Howdy space explorers! We're pushing out a smaller hotfix to address some of the major issues in the previous build. There are still a variety of issues we're looking at and we'll push out fixes for them as they become available.


Changelog
  • Fixed the splash displaying on every return to the main menu.
    • It will now only display if you’re not logged in.
    • It is not yet skippable.
  • Auth token no longer requested on server search.
  • Client will now poll for server listings every 30 seconds instead of 5
  • Client will not poll for server listings unless the server browser is open.
  • Fixes to SpectatorPawn to allow for free-flying.
    • The escape menu is still not accessible. We’ll be working on a fix for this shortly.
  • Added Rifle (some offset settings required in future update)
  • Added Rifle Animations
  • Fix firearm compile error
  • Update collision checking for construction to be more realistic.
  • Added highlight toggle to items
  • Made placement actors not highlight
  • Fixed movability bug with placement actors
  • Fixed construction replication issue with components
  • Realigned ConstructionWelderTestMap so that it sits within the grid.
  • Disabled physics collision on placement (holographic) actors, as they are not actually physically there.
  • Added functionality to prevent placing during construction if the player is moving.
  • Begun work on HUD integration for construction. (No current functionality)
  • Weapon sounds should now be replicated properly.

Notes/Known Bugs
  • After being forcebly connected from a listen server, if you attempt to join another listen server in the same session, the game will crash.
  • Some error boxes will appear under the main menu. This is being resolved internally.
  • Users cannot use the escape menu after they've been shot (as they are turned into a spectator)
  • Sound is not played on splash screens
  • Crash when all players dead on LISTEN server. (Dedicated server will restart as intended)

Switching to the Development Branch
To switch to the Development Branch, right-click Centration in your library, select Properties. In the window that opens, select the 'BETAS' tab. In the drop-down menu on this tab, select dev - Development Branch, and click okay.

You are now on the dev branch.

This patch adds specific joystick detection and binding. A couple things to do to make sure this works as great as possible:

1) Make sure your joystick is connected, and drivers installed before starting the game.

2) Once the game has started, go to Options, Game Settings, Controls, and make sure that the joystick is active and saved. Then, a new row will show up called Joystick Assignment, which will let you check your keys and rebind them if desired. Make sure you are happy with the configuration before continuing.

In addition, lots of menu navigation issues have been fixed with the game. One of the other big issues was that the CP rewards have been significantly raised, and we have improved (hopefully) the easiness of some of the earlier missions, and fly patrol specifically,
