Niffelheim - Andrew

Hi everyone,

a new update 0.9.017 is ready. Below is a list of changes, that are very important for the game ending introduction.

Changes and new features:
1. Player does not lose the game in case his castle is destroyed.
2. Having destroyed an enemy castle in multiplayer mode you can enter the castle and plunder chests. The vault is not available for player from other teams.
3. The vault no longer requires a pass code. The number of vault slots has been increased.
4. A team can only own a single land. You will no longer be able to buy more lands.
5. You won't be able to enter enemy mines and holes anymore; however the dungeons are still accessible.
6. After having activated the dragon, the temple is no longer accessible for you and your team.
7. If a land is empty (no AI or real players), there will be no Mine.
8. If an AI player destroys your castle, it's going to rob you a little bit :) However the items inside your vault will be safe.
9. You can plunder AI chests, something will be in there.

In a rule, if you are playing alone without AI opponents, your castle will only defend your farms from skeleton attacks.

Changes to bosses and dungeons system:
1. From now on hermit priests are always located in the first cave of your dungeon. You can easily find them. There is one priest per cave.
2. After killing a boss inside a cave you get a portal fragment to Asgard. Make sure to collect these. The Portal will soon be launched.
3. Bosses have a lot less health from now on, but their health will be increased with every portal fragment you get. This system may be also used in future with some mobs).
4. Bosses in a cave can change.

Changes to door system:
1. For now on the W key should be used to enter all doors.
2. Doors are pre-installed in dungeons, where digging is enabled.
3. You can craft doors at the Sawmill workshop.
4. You cannot dig a door using a Pick.
5. To install a door, craft it, then click RMB to place it.
6. From now on doors are also installed on the upper floors.
7. The door into the dungeon stand out now. Because a lot of people were having trouble locating the mine :)
8. All doors in the dungeon are equipped with a lamp.

Bugs
1. Fixed bug with the vault in multiplayer mode.
2. Fixed bug with irresponsive bosses.
3. Fixed bug with the "Complete 10 quests" achievement.

The Italian localization has been updated. Many thanks to our fan Emanuele Festuccia for help with text translation.

Currently we are working on diggable dungeons: some ground types will be harder to break, but you will be able to tell right away that there is gold in there. Also we are going to improve the flora and introduce drought as the Witch's curse, as well as some other tasks.

Next we are going to add the Beggar and the Raven for new story quests. After that we are going to activate the Portal and the Crypt. The dragon will be stored inside the Crypt. These are our main goals for the moment, and we are doing our best to implement all of these ASAP.

Have fun playing,
Ellada Games Team.

Tanzia - Kindermann Corp
So far you´ve been running around beautiful beaches with sunny skies, facing not so difficult enemies, sailing boats, having a breezy time... THAT'S OVER!

This update will finally let you open the mysterious courtyard door.
What will you find there? Death probably, but also a way into the Ancient Temple. So forget about those beautiful sunny beaches. This is the first step into the Skeleton King's lair, and nothing's going to be the same once you take it.

Stock up on potions, max your gear, level up and learn all the spells you can. You're going to need it all to survive!

Full changelog for build #3219 below:

8/16/2017 P4 #3219
-Open the Temple Ruins courtyard and The Ancient Temple.
-fix a bug preventing you from equipping fear with a gamepad.
-set quest items to disallow critical loot.
-redo collision on Bear Island so you can walk into the shallow beach areas.
-fix a bug where inventory counts sometimes are showing on empty slots due to UILocalize component overwriting empty text on UILabel.
-add missing reverb and fog volumes to library.
-fix portrait camera bugs on some mobs.
-add sound fx to doors and gates in Temple Ruins, Ancient Temple, and Great Volcano.
-collision optimizations for all mobs.
-pathing fixes and optimizations in Emuri Village.
-many optimizations to the scene graph.

Rocket League® - Dirkened

Following the conclusion of the Collegiate Rocket League - Summer Series, we’re happy to announce we’re heading back to school this fall with the inaugural season of Collegiate Rocket League (CRL). We're partnering once again with the team at Tespa to bring you the Fall 2017 season, which will give college students across North America the opportunity to compete for $50,000 in scholarship prizing and brand-new CRL-branded merch! With fall quickly approaching, we've got everything you need to know for the first CRL season right now!

Fall 2017 Season Format

The CRL Fall Season will feature four unique conferences that represent each region in the eligible territories. Teams from each conference will fight through one of two double elimination qualifiers; the top four teams from each qualifier will move onto the Conference Group Stage. Students can play on PC (Steam) or PlayStation 4. Check out more details and essential links below:

CRL HOMEPAGE / SIGN UP
OFFICIAL RULES

Running alongside the Conference Group Stage, we’ll also have an Open Ladder where teams who did not qualify for the group stages can compete against other schools for a chance to make it into the Conference playoffs as a wildcard team. Once the group stages and open ladder are complete, it's onto the Conference Playoffs to find the best teams to represent their conference at the CRL National Championship to fight for their chance at $50,000 in scholarship prizing.

With the start of the 2017-2018 school year quickly approaching, there is no better time to sign-up for Collegiate Rocket League! We hope this is just the start of continuing to grow the collegiate community around Rocket League and we hope to see you on the pitch this fall.

Worlds Adrift - Bossa_Oli

Greetings travellers,

We are glad to share that more Founder's Packs are now available on our official website. The packs are expected to be available until Friday around 11:59 pm (UK time)

Last month, OliverAge24 & Henrique created a series of tutorial that we shared in this blog article. The goal was that it could be used as a good entry point to Worlds Adrift if you are new and want to have a few tips that aren't specifically explained in the game. Worlds Adrift was created with the idea that discovering things on your own through experimentation is part of the fun, and this is how we encourage you to get into Worlds Adrift. Having said that, not everyone approaches the game with that mindset -  some players are interested in getting more info, more tips, more explanation a little bit faster, and this is totally fine.

This is where YOU, the great Worlds community, come to the rescue and help us with the official wiki. Sometimes it can be a bit tricky to browse a wiki, and usually, you need to know what you are looking for. What about a guide? Like an old school manual you used to find in the box of games that you bought? We have three amazing players that have created really in-depth guides that cover a lot of topics from getting started with the basics to game mechanic explanation and even shared some tricks!

fviktor created this great guide (updated during Closed Beta 0.1.3.7) - http://www.ferenczi.eu/worlds-adrift/guide/

Jamesm2w worked on this steam guide, it's even available in Turkish! (updated today, August 16) - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=932986882

Ashguard has a series of question and answers available here and he is also super active in the comments to reply any question. (updated today, August 16) - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=941099276

ZomB Turtles and Sneaky Emu made this one (updated on May 29) - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=933004497

Keep in mind that while these guides are detailed, they are not official so may or may not be correct or up-to-date! That is quite a lot of hard work and love put into these guides. If you used the guides and they helped you, don't hesitate to reach out to the guys to say thanks or leave a comment here below :)

Now you should be well-armed to become a Founder from this week and explore the skies!

Rocket Wars - Rooftop Panda
Huge new update now live!

First of all we want to say a big thanks to all of you who have bought and are playing Rocket Wars!

Today we have released a big new update featuring 2 brand new game modes and lots of other updates to the game!

The two new game modes:
SPACE BALL:
Each player or team has a goal and you win by destroying the other teams goal with a big ol' spaceball!

This new game mode focuses more on manoeuvres and tricks that outright destruction.

ENTANGLED:
In entangled 2 players are 'tied' together and will grow in power the closer they are to each other and grow weaker the further apart they are.

This mode offers some great tactical choices and tradeoffs because you also grow bigger in size when you are more powerful, making you easier to hit!

This game mode focuses heavily on team play and coordination and is therefore only available as 2v2

Please note that in the play menu you can now switch between FFA and Team mode

Additional updates and fixes
NEW
  • You can now use both a keyboard and a controller together!
  • Scoreboards show player health
  • New badges added

CHANGES
  • Everybody can now control to menu, so no more trouble when player one goes for a toilet break.
  • Upgraded input plugin, which should mean more gamepads are supported
  • Perrformance optimization

Fixes
  • Solved a lot of gamepad handling issues
  • Made controls reminder show controls for every input type that is in use
  • Blacklisted some badges for some gamemodes, since they didn't make much sense (least deaths in survival etc.)
  • Made countdown text scale according to screen size

You can help!
We would love to get more visibility for Rocket Wars and the easiest step right now is that ourr review score goes public.

All you have to do is write a review for the game, and when Steam thinks that we have enough, it will show up publicly which will help new players know what the existing community thinks of the game.

Once again, thank you for playing and we hope to bring you more updates in the future!
