Total War: WARHAMMER - CA Grace
We’re pleased to announce a large update for the Assembly Kit for Total War: WARHAMMER that introduces battle map editing! The map editor is called Terry and we’re currently in BETA with a full release slated for the end of the month.

BETA caveats:

• This Beta is for Windows 10 users only. Windows 7 and 8 will be available at full release at the end of February.

• Grass currently does not generate on maps in game.

Terry’s features:

• Land battle map editing for custom and multiplayer battle.

• Full suite of environment models, props, SFX and VFX for map creation.

• A.I. hints, deployment editing, no-go regions, terraforming, texture terrain painting, vegetation terrain painting and more.

• Customizable layout and layering within the tools for easy organization and navigation.

• Easy one click export that creates a .pack file for you map, allowing you to toggle it on and off in the Total War Launcher as you wish.

• Live map transfer in multiplayer. Simply host a game with a custom map and other players will download it automatically without the need to subscribe on the workshop. The maps will be deleted after the battle (unless subscribed to in the workshop or manually placed in the game data folder)

• Share maps via steam workshop and subscribe to your favourites. Having maps enabled will not affect your ability to join multiplayer games.

To access the beta: (only need to do this once)

• Log into your account that owns Total War: WARHAMMER

• In Steam, hover over “LIBRARY” and select “TOOLS”

• Search “Total War: WARHAMMER – Assembly Kit BETA” and install.

• Right-click “Total War: WARHAMMER – Assembly Kit BETA” and select “Properties”.

• In the Properties window, select the “BETAS” tab.

• In the “Enter beta access code to unlock private betas:” please enter the code: fjesij4issfgwse30s334

• Click the “Check Code” button, then select “cascade2 -” from the “Select the beta you would like to opt into:” drop-down box.

• The Assembly Kit will update to the version including the Terry tool.

To use Terry:

In Steam, Tools, Double click Total War: WARHAMMER – Assembly Kit BETA and select “Play Tweak (Database Editor)” and click “PLAY”.

Tweak will open up. In the “Plugins” section select “Terry”.

We'll have more detailed information and guides on how to make maps using Terry soon.

Unfortunately we can’t release a Campaign Map Editing tool for TW:WARHAMMER, as it doesn’t exist. The way we build the campaign map at CA is through a series of processes involving a mix of tech we make and 3rd party tools we don’t own the right to distribute, within a development version of the game. This is the best way for us to create our games, and we don’t use an all-in-one editor that you might be thinking of.

While it is theoretically possible to create an editor like this, it wouldn’t benefit our development process, would take us a long time and delay the next Total War releasing and would mean that we’d be making an editor and not a game, which is what we would much rather do.

Commercium - IceTrey
Hey all, a LOT was done under the hood, fixing things, getting a performance update ready to make the game finally smooth, and adding small furniture items. So much was done that we jumped to 0.1.8!

Patch 0.1.8
  • Fixed a bug where you could not be female on a horse
  • Fixed a bug where you could not use the pawn shop
  • Fixed a bug that made female legs look weird sometimes
  • Changed the style of menus in places
  • Changed the sound some things make
  • Furniture optimizations were started, trying to make the world run smooth
  • An Iron gate was added to the shop
  • Flags of Youtubers have been added to the shop. (Tanman321go, PsiSyndicate) Represent your favorite Youtuber! If you want your favorite Youtuber added, please tell us! All flags are added with permission from respective people.
  • unlocked the small gift box. You can now drink and be merry. Just be careful, small boxes explode, because they are cheap.

Next, we're going to try and cram in some goals for you in the world of Commercium!

As always following an update we are looking into player feedback and any bug reports that shake loose. Work is also continuing on our next content update which should drop in the next few months. As the content (and thus timing) firms up we’ll have more details on exactly what is to come and when it will be ready. This will include new weapon and map content (which features a whole new way to play survival)! We look forward to sharing more with you over the coming weeks.

For those of you who live near London (UK) the PC Gamer Weekender demoing Killing Floor Incursion (our VR title) so come on by and meet us!

A decoder will be removed from the game.

Survivors,

At the end of 2016 we hosted a "Good-bye" sale for the Supreme Decoders. We're no longer going to see them in CSN:Z.

However, with the New Year we also decided it's time for us to innovate the in-game formula and so we're also removing Mileage Decoders from the game altogether.

We know it comes as a surprise, but we do love surprises a lot!

You probably wonder what's going to happen now. How are we supposed to complete our Bingo Boards without Mileage?

Worry not, Survivors: with the Mileage Decoders going, something new and special is taking its place! Something that will potentially also address other in-game matters indirectly!

Mileage Decoder will be removed from the game on February 8th after the maintenance. After maintenance, you can open your purchased/stored Mileage Decoders but you are unable to buy Mileage Decoders anymore.

We will not close the Mileage opening function before the end of July 2017 and you will be informed again in a later stage about the date for the closing of the Mileage opening function.

Zombie Balloon Event.

This good old event is back! From today to February 15th, you can get a reward upon your contribution for destroying Zombie Balloon in game!

HOW
  • If you destroy Zombie Balloon, EXP/Points buff will be applied when the match finished.
  • If you participate in the Zombie Balloon event more than 10 times, you will receive a random amount of Item Duration Extender coupons.
  • The Zombie Balloon will be appeared in the Italy, Assault, Militia, Estate, Dust, Dust 2 and Mouse Hole map.
  • If you assault the Zombie Balloon at least once, it will be counted as participation.
  • If you get the item duration extender through this event, it will be given to you only once per day and you can participate in this event every day!
  • Your Zombie Balloon result will be initialized at 24:00 every day.
  • Only the last shooter of the Zombie Balloon will have buff effect applied.
  • Buff can be accumulated for 3 times max in the same match so you can get a max 300% buff effect.
  • Please make sure your inventory has space otherwise your item will not be properly injected.
  • In the Bot original / Bot death match / Bot team death match / Bot Zombie / Original League mode / Zombie Team League mode, there will be no Zombie Balloon event.
A decoder will be removed from the game.

After careful consideration, we decided to remove all decoders from the game.
