Are you ready for the new Champion Challenges? From Friday, 17th August (16:00 CET) until Sunday, 19th August (23:59 CET) you can look forward to new dungeon challenges for reaping rewards.

Event details:

Mastering a challenge requires you to successfully complete dungeons during the event. You can view your current challenges by clicking on the little Elin button while the event is active. Each time you defeat the final boss of the dungeon, you will make some progress in the respective challenge.

1) Fixed a bug with the button for changing BG composition not working in the operational phase.
2) Changed the icon for restarting the operation in the main menu.
3) Disabled creation of some empty log files.
4) Added icons for indication of frosty and windy weather in the operational phase of the game.

6) Corrected the Active defense mission.
7) Modified the algorithm of transmission and execution of a target designation. Added transmission of the target priority status from an observer to a weapon.

10) Fire at the ground order requires connection with the commander conducting fire adjustment.
11) Display of the command hierarchy can be turned on in the deployment phase.
12) Low level of ammunition is indicated for the ammunition of vehicles and heavy weapons, and not for the total number (for units with combat-ready vehicles and heavy weapons).
13) Added a new tools and destructible chassis to the Stuart tank.
14) Added winter camouflage for the Stuart tank.
15) Fixed a bug with an incorrect posture of artillery gun crews when towed by a tank.

Today's update brings new improvements to the game.

Full Screen -mode:
You can choose from 4 different screen size: 320x240, 640x480, 800x600 and Full Screen! (New!). Full Screen mode is still experimental and it is possible that while playing in full screen mode, you might not see incredible graphics frames which appear when you or opponent team made a goal.

Menu bar
You can now easily adjust game settings from the menu bar (Pause, FullScreen etc).

Beat Hazard 2 now warns you about the mass of an incoming boss.

4,000 kilotons is sort of middle sized!

This version I've streamlined the HUD so it's easier to read, I've also Reworked the switch weapon system so whenever a gun runs out of ammo it will try to switch to the next best weapon.

Fixed some language version system's game crashing error caused by decimal separator.

Only several hours left before the start of the first Blazing Core Tournament!
Gather a team, sign up at google form and join the battle for victory.

Our veteran players have already noticed a new game mode in the “Battle” tab — “Tournament”. To access it your team needs to register for the tournament. This is also where you’ll be able to find your opponents.

What to do:
1. Launch the game at least once before the tournament. You will only need to enter the Hangar, nothing more. That is to let us find you and add you to your team.
2. You and two of your allies need to add each other to the friends list in Steam. Otherwise, you won’t be able to form a party inside the game. Important: you can’t add friends in Steam if your account has no games.
3. Launch the game and form a party.
4. Wait for the tournament to start and choose the “Tournament” game mode.
5. Battle!

The matches will last from 17:00 to 19:00 (UTC). The teams will fight each other for two hours. We have chosen a simple scoring system for the first tournament. Each win will net you 3 points, each loss — 1 point.
The points earnt by your team are added up at the end of the matches. The team that gained the most points wins the tournament.


In case there is a tie, we will use additional stats: personal encounters, the number of rounds won, etc. We will do it ourselves, all you need to do is play and have fun.
