Yes, we asked the question to ourselves. We allowed each team member to respond to the question. After that we had a healthy discussion and the result is... Don't Bleed is a "Melee Escape" Game, not a battle royale, not a first person shooter, not a rip off of any of the other games out.
Okay, I'm going to give you all some secrets about the game, find the flare gun as fast as possible, get a few filters (so you can breath), tactically setup the other players, avoid Leechers, beware of the traps so pay attention to where you are going!!! Now you can't say, I didn't help you!
That's right, June 16th is Space Invaders Day, commemorating the day when that classic game was first active in arcades 40 years ago. And to celebrate it, there's a free demo (play the first two stages!) out today, a discount available for the game and two score contests with prizes to be won!

Endless Dungeon Mode
That’s right. This new adventure entitled Hildebrant’s Cellar lets you fight down through the depths of your favourite realm agent’s house. See how far you can get until your inevitable demise. Fight a plethora of enemies, avoid traps, mimics, and smash doors. All the things you know and love (or know, anyways… re:mimics) from exploring and conquering dungeons and caves in our other adventures.

House Rules
We understand that there are those out there who want a more casual experience. We also understand there are some masochists who want to make it even harder… With that in mind: we added a few toggles to the create game screen to permit both preferences.
It should be pretty self explanatory, but let me explain it anyways.
Chaos frequency will increase or decrease the number of rounds between when Chaos is set to increment. Assuming, of course, that the game mode has Chaos in it.
Life Pool will let you increase, or decrease the starting lives. To be clear: this does not change the amount of lives you’ll find in your adventures. And as always: there is no cap to how many you can gather.
Economy Inflation Oh, don’t lie: you skipped right to this one, didn’t you!? This will permit you to adjust the percentage increase of inflating items over time. This does not change base prices of items, and does not change starting gold, gold drops, or item drops in any way. It’s only the inflation of the small set of items that naturally inflate in price over time.
Using house rules does come with some caveats, however. Namely that if the game is made easier, then the final achievements for beating Vexor on Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master are not available. These remain locked behind the requirement that you beat the game on the default difficulty settings (or harder). But that’s it! We want to make the game fun for everyone, but we also need to make it fair for those who worked so hard to get those achievements.
Character Stat Overview
This one is a great quality of life feature that was inspired by none other than Senerio himself (who runs the Discord server). You can now get a full breakdown of all stats, effects, bonus’, ailments etc on a given character. We’ve replaced the functionality of the Toggle Stats button on the character hud to now open this beauty:
Everything is dynamically generated, and even tool-tipped!
On top of these great new things, we’ve got fixes and improvements as always. We’ll have full patch notes on the day we deliver.

This week we worked on polishing and finishing up controller support, bringing in a new game mode: Endless, publishing the soundtrack, special seeds, and a handful of new relics.
Controller Support
It's out of beta! Currently, support is limited to PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One controllers on the PC. To use a controller, just start the game with a controller plugged in.
Endless Mode (Beta)
We're testing a game mode in the Beta branch: Endless! A lot of changes, bug fixes, and content are still planned so stay tuned!
Soundtrack
The official soundtrack is finally here! All of these tracks were created by Clark Aboud and the soundtrack contains all songs (plus a few extras) as 320kbps MP3s. If you want to know more, visit the Soundtrack page!
Special Seeds
Special runs can be played by entering specific seeds! Ever wanted to play a random daily run? Play Slay the Spire in Draft mode? Do you just want to be one with Snecko? Now you can, and more! All of your dreams will come true, yada yada. A special UI and menu will probably be created if this turns out to be high demand.
We added special runs that you can play by entering specific seeds:
RAND0MM0DS or DAILYM0DS will let you do new daily-style runs.
DRAFT will activate the draft daily mod.
MEGADRAFT will activate Diverse and Draft daily mods. Letting you draft from every characters' cards.
FADEAWAY activates Night Terrors and Terminal. Can you beat the game before running out of HP?
PRAISESNECK0 Will replace your starting relic with Snecko Eye.
Y0URET00SL0W Will activate the Time Dilation daily mod, giving all enemies Slow.
STARTERDECK Will give you Busted Crown and Binary (Meaning enemies drop 0 cards. Can you win with the starter deck??)
INCEPTI0N Start with Unceasing Top _(it's a dream come true!)_
MYTRUEFORM You're a Demon! You're a Wraith! You Echo... echo echo. Start with one of each 'Form' card.

Another weekend, another Weekend Course Boost! What is a Weekend Course Boost? It’s an event where you’ll receive bonus EXP and Gold just by playing on a specific course!

Last nights patch introduced a new bug to the world of Archos. Right now, if you try and combine a stack of 50 and 90 wood, it will create a stack of 100 and delete the other 40 wood. Please be careful of this issue. We're actively investigating what is causing this and as soon as we have more information on what's going on, we'll be sure to let everyone know.
After barely escaping through the Molten Gateway, our survivors plummet headfirst into the ruins of a sickly city ruled by a ravenous beast. Work together to cook fine dishes and placate the Eternal Gnaw's hunger to avoid the curse of its terrible plague. Cook well enough, and you may even get to go home.
The Gorge is a free limited time 3-player co-op challenge with tons of new skins, emotes, items and more. Your goal is to cook and offer food on the Altar of Gnaw, but you'll need all the cooks in the kitchen to keep it fed, so work together to survive!
The Gorge begins June 14th and ends July 9th. Console will be coming just a short while after, we'll have details on a more concrete date soon.

What is The Gorge? The Gorge is a new limited time event that we are creating for Don’t Starve Together. During this time players can earn event themed skins and rewards that are only dropped during the event.
Yeah, but WHAT is The Gorge? The Gorge is a free limited time 3-player co-op challenge with tons of new skins, emotes, items and more. Your goal is to cook and offer food on the Altar of Gnaw, but you'll need all the cooks in the kitchen to keep it fed, so work together to survive!
The Gorge is played on official Klei servers that are available only during the event. There are no community hosted servers during this event.

If I play the regular game during the event, can I still earn skins? You can. However, with one big difference. All common drops will now reward an event chest that contains Gorge event items. Regular common items will return after the event.
Is The Gorge free? Yes! Events are free for everyone who owns DST. Players will have the option to purchase a single character’s Victorian Skin Set for $2.99, or the entire Victorian Skin Set collection for $12.99. We also have a new chest full of 7 awesome Gorge themed items available for $9.99. You can purchase the entire set as a bundle for $19.99. Of course you can always earn these items in the game, or craft them.
We hope that with this mechanism, we can both continue creating great free content while also supporting the development team. In addition, this method of funding allows us to provide content to all our players, instead of splitting the player community if we implemented it with a DLC paywall.
When does the Gorge end? The Gorge will last a little over 3 weeks from the time it launches and we ending July 9th.
