Survivors, it's our great pleasure to announce that Rules of Survival (PC Version) is available on Steam today!

Rules of Survival is an action-packed Battle Royale game. Up to 300 unarmed players parachute into a vast battleground, where they must fight to be the last alive. In this game, you could either fight alone or form a small team of up to 5 players. Snatch weapons, arm yourself to the teeth, gather your wits and loot gear from the unlucky. But don't forget! The safe zone is constantly shrinking. You are in a cutthroat race against poisonous gas, enemies, and ultimately, death.

The Steam version offers the same experience as the existing PC version, players can enjoy the same combat, environments and tense action! A new server has been specially opened for the Steam version, thus, the game data of the Steam and PC versions are not transparent.

We have also prepared special gifts for all players who purchase the Steam version of Rules of Survival, including a Butler Set and a Monthly Pass (Grants daily bonus diamond rewards during the first month), which normally costs 28.99 US dollars in the in-game shop.




For players who wish to play Rules of Survival on PC for free, you are welcome to go to our website and download the official PC version, which is free to play but does not include the special gifts.

Off the back of our MASSIVE two new levels, we've made some extra exciting patch notes to fix a few issues and improve on some of the experience of Paperville.

- Welcome to Decapitation Station. Go on. Cut a head off.
- AI Updates in Open Town
- Achievement bug fixes.
- Bug fix that resolves an issue where a second mission enemy could become completely indestructible.
- Lighting improvements in Hub World
- Navigation issues in open town fixed.
- Some strange audio issues have been resolved

Hello Survivors,

The maintenance will perform soon to make better gaming environment.
We hope that the upcoming update makes your gaming experience even more pleasant and fun.

These are below, going to be improved this time.

Bug Fix
- Fixed a bug that able to view crosshair while zooming with the scope.
- An issue of crosshair-type not being applied is solved.
- Fixed that collision of the merge-actor container.
- An issue of vehicles physical synchronization is solved.
- Raised the Z scale for foliage.
- fixed the collision for the ad board.
- The muzzle of the gun has reworked to a matte.
- Landscape material and assets production and optimization.
- While holding a Molotov, up and down shaky animation value has reduced.
- When crouched down while zooming and released it, the gun mash was unable to see, but now it has fixed.
- Grass tone revision.
- Auto exposure revision.
- The camera view used for falling from the airship and getting on the vehicle have fixed.

The following issues have been recently reported:

1) Lag in [SA] Silute

- [SA] Silute players have reported experiencing an increase in lag occurrences after the latest update of May 29, 2018, namely in the region of Sausys Room 9. Upon investigating the source of the issue, we have concluded that it was caused by the addition of new content during the update, which affected unrelated maps as well.

We expect to increase the number of channels and rearrange them during the scheduled maintenance of June 5, 2018, in order to promote stable gameplay in the affected maps.

Added Japanese Localization

New Additions
  • Added functional structure, Grinder. It allows you to disintegrate rock block into flint; it also allows you to get some resources back from crafted equipment and items
  • Added functional structure, Fireplace. It keeps you warm. House with fireplace is able to keep its interior from cold temperature, and players are able to craft it at lower levels
  • Added entertainment item, War Drum. It is a playable instrument that plays five different types of drumming
Adjustments
  • Modified Elemental Spirit's model and animations
  • Adjust the icons for items in electrolytic tank inventory to allow clearer display
  • Fixed model issues with centaurs. Their arms should no longer float.
  • Remove Scuba Gear's durability loss
Fixes
  • Fixed an issue with Ballista Turret not being able to fire
  • Fixed an issue with Catapult Turret not being able to fire
  • Fixed an issue with floating platform saddles from dead creatures responding to whistle commands.

大家好,我是《创史者Hist Maker》现阶段的制作人,老冯,目前是大四在读。为了让大家对本游戏有更多了解,在此用FAQ的形式向大家做以介绍~
Q:你这个《创史者》到底是个什么样的游戏啊?
A:《创史者Hist Maker》从功能上讲,是一款历史教育类游戏;从玩法内容上讲,是一款元素合成类解谜闯关游戏。核心玩法流程就是通过尝试组合游戏中现有的元素,得到越来越多的各种元素,最终达成通关目标。所谓“元素合成”则类似“人”和“石头”元素组合可以合成“石器”,而“石器”又可能可以和其他元素合成新的元素,等等。要通关的话也需要玩家自己去开发脑洞、探索,同时思考、解谜。

Q:人和石头生成石器什么的,感觉也很简单嘛,所谓“历史教育”又怎么体现呢?
A:虽然前期关卡大多合成公式都是这种简单并且通过常识就可以接触的。但是随着关卡的推进,你甚至需要去得到古埃及战士“美尼斯”或是古巴比伦的“汉谟拉比法典”,甚至是中国上古君王颛顼的功绩。所以玩家通过元素合成在关卡中探索可以学到知识,另一方面,过关期间每个公式、成就都会存在不少相关知识介绍,有兴趣的玩家也可以进一步了解相关历史知识。

Q:听你描述又是埃及又是巴比伦的,你的游戏规模有多大啊?
A:由于本人也只是在毕设阶段进行开发,所以目前包括教学关卡总共只有6关,除教学关外则是四大文明古国中,古中国分为“三皇时代”和“五帝时代”两关,其他三个文明各一关。除教学关外,每一关的独立解谜通关时间大概在10~20分钟,全公式探索大概要再花5~10分钟。

Q:好吧,听你说了这么多,那你说的帮忙请求是什么啊。
A:就是这个游戏中内置了问卷,问卷的结果将会是老冯毕业论文的分析内容。所以恳请大家除了试玩游戏,务必帮忙填写一下问卷。首先希望大家先填写“初见问卷”,随后每一个关卡对应一个问卷,只有通关该关卡之后才能填写。还有一些注意事项诸如“一份问卷只能提交一次”、“有些问题存在正确答案,答错将会影响得到的点数,选择不知道则会获得少量点数”等等都会出现在问卷上方,仔细读一读没有坏处……(友情提示,对于游戏中出现的解释、成就百科等文字内容多加关注可以提高答问卷中获得的点数哦)

Q:额,我玩了一下,卡关了
A:毕竟作为一款以教育也就是传授知识为目的的游戏,涉及到玩家的知识盲区也在所难免。这个时候请不要羞于点击“请求提示”,因为提示目标元素并不用消耗点数。如果还是没有头绪的话——可以尝试花费一些点数观看文字描述,或者直接在网上搜索了解。当你对“上埃及到底是什么”“楔形文字如何压印”这些事情从不知道走向知道,游戏的教育目的也就达到了。当然,如果点数不足的话,不要忘记做问卷领取大量点数哦。

Q:报告!我发现了BUG
A:点击游戏首页的“OPTION”,页面中有一个“报告BUG”按钮,在你网络通常的条件下,报告会通过Email发给老冯。此外,点击“联系我们”选择进官方群、访问官方微博或是直接加老冯QQ都可以报告BUG。

Q:你这游戏玩起来倒还行,但是界面好丑啊。
A:嗯……这一点也的确不得不承认,因为时间原因和个人能力原因,在这方面老冯也没法做出太大改进。不过最近以来老冯已经有联系到一些美术团队,如果有空余时间的话,游戏的美工方面也会继续优化下去的。

Q:老冯,《涂鸦上帝》了解一下
A:的确如果有玩过类似《涂鸦上帝》或是《小小炼金术》等同类型的元素合成游戏的话,会感觉有些似曾相识的感觉。不过老冯认为在设计和表达上《Hist Maker》和他们还是有相当大的区别的。
首先《涂鸦上帝》这类游戏的驱动核心在于玩家对于任意元素的随意组合、探索,因此随着得到的元素越来越多,组合的可能性呈平方上涨,最后玩家只得大量枚举或是翻看攻略才能继续。而《Hist Maker》则以关卡为划分,将元素控制在一定范围内,并以成就和通关任务为引导让玩家有方向的思考、解密、合成。
其次,即使《涂鸦上帝》也有关卡式的副模式,但总的来说玩家在整个游玩过程中仍然几乎没有什么特定的目标,只是随意的尝试组合,并在突然发现的新元素中获得惊喜。而《Hist Maker》则将引导和提示放在相当核心的地位,也正因此玩家可以不花费点数就可以看到目前还能什么元素可以合成。
总的来说,在这里探索、尝试是游戏中的“辅菜”,而不是《涂鸦上帝》中“主食”的地位。最后,《Hist Maker》中玩家所遇到的卡关-学习-思考-解谜的整个过程在《涂鸦上帝》中几乎不存在。
