Community Announcements - iggy


Beta v1.01 is available and has a number of changes big and small. The goal will be to do these pretty rapidly (holidays and family events notwithstanding) and each update will likely contain a range of new updates and features. This update mostly touches the first level (the Prototype) but does a range of things generally:

Dreamscape/Avatar
  • Fix arrow keys for dreamscape avatar
  • Make it so dreamscape avatar sprints as often as you like
  • Make 2nd glyph puzzle in Prototype easier, better, more appropriate
  • Fix Red Guardians to only impact dreamscape avatar
  • Various scripting refinements and responsiveness

Performance
  • Better defaults for performance (still adjust them to whatever you prefer)
  • Performance pass on The Prototype (less fillrate used on lower end systems)

Map Specific
  • The Prototype: Overall gameplay pass, visual pass
  • The Prototype: Structure map with story triggers from beginning to end (first pass)
  • The Prototype: Refinement and addition of all tips and arm notifications
  • The Prototype: Correctly implement shield and pulse to trigger from gameplay
  • The Prototype: Move all remaining gameplay elements from Beast testmap (now deprecated)
  • The Prototype: Now has a minimally functional ending that leads into Falling once completed

Other
  • Fix onscreen tips not aligning correctly in certain resolutions
  • Better checkpointing both visually and functionally, restore previous states better
  • Uses latest Unreal code 4.16.2

The next update will include refinements to the abilities, a more final first level and a Mac build at a minimum. That will probably release by next weekend if not sooner. Happy 4th (Americans)! ːsteamhappyː

Hey guys,

Sadly we have to announce that the June content update has been delayed (1 to 2 weeks more) for further testing and finalization. The upcoming update will include a lot of changes and we want to make sure it's very high quality and runs smoothly. We hope you guys have been enjoying 5v5, and we can't wait to show you what's coming with our new Co-op vs AI mode, revamped map, private lobbies and more.

STLD Redux: Episode 02 - pyroklasticgames
Hey guys, stopping by to give you this weeks zombie raffle results! I've been traveling a lot this week so I haven't got to work as much as I would have liked. I'm gonna work on the tutorial as much as I can tonight but I can't honestly say the update would be ready by then. It is getting there though!

So in about the last month or so 4 people have mentioned Achievements, I used to love hunting them on games with my brother. This is definitely and always was planned for STLD. I had some time while I was on a train yesterday to type out a list of what the first set of Achievements would be. There's nearly 50 listed. I think the most production time will be assigning them all Icons. Anyway, I'll mark it with the Spoiler thing but I don't really think there's anything too harmful on this list. I'll probably have more with the last patch.
