North Korea seems rough. It might be a wonderful place to visit. I've never been, so I honestly do not know. The Vice documentary on visiting the secretive country didn't exactly make it seem like a good time.

This video, however, does its best to get you packing your bags and ready for a trip to North Korea. This isn't actually an ad from the People's Republic, but rather, a parody spot for an upcoming news and entertainment iPad app called Punch!.

Leggy Robot Girls Release Motion Capture Data for Your PleasureIt's springtime. And when you say "spring" in Japan, images of cherry blossoms and picnics leap to mind.

Screw that. You should be thinking about illuminated, dancing robot girls.

Japanese pop group Perfume, whom Kotaku has featured before, is releasing a new single called "Spring of Life". The video turns the leggy trio into dancing androids.

The video shoot took 27 hours, and the actual video seems reminiscent of the recent Kara demo—though, much happier and upbeat!

In Japan, there's a long, proud history of pop songs about spring. Back in the 1970s, Candies, who Perfume echoes in multiple ways, recorded "Haru Ichiban" (First Storm of Spring) in the 1976. That song has become the spring song in Japan.

Many spring pop songs use cherry blossoms to evoke the season—something that Perfume sidesteps entirely with robots and lights. Yet, the tune still feels very spring-like.

What's also cool is that Perfume, as TechInAsia pointed out, even released its motion capture data set on social coding site Github, enabling people to take it and make all sorts of interesting and odd animations—such as macho Pikachus, dancing Honda's Asimo, and the inevitable Hatsune Miku version.

Dancing robots and macho Pikachus. Good things have come from this video so far. Very good.

Culture Smash is a daily dose of things topical, interesting and sometimes even awesome—game related and beyond.

Olan Rogers wants to make three movies before he dies. One is a Star Trek flick. Another is a Samurai Jack movie. The third is a Mega Man film. Well, that's one down!

Shot for $700 and with the help of some unpaid actor volunteers, it won't win any Oscars. But for fans of Mega Man, this might be the only new thing you see the Blue Bomber in for a while, so you may as well watch!

It's not the first time we've seen FIFA 12's misfiring physics engine go bananas, and it probably won't be the last. But for now, this is easily my favourite example of how something so busted can also be something so beautiful.

Let's pretend, just for a moment, that mobile juggernaut Angry Birds and social darling Draw Something weren't products of the 21st century, but the 20th. That they weren't delivered wirelessly, but on floppy disks.

This is what they'd look like. I doubt I'm alone in thinking they look better.

Assassin's Creed™: Director's Cut Edition

Final Fantasy Meets Assassin's Creed in this DLC CrossoverThought Square Enix was stopping with Mass Effect suits for Final Fantasy XIII-2 downloadable content crossovers? Nope! The latest issue of Japanese game magazine Famitsu shows an Ezio Auditore da Firenze Assassin's Creed outfit as DLC.

The outfit apparently is available for Noel Kreiss, Final Fantasy XIII-2's male protagonist. It looks to be Ezio's outfit from Assassin's Creed Revelations. Expect more details once Famitsu hits Japanese newsstands tomorrow.

No word whether or not Square Enix is planning this DLC for the West.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Jenna Jameson Had No Problem Faking Sex in Front of Her DadBack when Jenna Jameson was still doing porn, she appeared in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City as blue movie actress Candy Suxxx. As recount in the new book Jacked, Jameson showed up to the recording session with her father.

For the session, Jameson was motion captured as she was on her back, feigning intercourse.

Vice City developers Dan Houser and Navid Khonsari were apparently uncomfortable with the notion of Jameson faking an orgasm in front of her dad. Khonsari is quoted as telling Dan that he didn't have a problem with her father, but he did not feel comfortable asking her to moan and groan as if she was having sex.

When it came time for Jameson to record her orgasm, Houser awkwardly asked Jameson to act like she was excited. Jameson wasn't sure what he meant, and Dan apparently told her to act like she was really happy or having a great time or eating a chocolate bar.

Jameson asked if she was supposed to act like she was eating a chocolate bar or like she was having sex. Houser told her to act like she was having sex, and they nailed the scene, in front of pops and all.

Some people may think this Skyrim music video is "epic". Others will think it looks like something you'd see as an intro to a song on Eurovision.

Whichever side of that dragon-sized divide you fall, you've got to admire the work that went into this performance of the blockbuster RPG's main theme.

If the violinist looks familiar, that's because it's Lindsey Sterling, who we've featured here before as a rather spritely Link from Zelda.

This Terminator Figure Looks so Real It'll Ask For Your Clothes, Boots & MotorcycleHot Toys brings the creepy realness once more with this Terminator 2 figure, which aside from some cute little zippers has a likeness to Arnold Schwarzenegger that borders on the terrifying.

Standing 12.5" and coming with a ton of accessories (including gloves, alternate hands, four guns and a detachable hole in his head), the thing's eyeballs even track you while you rotate the figure in your hands.

It's out in October, and will sell for around $230. Check in later in the year with your favourite comic shop or online toy retailer!
