BAFTA award-winning composer Jesper Kyd (Assassin’s Creed series, Borderlands series, Hitman series, State of Decay series):

Thank you for your support for this game. We will continue to optimize and make the game more perfect.
We have released another content and balance update for Cosmonator!
We have softened the reward handicap curve even further, really opening up the positive flow of character progression. This is especially apparent late-game, but also noticable in general. This will hopefully minimise grind. However, to ensure that the game does not simply become an easy playthrough as a result of this, we have also made some of the later levels slightly more difficult - in particular on the higher difficulties (Hardcore and Impossible). So, you'll earn much more money (less handicap), but you'll really have to spend it wisely. This also means that it's possible (and easier) to rank even higher later on in the game. But be warned: if you pick up an existing profile now, and play an episode 4 level, it might be slightly harder than it was before the update.
Please enjoy!

Continued Reward / Rank positive improvement; even less reward handicap, especially for later ranks.
Later levels made slightly more difficult, overall, to contend with the more positive character progression.
Sell allowance tweaked; sell system GUI polished.
Overall spellcasting nerfed slightly (both charges and energy efficiency).
Visual improvements on some effects, spells and explosions.
Energy Syphon nerfed but made level 2 spell (not 3); this makes Energy Master slightly more versatile.

FIXES
The following has been fixed. • Improvements to Vehicle collision between Players and Ai (test server only). • Players are no longer able to vault through Ballistic glass windows (or any window). • Vehicle net code improvements (test server only). • PDA map. Correct marker type will now be displayed when switching from alliance marker to personal marker. • Fix for how Demolition charge and HESH grenade damage is calculated. o This fix should make base raiding less – Destroy everything because it’s easy. o Further adjustments to the base raiding system will be implemented in the coming weeks.. o This is not a fix for the damage modifiers as previously discussed on Discord with user Styx. That fix is coming soon.
CHANGES
The following has been adjusted or changed. • We have changed the way the highlight shader works for devices. • Only NPC devices that are interactable will glow, player devices will no longer glow.
Known issues
These are issues found in testing that we are aware of and will be fixed in subsequent patches. • There is a possibility that when using the Research centre to decrypt schematics that a noticeable delay happens when switching from decrypt to download. We are aware of this issue and investigating the why this delay can occur. • It is advised that once you have decrypted a schematic to not remove it machine before having downloaded it as you will lose your flops. • You do not have to stand looking at the device, you can leave the device, go loot and come back. This is mechanically correct. • We plan to change the point at which flops are removed from the player (during download, not decrypt). This will come soon.
