As you might have noticed, our Holiday Survivor achievement was not triggering. We have squashed the issue and now it works perfectly. The new build should be up in no time, it is in Steam hands now.
To help alleviate the frustration of those of you who couldn't get the achievement, we have made it possible to get it playing with the difficulty set to Easy.
We are sorry for the inconvenience and as always, thanks a lot for all your support!

It has been a month and so since the last AI War sortie post, so we'll refresh the list of players who are interested in organizing a game over the holiday and new years. The gist is: you post a comment if you are actively interested and others will add you as a friend on Steam (and of course you add those who have already posted).
Please include the following information in your post (irrelevant comments will be removed):
- Country, timezone and roughly what time you can play, - Expansions you own, - How dedicated you will be to a long-term multiplayer game, - If know you can host or not, or have Hamachi or similar VPN solution, and any other information you find pertinent.
Lastly, note that AI War products are 75% off during the Steam holiday sale which runs until the 31st, along with our $2 coop puzzle game "Tidalis."

As far as our titles go, you'll be able to grab Tidalis for 80% off the $10 tag, and AI War plus all DLC for 75% off--or go for the Alien Bundle and get even more savings. If you or any of your loved ones are in for some two buck Tidalis and/or all of AI War for the cost of a fast food combo, best not to miss this great opportunity to pick up some copies on the cheap.
A quick note that our games Tidalis and AI War are on massive discount as part of Steam's Holiday Sale that runs now through December 31st. Keep an eye on the Holiday Sale Gift Pile challenges page during the duration of the event as well for a chance to win every single game in Steam's catalog and other prizes.

Once again we find ourselves in one of the most magical times of the year. A time when dreams can come true and a time to remember what is most important us. World peace, intergalactic robots and deeply discounted games.
Have you been nice this past year? You have? Well then you may get a gift from The Great Gift Pile for each objective that you complete. Or you may get coal. If you get coal don’t worry because it still has its uses. Maybe you can use it to write a letter to Santa and tell him how much you are enjoying the coal. Or use it as fuel to stay warm and cozy. But maybe you just want to hoard it because you think there may be some other use for it.

To celebrate all this runner-uppering, for the next twenty-four hours, Portal 2 is 75% off on Steam. If you're paying in US dollars, that means you can buy Portal 2 right now for seven dollars and fifty cents! If you're paying in non-US dollars, you'll have to boot up a spreadsheet and do the math yourself, but we guarantee the result will be just as startling.
And if you already own Portal 2, might we suggest you buy a few copies to give away as gifts? No? Well, unless you somehow skipped the last couple sentences, too late - it's suggested. Good luck getting the idea out of your head. You may as well buy some copies before it drives you insane. Sure, it's the second best gift you can give this season, but at a price you'd expect from the seventeenth or eighteenth best gift. Plus, let's say you give someone the number one game of the year. How are you going to top that next year? You'll have to buy them a car. Be smart about this.
In our last blog post, we announced that both the VGA and X-Play awards had nominated Portal 2 for Game of the Year. How'd things turn out? Well, you'll be happy to learn, we just barely lost both of them, helping cement our frankly historic dominance of the Second Best Game of the Year category. And the good news doesn't end there: We also grabbed the number two spot in Paste Magazine's first annual GOTY list, while clawing our way to a dramatic second place victory on C-Net. Just so you don't think we're getting cocky, though, the Associated Press and MSN UK put us at the top of their respective lists. You can't not win them all.
