Greetings everyone! Many of you have been furiously playing our Chapter II update already, so we won't keep you for long. After all, those ships won't sink themselves! Today we'd like to cover our Alachian Sea patch, the Platinum Plunder, and our New Website.
We are incredibly pleased to announce that our Chronicles of Entrath: Chapter II patch went live Tuesday without a hitch. This has been one of our largest content releases to date, and we have added a ton of new content for you to explore! Brave the high seas, explore interactive dungeons, overcome crazy encounters and more! Not to mention, we have added over 200 new equips, 90 PvE cards, introduced the mercenary system and a whole new class for you to play with. Set sail, scallywags - adventure awaits!
And if that's not enough to make you yearn for open waters, make sure to check out our new trailer above. Our teams have worked really hard to bring you this epic introduction to our second chapter. If you have even a touch of a pirate in you, that video should have you singing sea shanties straight away.
Speaking of shipwrecks and pirates, our Platinum Plunder tournament is coming up soon! Starting December 17th, make sure to join us for a massive, free tournament with several hundred thousand in platinum up for grabs! Additionally, the top 256 players will receive the Salty Sam mercenary (shown below).
Save the date and begin brewing today!
Website Improvements
You may have noticed that we are transitioning to a brand-new website. This is a big change, but it comes with some pretty sweet improvements.
First, we have a brand-new slider for our top news stories. If something important is going down in the world of Entrath, we want you to know about it. With major articles pinned right at the top of the page, it is now easier than ever to stay informed!
Second, we know that you don't all read our news feed every day. Sometimes you miss an article or a deck write-up by one of your favorite community authors. With our previous website, once something fell off the front page it could be difficult to find it again. Not any more! We now have both a search function and a tagging system to make navigating our archives an easy and pleasant experience.
Third, we have added a new "What is HEX?" video which can be found under 'the game' menu on our website. If you have some friends who are thinking of getting into HEX, we now have a short, accessible introduction they can watch to see what kinds of things our game has to offer.
Please note that this is just the beginning! We are still adding features to our new website and tweaking its look. While we are in our transitional period, some older articles may be down until we can get them into our archive properly. Thank you for your understanding!
Finally, we posted full details regarding our Season 3 Cosmic Crown Showdown. In this tournament, the top 64 from each ladder will compete for their share of a $5,000 prize pool. There is less than a month left before the end of Season 3, so start climbing today!
