Tales of Berseriaâ„¢ - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Alice O'Connor)

Bandai Namco’s long-running Tales series of RPGs has avoided PCs for most of its life but they’ve recently started bringing both old and new Tales games our way. The PC version of Tales of Berseria [official site] will launch on the same day of its console counterpart, January 27th, and we’ll even be treated to a demo before then. Look for that on January 10th, Bamco have announced. While they are getting better at this ‘PC gaming’ malarkey, their ports can be still wonky so good, that’s good to hear. Here, come have a gander at Berseria in a new trailer. … [visit site to read more]

Left 4 Dead - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Alice O'Connor)

Left 4 Dead and Evolve creators Turtle Rock Studios have announced a new co-op first-person shooter. Ish. A bit. They’ve announced they’re making one. The mysterious game will be fantasy-ish and, y’know, you’ll shoot enemies with your pals and oh, it’ll be free-to-play. While Evolve switched to free-to-play a year after launching but this new game will be designed as F2P from the start, which should work out better for it – and us. We shouldn’t expect this new game until 2018 at the earliest but I’m glad to know they’re still doing their co-op thing. … [visit site to read more]

Discover the true meaning of Christmas in the heartwarming first Forza Horizon 3 [official site] expansion. Blizzard Mountain, released yesterday, tells the tale of a group of cars jostling for love and attention from Santy Claus, racing across ice and snow to prove they’re better than any reindeer. Racing through new icy lands, a lineup of new trucks and cars will come to realise that Santa loves them all and that they should stop competing. The final race ends with the cars round a fire glugging marshmallow-laden cocoa into their radiators. Perfect. I’m welling up just thinking about it. … [visit site to read more]

Motorsport Manager - contact@rockpapershotgun.com (Alice O'Connor)

Motorsport Manager [official site] made its first appearance on PC last month as Sega slipped cars without football into their management sim portfolio next to football without cars. Our Adam wasn’t as taken with it as he is Football Manager, though he says that’s likely because he’s more into kicking. But hey, the game will soon welcome a wider potential audience as an update this week is adding a “2D mode” which looks less pretty but will allow the game to run on slower computers and laptops. … [visit site to read more]

Gravity Ghost [official site] may be a cutesy-cute looking game, but beneath the very lovely prettiness is a rather smart physics puzzler with exceptional use of orbits. … [visit site to read more]
