Change Log 0.3.2

Complete Graphics Overhaul (W.I.P)
New More Advanced Weather System
Performance Improvements
Added many many more buildings to the map
Added some new emergencies
Fixed misaligned fire on 60th and CPW

New Forum is Live: http://emerge-nyc.com/forum/

(We apologize for not putting this out yesterday or earlier, lots of personal things going on right now)

We are extremely happy and thankful to all of you who have left positive reviews on our Steam since the last post we made. It has really boosted our morale and enthusiasm on the project that we have such great supporters who have faith in us and in the project. 0.3.2 is live and includes a ton of new buildings filling out more areas of the map. The map is coming together nicely and we hope to have it completely filled in with buildings soon. Every single area will then be passed over adding details such as street props, trees, parks. unique plazas, elevated areas and more. Our main priority is replacing all our untextured cubes with more visually satisfying buildings no matter how low quality or low poly they are, they are definitely 100 times better than what we have now. We are now about 60% complete with filling out the map with buildings. The next update we plan to fill out a majority of times square.

Simultaneously we are transferring our character controller and networking it over to what we have multiplayer and single player to add a completely new game mode. You will now be able to be in charge of a single character with a specific role in one of our fire companies and eventually take the role of a police officer or EMT/Paramedic. No two fire crews are the same. Over 20 unique and different Firefighter characters each with a position to take. We have a lot more that we want to talk about this but we will leave it for next week. For now, enjoy these WIP Screenshots.

After tons of stress and headaches we think we may have found an optimal solution to performance issues. The technique is called asset bundling and should definitely help with performance. It will take us some time to implement it fully but we are hopeful it is what we have been looking for to cure this plague of performance issues. If you're having low FPS and long loading times, we really hope this solution works for you and we are excited for you all to test it out when its ready.

Second Coming - andersson.erik.daniel
We have released a bug fix update for the game, there will probably be another bugfix-update. But after that, Episode 3 with 10 new stages are coming to move the story forward.

Creativerse - PlayfulDavid

The day is nearly here.

Creativerse will graduate from Early Access on May 8.

In 6 days, we will cross a very important milestone in the game’s development. It’s the moment we say to the world, “Ok, everyone into the pool!” We will open the doors to an even bigger audience and invite them into the amazing, delightful world of Creativerse.

For all of you who’ve been on this journey with us and helped us build this game together, this will be just another step. Our shared hopes and dreams for what this game can become have no limits. We still have much more planned for Creativerse. Tomorrow, for the first time ever, we’ll share a glimpse of that roadmap with you—details about what we have planned and where we hope to go from here.

Until then, we wanted to thank all of you for supporting us during Early Access. Your feedback is invaluable to us and influences the game’s destiny every single day. To show our thanks, use the code “THANKYOU” in the game’s store (click the “redeem” button) from now until May 7 to get the super rare recipe for the Unicorn Sword, aka The Rainbownator 5000, as well as the Ultimate Machines Pack!
