For a limited-time, you can play in Lab world where you can experience different concepts and try out new systems! This is a hardcore game style where your character's level and stats reset after death.

To begin, select “Lab” as your world and create a character! You can create one (only one!) Explorer-class character, who will begin at Lv. 10 in Henesys. Speak with Job Instructor Dr. Bebe to choose your first job. Note that no medal is given upon job advancement. Advancing is reward enough!

As you explore Lab world, you will run into powerful monsters. All monsters have twice as much HP and their stats are five times stronger than on regular worlds.

If your character dies, they revert to a Lv. 10 Beginner, and Ability Points, Skill Points, Hit Points, and Mana Points will be reset. The character will respawn back in Henesys. Dying isn’t all bad though, as you will have a chance to receive a special skill!

Please Stop Dying: Skill. Master Level 100. Monster Weapon DEF ignored when attacking (2+ skill level %), and Weapon ATT/Magic ATT increased (20 x skill level). This skill can be learned twice a day.

Potions have a 10-second cooldown applied to them, so you can’t escape death by spamming your potion button! However, the Enhancement Scroll count for all items is set high, at 255, so you’ll be able to enhance your items to their very best.

To help with all of this hunting and dying, we will also be running a 2x EXP & Drop event on Lab world for the entire duration! Power through your level-ups!

Note that gift boxes obtained on the Lab server will be deleted after the Lab server is closed, so think carefully about which items you want to claim! The Lab server selection button may also not appear upon first login. If this happens, select a NA server and go to the character select screen, then go back to the server menu. The button for Lab server should appear.

Quests and Missions

Complete some basic quests to gain easy rewards, including Lab Server Coins which can be redeemed for useful items from the coin shop. Some rewards will not be granted until after the Lab server ends. You can also send rewards earned in the Lab server to characters in other worlds; select which world you’d like the rewards to be sent to by accessing the quest ‘[Lab Server] Please select a server to receive your reward.’

[Lab Server] A More Exciting MapleStory!: Can be completed as soon as you log in, once per day. Be rewarded with:
- 3x EXP Coupon (x3): Grants 3x EXP for 30 minutes. Can be used until
- midnight of that day.

[Lab Server] The Dime a Dozen Quest: Hunt 500 monsters within your level range (20 levels below and 20 levels above. Can be completed three times per day.
- Complete 1st round and be rewarded with Power Elixir (x5)
- Complete 2nd round before Lv. 200 and be rewarded with Storm Growth Potion (1 Day) (x3)
- Complete 2nd round after Lv. 200 and be rewarded with Lab Server Coin (x3)
- Complete 3rd round and be rewarded with Lab Server Coin (x5)

- Lab Server Pioneer Medal: STR/DEX/INT/LUK +7, MaxHP/MaxMP +500, Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +7. This item will be sent to the world you select, after the Lab server event ends.

As you level up, you'll receive a quest that will grant you a reward for hitting each milestone:

You can also take part in two additional quests that will become available after you've reached Lv. 150. After receiving the Lv. 150 rewards, your character must die and reset to Lv. 10. You'll then be granted access to two new quests. You must accept these quests while still Lv. 10. If you level up at all, these quests will become inaccessible.

Legion Blocks

Receive Legion blocks to use in the Maple Legion with your characters from other worlds. These will be sent to the world you select, after the Lab server event ends.

Legion Block Details:

The level of the Legion Block is based off the maximum level your character reaches in Lab Server.
- At Lv. 60: Grants Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +5
- At Lv. 100: Grants Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +10
- At Lv. 140: Grants Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +15
- At Lv. 150: Grants Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +20
- At Lv. 250: Grants Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +25

Enhanced Legion Block Details:

The level of the Enhanced Legion Block is based off the maximum level your character reaches in Lab Server.
- At Lv. 60: Grants Weapon ATT/Magic ATT +7

Important Info

While the Cash Shop is present, some items are unavailable: Maple Point Coupon, Safety Charm, Safety Gem, Respawn Token, Respawn Pass, Extra Character Slot Coupon, Leveling Packages, and Buff Freezer. All NX used in the Lab Cash Shop will be refunded to the player as Maple Points (MP) after the end of the event. MP will be refunded to only one region (NA or EU) of the player's choice. All MP used in the Lab Cash Shop will not be returned to the player. All Maple Reward Points used in the Lab Cash Shop will not be returned to the player.

Please be aware that all reward boxes will also be available in Lab server. Since reward boxes can only be claimed once per account, please be sure to claim your reward boxes on your desired server.
