Hello!

New update has just been applied! Its’ most important part are fixes to the frequent servers crashes problem which has been occurring for the last week. We had decided to delegate most of the team to help fixing this issue which finally appeared to be an internal engine error. Of course such things happen in every engine and tool, though it was a hard time for us. After all, the problem has been fixed and didn’t happen any longer during our internal tests. However, we only can make sure of it by applying the update so thank you in advance for reporting all of the servers performance issues you would experience!

Moreover, we have moved to a new engine version. During internal tests on numerous different machines the client-side performance has visibly improved, however if you would experience any stability/performance issues, please let us know! Side-note – the engine upgrade has caused a significant increase of this specific update’s size. However, thanks to the upgrade we will be able to improve the game easier and faster. Sorry for any inconvenience!

There are also several gameplay improvements, such as tweaks to AI, rebalance of the NPCs’ statistics and changes to rewards earned for the tournament. Enjoy and see you in battle!

Changelog v.0.7.3.8

– Adjusted the NPCs’ statistics to new new combat balance and damage ranges
– Slightly reduced running speed of the NPC enemies chasing a player
– Increased delay between the NPCs’ actions
– Fixed an issue causing the NPCs walking around each other instead of fighting
– Doubled the reward for a nation which took 2nd place in a tournament; from now on the winners earn 100% of rewards, the 2nd nation earns 66% and the 3rd one earns 33%
– Increased amount of Glory Points earned for killing an enemy during tournament – from 200 to 600 GP
– Increased amount of Glory Points earned for taking part in a tournament – from 600 to 1800 GP
– Optimized the animations display frequency – from now on, the frequency is being reduced for distant characters; intensity of this effect depends on selected Model Detail setting
– Added a new option in the graphics settings: “Eye Adaptation” which brightens or darkens the screen depending on where a character is in a given moment
