Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad with Rising Storm - [TW]Yoshiro
First I would like to thank everybody for their pateince once again as we worked last night to get the beta out. It was a crazy mad rush here at the office, and it was great to see players in the game an enjoying it last night!
But our work is not yet done. Several issues have been highlighted that we wouldn't have found without this beta test. First and foremost is the crash in the server browser. This appears to happen because of the ammount of servers and players. We are looking into it now and it should be among the first things fixed.
Our install script for the game also did not appear to function last night and we are working on getting that corrected today. As such there are a few files you should run manually until we get that addressed.

The website Steamcontests.com is giving away 5 keys for Nuclear Dawn. The only thing you need to do is make noises of what explosions would sound like according to you.

Recommended Server Hosting Partners In a first for a game of this kind, Tripwire Interactive will be allowing individual server admins as well as GSP's to host ranked servers for the game. We feel the "walled garden" approach many developers take to server hosting makes it difficult for the clan/gaming communities as well as stifling mod and custom mapping development -two things that are very important to the success and longevity of any multi-player game. We have also put together a list of Recommended Server Hosting Partners that we've been working closely with to ensure they provide a good experience for our fans and game server admins as well as meeting the hardware requirements of the game. The list of recommended server hosting partners, as follows:

This one has a number of balanced tweaks that are notable, as well as one performance tweak that may or may not actually do anything. We'll be curious to hear more feedback on the performance thing a wider variety of scenarios and machine setups.
In terms of the balance changes: 1. The Spirecraft Martyrs have been hit with the nerf bat really hard, thanks to player urging. 2. The Zenith Virtal Shredders have as well, but in general their swarm mechanics have also been simplified. 3. And lastly, super-stacked forcefields have also been heavily nerfed. Stacking forcefields is still a smart thing to do, but you can no longer set up a chain of them where one is being repaired under the next in an endless rotation.
There was also a bugfix to the recently-added ActivateHighestEfficiencyLowPowerEnergyReactor and PutLowestEfficiencyActiveEnergyReactorIntoLowPower keybinds.
<i>This is a standard update that you can download through the in-game updater itself, if you already have 5.000 or later. When you launch the game, you'll see the notice of the update having been found if you're connected to the Internet at the time. If you don't have 5.000 or later, you can download that <a href="http://www.arcengames.com/aiwar_buy.php">here.</a></i>
