Update Highlights:

Substrate Anti-air
Substrate mobile anti-air is now more flexible with new late game options. The Overmind and Nest of the Queen will help clear the skies with their new anti-air drone swarms in place of some of their ground damage.

Economy Changes
We are making some changes to the economy in order to make defensive play styles more viable.

Substrate King of the Hill
King of the Hill is one of our most popular Scenarios, and now it’s playable as Substrate! King of the Hill has also received a number of improvements aimed at balancing the difficulty curve. How long can you hold out for?

Balance Changes
Many balance changes improve strategic diversity and refine unit roles. Anti-air defenses are tougher, and higher Quanta costs on many Orbital Abilities means players have to think about where and when they use these powerful abilities.

Ladder Season 3
Players will have a fresh new chance to climb the leaderboards with the launch of ladder season 3. Also featured is an updated map pool for automatch.

Retributor Weapon Audio
The Retributor has new and improved audio to better reflect the power of this Substrate Dreadnought!

Reus - Jonidus
To celebrate the 5th birthday of the game, we finally got round to make the soundtrack available... properly! The game's composer Joni (that's me, actually) took some time off to remaster a grand total of 25 tracks, 13 of which were previously unreleased, and bundled them together on an album that's available right now, right here on Steam!



Next to that, to make a real birthday party out of it, Reus is now part of a daily deal with a historically deep discount of 85%.

Warframe - Wintermaker


In the latest Update, Saryn, AKA the Queen of Viral and Toxin Damage, AKA the countess of corrosion, AKA the mistress of maladies, AKA the regent of rot, is getting some updated Abilities! In our latest Dev Workshop, we detailed our intentions for the rework and what you can expect from these changes.

To summarize, our goals are to make Saryn’s Abilities flow and synergize more naturally, make underused Abilities fit better with the rest in her set, and disrupting the “meta” that contributes to a “set it and forget it” playstyle.

In keeping with these goals, here’s the full details on Saryn’s Ability changes:

General Changes
Saryn’s base Armor as been increased from 175 to 225 (at Rank 30). Saryn Prime’s Armor has also been increased from 225 to 300 (at Rank 30).

Spores
Spores now have infinite Duration and escalating Damage! That means that the Duration of Spores is determined by the enemies affected. If enemies are dying to Spores, the Spores will continue to spread. Also, the longer your spores deal Damage, the more your Damage will grow! Spores’ Damage type has also been swapped from Viral to Corrosive Damage, making it a great tool against highly armored enemies.

Molt
One of the goals of revisiting Saryn’s Abilities was to shake up the way you play Saryn and create new ways to play! With this in mind, you will no longer be able to cast Spores on your Molt Decoy. Molt is still a great tool for deception and distraction, however, and we’ve doubled down on that functionality! Now after casting Molt, Saryn will receive a movement speed boost for a short duration. Molt will also scale similar to Rhino’s Iron Skin, meaning that initial Damage taken shortly after casting will make the Decoy more resilient. Once the Decoy’s Health reaches zero, it explodes, dealing Toxin damage to any enemies unfortunate enough to be near it.

Toxic Lash
Toxic Lash was one of the Abilities we felt was underutilized while playing Saryn. We wanted to make Toxic Lash more compatible with a variety of playstyles, so in this latest rework, Toxic Lash will apply to Primary and Secondary Weapons as well as Melee! In addition, Toxic Lash duration has been increased to 45 seconds, and weapons will trigger a Toxin Status Effect!

Miasma
Miasma’s damage has been swapped from Corrosive to Viral, and increased from 350 to 500. Miasma also has a 100% guaranteed Viral Status Effect on damage. Miasma’s duration has been increased to three seconds and deals double Damage to targets affected by Spores.

Saryn will also be receiving an audio rework with new vocalizations when she casts (voiced by [DE]Danielle) to add more character and depth to the audio!

That’s not all though, Tenno! This Update also includes a Dojo Remaster, an Alt-Helmet for Equinox, GPU Particle update, Sentinel Precepts and more!



Dojo Remaster
We’re committed to making your Dojos look as good as they possibly can, and acting on that commitment with remastered Dojo Lighting and Customization options such as 5 new Pigments, as well as a suite of new Decorations for you to build and place! There are 54 new Orokin Decorations, 37 Tenno Decorations and 17 items dedicated to the creation of Obstacle Courses.



We’ve been blown away by your creativity when it comes to decorating your Dojo and can’t wait to see what you create with Obstacle Courses and these new Decorations.



GPU Particles
Brace yourselves for Ludicrous Speed, Tenno! Warframe has cranked the GPU Particle knob up to 11 and created a variety of new effects for Tenno across the Origin System to enjoy, regardless of what GPU you’re using! These new GPU Particles will replace Nvidia PhsyX Particles, which are no longer supported. Warframe’s new GPU Particles can be enjoyed on all Platforms with varying intensity: Off/Low/Medium/High and Ludicrous! From the Capture target animation to Warframe Abilities and Weapon effects, there’s a ton of beautiful new effects for you to enjoy. If you’re worried about performance, these effects have been optimized for old and new hardware alike, and are also adjustable and entirely optional!

This is only the beginning though, Tenno. We’ll be continuing to improve existing FX as well as add amazing new FX in the future!



Equinox Alt-Helm
EQUINOX CLISTHERT HELM: When they are night you are day. When they are light, you are the all-encompassing dark. A demon helm befitting a Warframe of savage duality.

Sentinel Precepts
With new and reworked Sentinel Precepts, your Companions are itching to aid you in your interplanetary adventures! There’s two new and one reworked Precept Mods for Wyrm, Djinn, and Carrier, check out the details below:

Wyrm - Negate - Sentinel prevents Status Effects from applying to its owner once every 5 seconds.

Djinn - Reawaken - Upon death, automatically revives itself after 90 seconds.

Carrier - Looter (reworked original) - Destroys Loot crates within 12 meters.

SMACKHEAD - MinGoogle
Dear community,
Displacement Studios acquired SMACKHEAD and the following changes have been performed:
  • two difficulties instead of one
  • new trailer
  • Linux/SteamOS support
  • two new achievements
  • a more detailed description and rewritten hardware recommendations
  • controls now shown in the menu
  • fullscreen/window mode switching at any time
  • replacement of a low effort intro animation
So far, as no bugs have been found, the game is out of development for now. Feel free to leave any feedback as comments!

  • Fixed a variety of problems that could occur if the master server is unreachable
  • Fixed some chunk issues near world borders and wrapping issues with vehicles
  • Fixed invisible vehicles when someone drives into your view range
  • Fixed stretched animals near world borders
  • Fixed webserver link from using the wrong address
  • Fixed some performance issues with stats and the web server
  • Fixed an issue where server passwords were being double-encrypted on server startup. Server passwords will now show in plain text in the server window but are still encrypted when sent between client and server. Existing server passwords will need to be reset to the desired value.
  • Fixed a bug in client-side predictions that sometimes made blocks appear, disappear then reappear in your carried slot.
  • Added a warning when the server is unresponsive to user status

Hey there!

With this update for SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE we add some seriously exciting stuff. This game is evergrowing amalgam of community driven ideas (thank you for being friggin awesome) and design experiments. It already came a long way but I can't wait how it will look once we are out of Early Access.
For now let's see what's new in today’s update shall we?


MushroomDude





An abomination born out of your crazy minds and our shaky hands. We had some shy prototypes of this dude but when our Discord started to go back and forth about an enemy covered by mushrooms we knew we have to step it up.

Basically mushroom infected enemies will explode after you shoot them, hit with throwables or just come into contact. They are equally dangerous for both player and other red guys. No one is safe from MushroomDudes.

Levels

We decided that minds need some kind of introduction within the game.
A soft start, for the player where he can get accustomed with skills and general vibe of particular mind. Therefore we added 3 additional levels for each of minds.
They are not only tutorials that teach you how to play a certain mind but also create a themed background.






MODs
As usual we did slight reshuffling of mods and added few new ones. Do let us know what is your experience with them.

Ninja

Two new mods for the Ninja Mind. Sexiness factor of this guy just jumped a notch.
First of all we have Recall Recharge. Thanks to this mod every kill that you score with katana will reduce the cooldown of your Recall skill. It makes the ninja gameplay even more frantic.
Next one is Flow Recall mod. Once unlocked, it makes your katana bounce between enemies in a wonderful display of blade brutality. It works almost like a certain Captain’s shield ;)

Additional changes to mods for Ninja mind are as follows:
  • moved Faster Movement to Swordmaster path
  • moved Piercing Katana to Recall path
  • removed killer goomba stomp MOD

Addict

Addict also got lucky and lands with three fresh mods.
We removed previous Start With [enter weapon here] and merged them into StartWithRandom.
So after purchasing this mod you start with a gun picked by your friendly neighborhood game.
Next up is Quickshot which reduces the reload time on all guns.
Less reloading, more shooting. Everyone is happy.
Finally third mod is Ricochet.
From now on you will be able to bounce your bullets of walls. Let’s be honest, this mod is designed so that you can kill red guys with more swag.


RUNs

New difficulty curve of main RUNs

Again, let us know how it plays after the change. Our goal here is to allow people to finish MCD main RUNs with a slight challenge but nothing insane. The crazy difficulty runs will be spread out in the further corners of The Pyramid.

Challenge RUNs

We finally came back to challenges. They were pretty popular in original SUPERHOT so we just couldn’t make MCD without them. A challenge is a run with slightly changed rules of the game. That might be anything from enemies spawning with shotguns only to...hmmm go explore, why should I spoil the fun of discovery? :) Only thing that I can tell you is that we will add more challenges in upcoming updates. Guys working on them are having too much fun to stop.


Weapons

New weapon - FishGun



Why is it called fishgun? Cause it looks like catfish? Funny right? No? Uhm. Awkard, let’s keep going.
So a lot of you somehow managed to reach stages in SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE where our studio gnomes hid upcoming secret weapon. Discord and reddit got filled with screenshots and speculations of some weird looking weapon. Well here it is.
FishGun is a long distance rifle with ultra fast, almost unavoidable bullets. It looks almost like a hitscan shot but it’s not. As most things in MIND CONTROL DELETE Fish Gun is still in development phase so everything about it might change.
Play around with it. Let us know how it feels.

Shotgun Tweaks

After this update every time Shotgun runs out of bullets it will change into melee weapon.
We plan to add this feature to every weapon in MCD arsenal.
There are also some slight changes in ammo count and reload time for shotgun.
