In every video we will show and explain a special aspect of the game and its rules and give some helpful advice. For those players troubled by savegame loading problems since the chapter 4 release we will be providing a patch in the next few days that will fix the issue. Please note that we cannot fully promise that all your savegames will be working again.

Puzzle Pirates - Puzzle Pirates
<p>Bundle up, pirates, because Old Man Winter is here with a limited edition <b>Blizzard Class Sloop</b> that is sure to nip at your toes! Freeze yer enemies in their tracks with icy cannons as ye glide across the frozen seas with the grace and frenzy of a January blizzard.</p>

<p><b>Grab yer hearties and defend yer flag!</b> Yes, ye should be repairin’ the hull or runnin’ the bilge, but snowball fights are so much fun! The hold includes plenty of obstacles and hiding spots for ye to enjoy the glee found in pelting the other team with a good handful of ferocity! <i>Unfortunately, ye can't really throw the snowballs in the hold. Trickster Jack Frost fused them together into a giant frozen lump, but they sure look inviting!</i></p>

Release date changed from Jan 6th to Jan 8th...
Hi everyone,

Just a heads up: we've had to push the release date back two days, to this Wednesday.

Two core reasons:

1) Our sub-title system needs finishing. We want to make sure it's working well before launch, due to popular demand for using it.

2) 32 bit OS support. The game uses a lot of memory, and getting it to run well on 32 bit machines has been a large challenge. We need just a little more time so that we can change the minimum specs to include 32 bit OSs.

That's it - the game itself is ready for release, and we can't wait until you can all play it!

An absolutely massive patch has just landed (patch notes below) - this covers a huge amount of Survival improvements and additions. Please leave feedback on the forums, I really appreciate it!

  • Fixed description for AI Movers
  • Fixed description for Solar Panels
  • Set default FPS to 25, due to people making videos at 29.97 fps
  • Removed Manufacture bot in Creative mode. Apologies.
  • Removed Orbital Energy Transmitter. Oops.
  • Jetpack still on J, but configurable before the game starts
  • Stats now on alt-J
  • Solar panels open quickly if they spawn nearby during the day
  • AI mover will no longer attempt to move to storage hoppers in nullspace
  • Fix to compensate bad archives
  • Fix bad player settings
  • Added SFX for battery blocks (based on charge level)
  • Added SFX for PTGs
  • Added lerped ranged emission to particles
  • Added LODs for torch lights
  • The upshot is that torches in Survival are now a lot faster, but slightly less impressive!
