Conan Exiles - Jens Erik (Community Manager)


Dear exiles

In the Imperial East Pack we looked eastward and brought architectural styles, weapons and armor from the land of Khitai back with us to the Exiled Lands. For our second DLC we're journeying westwards, to the powerful kingdom of Aquilonia, where Conan himself is destined to one day lead a rebellion and become king.

This DLC will be available for purchase in early August.



Much like its predecessor, the Jewel of the West Pack will add a slew of new content to Conan Exiles. Build exclusive new houses and settlements with a complete set of Aquilonian building pieces. Build with building pieces sheathed in smooth marble to give your structures a grandiose look only matched by those found in the great western jewel itself.




New placeables like great statues, clay braziers and soft, silken divans will bring the spirit of Aquilonia's bath houses and merchant palaces into your homes in the Exiled Lands.



Don three new armors inspired by Aquilonia's soldiers and wield fierce weapons like the lion-headed Aquilonian Mace or crush your enemies' skulls using the Aquilonian Warhammer.

Jewel of the West Pack contains: 
  • 39 new Aquilonian building pieces: A full set of building pieces with the same stats as existing tier three.
  • 15 new armor pieces in three sets, such as the Black Dragon armor: Light, medium and heavy sets with an epic end-game version of each.
  • 9 new weapons in one Aquilonian weapon set: Same power as iron weapons with an epic end-game version of each weapon.
  • 5 new Aquilonian warpaints: Decorative warpaints symbolizing, for example, rule and bravery.
  • 25 new placeables, such as the harp and councilor chair, craftable in the Aquilonian Artisan station.

All the new content from Aquilonia is exclusive to this DLC. The new items do not give any in-game advantage in power, as all items have comparable stats to existing items.

Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?! - Daylight Studios


Hey Spudlings!

As you can see, we’ve spiced up the animations for the mission control. Here are other animations for different actions!



Other than switching up the animation, we’ve also uploaded more expressions so you’ll be able to keep track of your spies’ progress in missions or in training centres. It’s pretty cute, if I do say so myself - though Spyderman’s eyes shouldn’t be able to narrow like that.



Though the game’s really coming together, we’ve also been discussing how to keep things hyped up for players - A Spy Story?! is more strategic in nature, and has a unique Holy Potatoes! take on the spy genre. Hence, the first few minutes of gameplay may be quite contrary to expectations of the genre.

One way we’ve tried is to introduce an interesting cast (as you’ve seen, Souper Maria and Spyderman) instead of regular randomnised spies. Another would be the ability to plan and shape your own spy agency.

We’ve still got a month or so, so let’s try our best!

On a separate note, we’re finally able to announce that HPAWS will be officially released on PS4 and Nintendo Switch on 10 and 12 July respectively! Just in case you missed the announcement ;)

Game Dev Studio - sрy
Hello! For the past 2 weeks I've been working on adding Steam Workshop support to Game Dev Studio, and I'm happy to let you guys know that the biggest technical side of it is finished. What remains is more UI work, making sure that everything works as intended, and documenting the game as best I can, so that people interested in making mods for it can make the best use of all the systems available.

With that said, I'm sure that the big question a lot of people have is:

What can be modded?

The answer to which is: everything! You can make any mod you wish, and if you know what you're doing, you could go as far as to make a mod which would allow you to go into a rival studio office and shoot everyone there. (this sounds a little bit weird now that I type this out)

The game, as I'm sure most of you know, uses LÖVE2D. The game was written in Lua, and as such any part of it can be easily changed, or added on top of.
I will provide more details on the modding documentation, as well as instructions on how to upload your mods to the Steam Workshop for Game Dev Studio once the update has been released.

Hello there, Heroes and Merchants!

We believe that a good adventure always requires a little bit of old-fashioned planning and - obviously - a map! A map that will lead you to your goal. Is there a treasure waiting at the end of the road? Perhaps a princess or a prince? A golden armor for your horse? You do you, we won’t judge - but we have prepared something else and very special: Moonlighter Development Roadmap for 2018!

Feedback that we have received from you so far has been - yes, pretty overwhelming - but also: beyond amazing! You guys have some crazy good ideas and guess what - we have some as well! And you know what always works best? Cooperation! So, we’ve collected your feedback and we have incorporated it into our development plan. Therefore, after many internal discussions, hours of research and drinking non-alcoholic beverages - we proudly present you Moonlighter Development Roadmap 2018:

Excited? So we share that feeling! Let us give you a little bit more information about each milestone from the Roadmap. Not everything, though - we like to keep some secrets. Oh, and this should go without saying - but all the updates that you see on this Roadmap are going to be totally free! Still waiting for the full confirmation - the Winter DLC is supposed to be paid DLC so we have to be careful with wording.

More Stock Update

Our first update will add more than 50 new rooms distributed all over the four dungeons, making a total of almost 600 room patterns available! It’s also going to improve the look of armors and enchanted items, plus we plan to add some additional small help/tutorials to explain different shop upgrades better.

Adventure Update

New Game+ lets players start the whole game again with increased difficulty level. This update will also bring brand new Dimensional Weapons and Amulets, equipment based on some mysterious technology.

Companion Update

Feeling lonely in the Dungeons? Worry no more! Choose a companion and bring it with you on the adventure! Each companion will be a little bit different, offering various skill sets and looks. On top of that we’re going to introduce the Custom Game: a set of options that will allow you to to modify some game parameters to create diverse experiences.

Trouble Update

Put your skills to the test by battling some brand new mini bosses! We’re not going to tell you anything more about them - ‘cause we want those enemies to surprise (and brutally defeat) you during your adventures. Yup, we are mean like that sometimes. We are also going to add some new Item Effects - boosting game’s variety. This update should arrive somewhen around Halloween - so we’re hoping to bring you some spoOOoky stuff, too!

That should cover the basics! However, as said before - we don’t want to spoil everything - so we can keep you on the edge of the chair while you wait for upcoming content! And yes - we have more updates planned for 2019!

The following updates have been implemented:

Fixed a serious bug with the Shaman's curse of horse poop.
It was impossible to continue in the game if more players was cursed or you was the last player.

Added NEW Arcade mode for 1-2 players.
Enjoy the Arcade stages with your friend!

Added Xbox360 thumbstick support for the "outlaw chase" stage.

Fixed bug with the Trees in the "Old Mine" action stage.
One of the two trees had no "health" points.

Fixed some bugs in the text. "wll" > "will" etc.

Fixed some graphical glitches.

Added NEW Achievement "Mulder"
Try to find the Alien Corpse at the end of the game.

Added NEW TNT Exploding Barrels to the arcade stages.

Added NEW Power-Up "Cow Horn".
A very useful thing that allows you to summon a great Cattle Stampede.

Added the W,A,S,D and J,K,L keys as the next option to control the game.

Holy crap, I can't believe you actually managed to escape that abomination. I told you that you really need to be careful while talking to those demonic bastards, didn't I? Man, don't apologize, just be more careful next time or you may end up haunting this place with the rest of them!

I mentioned the experience points earlier, but we didn't have time to get deeper into that matter while we were being chased. Anyway, all the evidence of the paranormal activities which you’ve gathered throughout your stay at Green Creek are awarded points. The experience points collected during the gameplay are crucial in achieving success in Apparition. In fact, they serve as a kind of currency in the local stores. Buying new equipment will allow you to document apparitions more efficiently and will open up new, unexplored places in Green Creek. Every visit to this haunted and forsaken place makes for a new adventure... if you can call being chased by hellish creatures and barely escaping with your life an adventure.
