A bit of housekeeping: as some of you may have noticed, the Alpha has been pushed back. The alpha will still be happening, and all previous registrations are still valid.
Our website satisfactorygame.com has also been updated! You’ll also find an FAQ there which contains some extra information that wasn’t revealed in the trailer.
Lastly, please consider following Satisfactory on social media or joining to keep up to date with any info we release.
We do see some questions frequently, so we wanted to make a list of frequently asked questions to address as many of these as possible.
What are the differences between the classes?
Each class has a unique passive bonus, movement ability, and 4 special abilities. Additionally each class can craft a unique weapon at the forge.
How does deploying work?
You’ll begin the game on the starter island waiting for players to load in. Soon after, everyone will be put in a zeppelin that travels across the map. When you decide where you want to go, press your spacebar to drop out and begin freefalling. Pro tip! Use your movement keys and mouse to control your fall-- looking towards the horizon allows you to travel farther!
How do I travel around the map?
The Realm is vast, but luckily you have a trusty mount to move faster. Press Z to summon your mount when outside.
How do I gear up?
Throughout the map are three different kinds of chests. The basic chest contains armor, weapons, and abilities. The potion chest will supply you with potions that restore your health or armor, and weapon chests will exclusively drop weapons. When you find items you won’t use you can disenchant them to acquire shards.
What about the chickens?
When you drop an opponent’s health to zero they aren’t immediately eliminated. Instead, they become a harmless chicken. Don’t wait too long to destroy the chicken, as they’ll soon return to life with all their gear intact. When defeated, chickens will drop all of their items, including their Chicken Trophy.
How do I use the forge?
Shards can be used at the forge to craft the most powerful items. If you’re low on potions, you can craft more to refill your stock. To become more powerful you can craft legendary armor, abilities, and weapons. Each class has a powerful legendary weapon, to craft that you’ll need a Chicken Trophy as well as shards.
How does the ranking system work?
Ranking is based on your placement in your top 50 matches (even if you haven't played 50 matches, you will still receive a rank based on your placement in all of your matches).
You can only work your way up the ranks by placing higher and higher in matches, and cannot fall over time. The highest rank is therefore achieved by earning 50 wins.
Once you have played 50 wins, the game will also track the total number of eliminations you have made within your top 50 games.
How do I report players?
Players can be reported in-game once you have been defeated in a match. Reports should be limited to instances of rule breaking, including cheating, teaming (working with other squads, offering those players an unfair advantage), or harassment.
When will Realm Royale come to console?
We will have more announcements regarding Realm Royale on console later this year!
So, we’ve skipped an awful lot and we apologise for that. In our defense, we’re just a couple of teens who happen to be passionate enough about the game to receive moderator rights to continue keeping this game active (yep, we’re not hopoo, sorry to disappoint). We’ve still got all the life problems like finals and all that taking most of our time, so we couldn’t bring ourselves to get to work on MotWs. Not during that period of time, at least.
But now we’re back in action, hopefully with no breaks like this in the future.
To make up for it, we decided to pick a series of maps rather than one level.
This week’s… Series of the Week(?) Is “Warehouse” by Olyethan, which consists of 5 levels in total, so strap in ‘cause this is gonna be a long one.
This time, the player’s goal is to shut down an ash warehouse. In order to do so, the player has to infiltrate and scout the area, deal with some obstacles along the way and, of course, burn the warehouse to the ground. Or, at least start a few fires. The chain reaction should finish the job.
Our first objective is to infiltrate the warehouse itself – going straight in won’t do, so the Reaper decides to take the sneaky option, through the sewers. This stage is quite linear and pretty simple, so after reaching the opposite side of the tunnel you can go up an elevator and proceed towards the warehouse.
The second stage gets a little more interesting – we get to snoop around an apartment block, located close by to our primary target. Apparently, the warehouse is protected from both sides by gates set up at the apartment blocks, and a Maiden on the roof holds the only keycard for those gates, so we need to relieve her of that before we can proceed.
Out of things to commend here, I would pick the well-detailed interiors and the piping system’s layout, which opens up a small window for flanking the enemies or simply moving through the level quickly.
Just as we’re about to head for the gates, we’re fired upon by a sniper and forced to retreat in order to deal with them – this is where the third stage comes in.
There’s a nearby construction site with a good sightline on the sniper’s nest. It’s occupied by a large group of zombies, which you and a pair of candle snipers will need to deal with before you can eliminate the sniper. Once again, this level’s decoration is top-notch, with great half-built walls and a convincing construction crane.
With the sniper dealt with, we finally get to the warehouse. In order to shut it down, we have set fire to a few large piles of ash, which should spread to the rest of the drugs stored inside. Fight through a small building and a few doors, set the fires, and get out before it burns down with you still inside.
In the final portion of the level, the Reaper finds his car stolen, which he needs to get back to. I just had to include this part because of this sick-looking set of stairs.
Overall, it’s a great series of levels with incredibly detailed environments and fun gameplay in mind, even if the maps are mostly linear. I’ve had a lot of fun and honestly wanted to include it in a MotW at some point, but never quite got the chance until now.
Also, you may be wondering, “This series was uploaded ages ago, how come it’s showing up on Map of the Week now?” Well as it turns out, MotW wasn’t just a weekly contest for the best map, but was instead a spotlight on whatever maps Hopoo found interesting, regardless of release date. So, we’ve decided to go back to this older format, starting with the Warehouse series!
This way, we’re less limited with our choices, and you don’t need to worry if your map was overshadowed by Sockpuppet by another map. Now, you’re always in the running for MotW!

This week's content drop we're bringing you two new Recruitable NPCs for the Frozen and Volcanic biomes respectively: The Yeti Crab and The Tiki Golem! These stocky fellas will replace the regular ol' bots you could find on sale previously in these biomes, so now all biomes should be fitted with proper recruits!
In other news, this drop is also coming with a few small tweaks and fixes based on the responses we've gotten on the new update. Here are those changes:
- All Sub Upgrades' effects have been DOUBLED now that they are more difficult to aquire. Upgrades are now more valuable and useful all around!
- Fixed Elixirs' effect text not displaying correctly.
- Acid Mod for Ammo now has new visuals and has a wider radius of effect and lasts longer before dissapating.
- Upgrades should be showing in front of players' as to not get accidentally hidden behind scenery.
- Increased base health of Recruits from 10 to 15 for better survivability.
EDIT: I've also uploaded the new Recruit assets to the Wiki Materials Folder for you Wiki Editors (aka mostly ADcrafter), just FYI!
