Paradox Interactive, a publisher on the front line of gaming, today announced that it has partnered with Eugen Systems, a renowned developer of games such as the Wargame-series and R.U.S.E., to release Steel Division: Normandy 44, a new tactical real-time strategy game for Windows PCs. Steel Division: Normandy 44 is a game that puts players in command of historically accurate tanks, troops, and vehicles at the height of World War II, and will feature a single-player campaign alongside online multiplayer modes, up to and including 10-versus-10 battles. The game will be available later this year.

Steel Division: Normandy 44 features thorough attention to historical detail, from the carefully rendered tanks to the in-game maps – based on actual aerial reconnaissance photos of Normandy in 1944. The game runs on the latest version Eugen’s IRISZOOM engine, allowing players to zoom from an aerial, battle-wide perspective all the way down to a single unit, and keep track of the dynamic front line as they plan and execute maneuvers, ambushes, and more. From creating a battlegroup of historically accurate infantry, tanks, and vehicles, to troop positioning and real-time engagement with the enemy, players will need to be clever and cunning in order to win; raw firepower alone will not be enough.

Command Over 400 Historically Accurate Units: Whether fighting for control in intense multiplayer battles with up to 10-vs-10 players going head-to-head, playing alone or working with friends in ranked matches, players will need to coordinate their selection of historically accurate infantry, tanks, aircraft, and support vehicles to counter enemy units in this Tactical RTS game.
Real-world Tactics: Battles rage over three distinct phases, where different units unlock over time, mimicking the movements of real-world armies and adding variety to the ever-changing theatre of war. A dynamic front line illustrates the ebb and flow of the conflict. Pin down your opponent's infantry to gain the advantage and force a retreat, or push through with a perfectly executed plan.
Real-world Setting: Using the latest version of Eugen’s IRISZOOM engine, players can smoothly zoom from a tactical aerial view all the way down to a single unit, and see 400 different real-world vehicles and units designed with careful historical detail and accuracy. Maps are designed based on actual aerial reconnaissance photos of Normandy in 1944, requiring real-world tactics and strategies to cover and control.

The update 1.11 of Zipple World is finally LIVE, with the following new features.

New energy system!
Pick up and carry objects requires energy, and this energy can be gained by Zipple only in battle by killing enemies!

The adventure of Zipple is getting tougher ...
The magical world of frogs is full of magical items to collect, but this activity is not always easy: it requires the effort and energy of our hero, energy which so often lacks.
Only the battle with the enemies, victories during the duels, can increase the energy and trust of Zipple to continue on its way.
For this reason, from now to collect magic items you need to store energy by killing enemies, and this energy decreases each time you bring an object home (patch 1.11).



Limited ammo!
Now the number of ammo is limited, and you can earn ammo only by bringing home magic items!
Remember that you can kill enemies also by jumping on them.
Every type of magic item will give you a different number of ammo!

Zipple has the ability to continuously shoot, but the magic weapons donated by the shaman this time they are not infinite: the number of shots is limited!
Yes, this time you can retrieve the ammo every time you return home with a magic item, and the number of shots that you earn varies depending on the quality and type of the object retrieved.

The Cloud Pirates Early Access on Steam is finally here! Join now to meet thousands of players in Cloud Pirates and get a head start.

Aside from Early Access, players can now also enjoy Update 1.1: “Goldrush”. One of the main features of the "Gold Rush" update is the latest “Convoy” mode!

CONVOY MODE
In Convoy Mode, a team of 7 Cloud Pirate captains are tasked with protecting a convoy carrying precious ore through a treacherous labyrinth of floating rocks and other obstacles. The second team of 7 captains is tasked with destroying the convoy and capturing its contents for themselves!

Convoy Mode will only be available during specific times (21:00 to 22:00 CET), replacing the standard battle modes once active.

We’ve also included a special bonus for Brotherhoods – Brotherhood Captains will be able to gather resources from Convoy Mode which can be used to build their very own Brotherhood Fortress in the future!

Whether you protect the convoy ships and get paid by the Taskmaster or plunder its smoldering remains as an assailant, one thing is for certain – untold riches await those who hear the call of the Gold Rush.

Sorry for the long wait between updates, been busy lately with stuff. Unfortunately that isn't slowing down right now, but I did manage to get some time in to update stuff.

Additions
  • Traps can now spawn in co-op.
  • Added player visibility to co-op.
  • Added enemy leader visuals and mechanics to coop.

    Healer
    • Health Split - Heal and equalize all teammates health values.
    • Healing Spores - Create some spores around you that heal teammates who pick them up.

    Damage
    • Deadly Stealth - For 3 seconds, stealth damage does 5x instead of 3x.
    • Blast Charge - The next enemy you hit is marked with a blast charge and explodes on death.

    Tank
    • Defence Bubble - Spawn a field that reduces damage taken by 50% while standing in it.
    • Light Barrier - Spawns a barrier that blocks bullets for 5 seconds.

    Support
    • Confusion Field - Spawn a field that applies confusion to enemies standing in it.
    • Shadow Cloak - Reduces visibility of teammates by 70% when active.

    Global
    • Silence - Greatly reduce the sound you make and reduce the effect of threat for 3H seconds.
    • Retreat - Warp to the teammate with the lowest threat on your team.

Bug Fixes
  • Hacking speed is no longer based on movement speed. (?)
  • When using radial aim on a controller, you no longer have extra spread.
  • Fixed aim magnetism in co-op.
  • Fixed "#" acting as a newline while chatting in coop.
  • Fixed an issue where framerate issues would occur at the start of a coop game.
  • Fixed bullet damage using the enemy damage hitsplat in coop.
  • Completing a coop raid no longer messes up the offset of the UI.
  • Dying in coop no longer causes issues when you restart the game.
  • Legendary unique weapons can no longer spawn in coop.
  • Fixed a crash caused by the electrified tech in coop.
  • Fixed a crash related to lobbies.

Other Changes
  • Firing your gun no longer prevents you from dropping it or picking up another weapon until you can attack again.
  • Item use/pickup system has been changed to a list instead of being radial.
  • Quickplay levels are now 3x3 instead of 5x5.

Co-Op is almost nearing release state, there is some more polish I'd like to add though, it should be out next patch unless something goes totally wrong.
