Dear players! We are happy to congratulate you on the New Year!
We have prepared for you a global update:

What's new? This time, to a greater extent, changes touched the car's motoring part 😉
Namely:
- Added the ability to add items to the trunk of the car;
- Added the ability to install additional modules into the car (just put them there, into the trunk - and they will start working);
- To start the car you also need to use a battery;
- Added several additional modules (fun and not very) for cars that you can also use (find yourself! ;-));
- Improved visual effects from the headlights of cars, increased the distance of lighting car headlights;
- Added a new car - NIVA 4x4 (with steep additional lights on the roof, when installing twists with armor);

Besides:
- Added arena to the bar! Now you can call players to a duel (key F);
- The life of objects is increased 3 times (all except those that are generated on spawns);
- increased the total number of items on the locations, now the "loot" will be larger);
- premium is not taken away in the arena (it is necessary to test);
- The bar is more normal world, as well as in the corridors of the arena;
- The mechanics of the peace zone is completely controlled on the server (the mechanism is modified), - maybe in the future there will even be dynamic peace zones (added / removed by administrators right during the game, etc.)

New Year:
- Traditionally, snow is added to the location of the Neighborhood;
- Added a peace zone in the DC, a tape recorder with music, a Christmas tree, feuerwigs in different parts of the location;
- Chupacabra suddenly changed shape! 😉 Yes, yes, it's the one that eats players, and not just stands at the DK. 😉
- Sometimes admins will give out gifts to players; Do not try to kill them !; To get a gift, you have to tell the poem in the voice);

Happy new year pirates!
Before we kick off the new year here we wanted to give all of you swashbucklers one more update. This update addresses many user concerns/feedback and improves the overall game experience. We even added two new achievements for those completionists out there.

Here's a sneak peek at one of the upcoming biomes!


New content & features

  • Quest icons are now shown above NPCs and interaction locations
  • Ship cutscenes added, crew will comment on various actions the player performs
  • Auto-feed option added when feeding crew
  • Added two new achievements

Minor changes

  • Random events now include full translation features
  • Added a new random event
  • Reduced number of lines in translation file by removing redundancies but did not break previously translated lines

Bug fixes and performance improvements

  • Translation tool retrieves the english file much faster now
  • Reduced memory usage per island by removing obselete data
  • Quest completion list now uses correct IDs
    READ BELOW FOR PREVIOUSLY CREATED SAVE FILES
    • All quests have been reset for old save files to prevent compatibility issues. Rewards aren't lost, only quests completed. This won't cause every quest to appear again.
  • Removed extra cutscene queue in Seabully revisit #2
  • Improved Steam Cloud support for Ubuntu

Balance changes

  • Increased capacity/quantity of wood planks in every Generalstore
  • Reduced rate attack risk grows by 25%
  • Attack risk resets when an island is first captured

Ancient Siberia - Valga Games


Hello players of Ancient Siberia!

First of all, let us wish you the happiest New Year! We hope that you has a terrific year, and the next one will be even better!

2017 was very intense for our team. We got our ups and downs, but in the end we released our game in Early Access here on Steam. Finally, we are here, where all the great games can be found. It's a great achievement, right?

Also, for now we have a few updates to cheer you up with. Next updates will be released in 2018, and we are back to work on Wednesday, January the 3rd.

We wish you all the best for the upcoming year, and hope to see you all again!

Valid build version: 0.4.4.0

FIXED:

1. Damage calculating system: piercing of armores wasn't registered. Now the problem is solved, and you can try it out on your enemies!

IMPROVEMENTS:

1. Servers: packet processing rate is now increased. It affects the movements of your character's rivals, now their animation is more smooth. Also the performance of the servers is much higher now.
2. Skills upgrading system: the essential method of upgrading has been changed.
3. Basic characteristics: regeneration of the characteristics' was slightly reduced.

KNOWN ISSUES:

1. Small arms are not available at the moment
