The overwhelming response during the EVE Online holiday sale was wonderful to see, and we look forward to the (mis)adventures of this legion of new pilots that has begun to swarm our universe.
To show our appreciation, and make up for any inconvenience you many have experienced due to the issues we had, we will be extending the game time of all those who bought accounts during the $2 Flash Sale by an additional seven (7) days. This extension of game time will occur in the coming weeks, before the next billing cycle.

Thank you for joining our EVE community, and we wish you the best in your rise to power among the stars.

General - Add -noonlineconfirm Launch Option, if for some reason you don't like the Are You Sure? box. - Add green lifebars for perfect, and dark lifebars for your last lifebar in Downs. Thanks, Brady! - Add "PERFECT!" text that we've had sitting around for ever and ever. Belated thanks again, Brady! - Assists getting hit then healing no longer counts as a perfect.
Gameplay Bugfixes - Fix Painwheel meter error during Install: Install, tag out, gain meter above what you Installed at, tag back in. Thank you to FecalFeast (why couldn't it be something like CandyFlavoredFunClouds, sigh) for initially pointing this out. - Fortune's burst hitbox is now the same height as everyone else's, thanks to Baiken and BrokenLoose for the reminder! I kept forgetting to do this. - Fix wrong extra frame of attack leniency before jump startup, for everyone. You can still enter buttons on the first frame of jump startup and they will come out the first frame you are airborne, but you can no longer enter buttons BEFORE that. :^P (Previously, PP~Up with 1f timing could result in a jump attack or airdash coming out after jumping.) Thank you to faerie for finding this. - Parasoul big fix! She had two insidious scripting errors cutting off animations early. Her jump-land is now the standard 2f (instead of 0f), and her jump takeoff is now the standard 4f (instead of 3f). Every combo I could find still works, but in the unlikely event that you notice this causing something to not work, say so in the comments. It's probably staying fixed, though. :^)
Biiiiiiiiiig Baaaaaaaaaaaaaand - Seria Sing -> Daisy Pusher no longer works on Big Band at full screen distance...any closer, though, and he's toast. It still works at the regular distance on all other characters, and at the "regular" character distance on Big Band. - Fix his burst hitbox size to be the same as everyone else's. Was too small. - New sounds! cr.LK, etc. - j.MK stays held out for a shorter amount of time. - s.MP sped up, now 1f faster than c.MP - Giant Step all versions now 3f faster startup; now uses Sound Stun for longer hitstun; can link off L/M versions if you have not yet used sound stun in your combo; all versions now have better visuals. - Giant Step H quake part now cannot be crouch-blocked, you must jump, but you can always jump it. The quake will not combo during regular hitstun. The quake will now OTG, and has Sound Stun property. - Add 20f extra buffer period to input supers at the last hit of A-Train, like Diamond Drop has.

Contagion is still on sale for 50% off for a couple more days for the Steam Holiday Sale. Due to the sales we received a number of users excited to purchase games as quickly as possible to avoid forgetting later and this led to some neglecting to read the System Requirements where XP was not supported.
We already put out a large patch before Xmas and had no plans to avoid works the rest of the year through the holidays so we put XP Support on our priority list and are very happy to announce Contagion now runs on Windows XP. We will continue to optimize and improve performance of the game hopefully leading to supporting lower minimum system requirements (will be adding XP to it soon as my kid stop's screaming into my ear).
For those curious about Linux and Mac I can only say that we've made progress and are taking it just as seriously and will release as soon as possible. Like XP there is no ETA on when they will release but we hope that the above efforts show we do commit to our community and pull through even with turkey, ham, kids, trees, Xmas shopping, etc gets int he way haha.
Here is the Changelog (Any complains about lack of Maps, Characters, Features, or Weapons will be removed as we've been clear about this for this update in past posts and due to unrealistic expectations. We're sorry but we'll add it when it's ready.)
SVN BUILD 3768
Windows XP support!
Added Kickstarter backer graffiti tag rewards (Stay out of Tatsur0's house!)
Optimized Shader code to aid support of XP.
Fixed voice icon that hovers over the player's heads when using Voice Chat.
Fixed additional props from Christmas update.
New props added to Aurora Estates.
Fixed nav_mesh errors in Cyprus Park and RoanokePD.
Removed unused elements from menu.
Some stuff we forgot as we improved the maps and celebrated the Holidays at the same time.
Also for those that missed it we made 2nd place in this year's IndieDB Indie of the Year Awards!
