A Stunning Minecraft Rendition Of Final Fantasy VIIt's hard not to get all wistful and teary-eyed when you watch these videos of Final Fantasy VI's various landmarks, faithfully recreated in Minecraft by builder Felix Trapper and set to glorious Nobuo Uematsu-composed music.

The Narshe and Opera videos are particularly impressive (and tear-jerking) if you've played Final Fantasy VI. And if you haven't, well, what the hell are you waiting for?

Check out all the vids below.

Narshe

This frost-filled city is the first thing you see when you open up Final Fantasy VI, and it's also one of the prettiest parts of the game. And that music. Oh man.

Figaro Castle

The castle where lovable brothers Edgar and Sabin were born and raised. Also it can transform into an underground sand ship because it's just baller like that.

Fanatic's Tower

Also known as the most annoying dungeon in Final Fantasy VI.

South Figaro

An overhead look at South Figaro, the quaint little city in which you can eventually steal peoples' clothes and use them to sneak past guards.

The Opera Scene

The best scene in Final Fantasy history, presented in all its harmonic glory.

The next Hitman game will be out on November 20 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, Square Enix said today in a press release.

There's also a preorder-exclusive bonus called Hitman: Sniper Challenge, available only if you preorder the game at a GameStop. Here's what Square Enix has to say about it:

Developed by IO Interactive A/S, a Square Enix studio, Hitman: Sniper Challenge is not part of the main game, but a stand-alone experience to reward fans who pre-order Hitman: Absolution. Players can don the suit of Agent 47 as he takes on an exclusive assassination assignment. From a balcony overlooking a rooftop gathering, players will be tasked with taking out Richard Strong, Jr., CEO of Stallion Armaments, along with his entire staff of bodyguards. Skilled players will capitalize on score multipliers, hidden secrets, unlock equipment upgrades and marvel at the many creative ways one can discretely dispose of a body while they work to fulfill their contract in the most efficient way possible.

Is there anything grosser than preorder bonuses? That, I do not know.

"I want to take all these rich kids into a poor environment and make them realize they can enjoy it." That's a bold statement from game designer Vander Caballero, who's leading the development of Papo & Yo.

But the upcoming PlayStation release aims for bold things, like letting players experience the dysfunctional relationship Caballero had with his alcoholic father through a video game. In the video, you'll also see how the imagination Caballero used to escape his challenging childhood informs the game's quirky mechanics. Papo & Yo charmed the hell out of me when I played it a few months ago and it's great to see the amount of passion being poured into this game. I can't wait to play it some more at E3.

While the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 get what's shaping up to be a pretty spectacular Fall of Cybertron, Nintendo Wii, 3DS and DS players get this.

Now I am not saying this isn't an excellent Transformers Prime game. I've not played it, so for all I know it could be spectacular. It just looks like origami robots in disguise.

This wouldn't be a bad thing if Transformers Prime weren't such a pretty CGI cartoon series. It's so lovely I bought the entire first season on Blu-ray even though it was already available on Netflix. I am a dedicated fan.

So I hope that we dedicated fans eventually get a Transformers Prime game as dark and pretty as the series.

Until then, we've got this, coming later this year from Activision and developers Now Production (Wii, 3DS) and Altron Corporation (DS). Hooray.

The Nintendo DSi Drops to $99 May 20One of the best values in gaming gets even better on May 20, when Nintendo drops the price of the DSi to $99.99, with its larger sibling the DSi XL at $129.99.

That's a $50 drop over current retail, with the $149.99 DSi's price effectively slashed by 33 percent.

What a wonderful price point for the DSi to be at. For under $100 gamers old and new will gain access to a digital and retail library filled with more than 2,000 titles, a relatively substantial portion of them worth playing. And $99 is a sweet spot for just about any electronics; one dollar over and you're into triple digits, but $99? That's not so bad.

The new price will also help separate the DSi from the newer 3DS in the market. Previously only $20 apart, the $169.99 3DS is now obviously the higher-end product, at least in the eyes of consumers that still subscribe to the notion that the higher the price the better the product.

Why now? Here's what Nintendo's official announcement had to say: "The new suggested retail prices provide an even greater incentive to pick up the systems, and provide an easy option for parents who want to introduce younger kids to their first portable games. With graduations looming, Father's Day approaching and the start of the summer travel season imminent, the new suggested retail prices appeal to all kinds of shoppers."

I just wish Nintendo had dropped the price before Mother's Day. I wonder if my mom will accept a rain check.

Hey! You've Got Ninja Gaiden in My Warriors OrochiWarriors Orochi 2, a game that brings together characters from the Dynasty Warriors series and the Samurai Warriors series to fight against hundreds of enemy soldiers in epic battlegrounds is being ported to the PSP as Warriors Orochi 2 Special. The new game, like Dynasty Warriors VS for the 3DS, will feature guest characters as bonus playable characters. This time it's Rachel from Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Images also show Ryu Hayabusa as a bonus character. The character, Ayane, was a bonus character in the PS3 version of Warriors Orochi 2, but it is unclear if she will return for Warriors Orochi 2 Special.

Another added feature will be a reset function to restore character stats to their original starting level. Also, by copying a save data of the PS3 version of the game to a memory stick and starting a game on the PSP version, all characters will automatically be unlocked.
