As you might have noticed, our Holiday Survivor achievement was not triggering. We have squashed the issue and now it works perfectly. The new build should be up in no time, it is in Steam hands now.

To help alleviate the frustration of those of you who couldn't get the achievement, we have made it possible to get it playing with the difficulty set to Easy.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and as always, thanks a lot for all your support!

The gist is: you post a comment if you are actively interested and others will add you as a friend on Steam (and of course you add those who have already posted).

Please include the following information in your post (irrelevant comments will be removed):

- Country, timezone and roughly what time you can play,
- Expansions you own,
- How dedicated you will be to a long-term multiplayer game,
- If <i>know</i> you can host or not, or have Hamachi or similar VPN solution,
and any other information you find pertinent.


Lastly, note that AI War products are 75% off during the Steam holiday sale which runs until the 31st, along with our $2 coop puzzle game "Tidalis."

In our last blog post, we announced that both the VGA and X-Play awards had nominated Portal 2 for Game of the Year. How'd things turn out? Well, you'll be happy to learn, we just barely lost both of them, helping cement our frankly historic dominance of the Second Best Game of the Year category. And the good news doesn't end there: We also grabbed the number two spot in <a href="http://www.pastemagazine.com/blogs/lists/2011/12/the-20-best-videogames-of-2011.html?p=2">Paste Magazine's first annual GOTY list</a>, while clawing our way to a dramatic <a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/2300-9995_7-10010423-9.html?s=0&o=10010423">second place victory on C-Net</a>. Just so you don't think we're getting cocky, though, the <a href=" http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_YE_TOP_10_VIDEO_GAMES?SITE=MOSTP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT">Associated Press</a> and <a href="http://games.uk.msn.com/galleries/top-20-games-of-2011">MSN UK</a> put us at the <i>top</i> of their respective lists. You can't not win them all.
