Keep Your World of Warcraft Account Safe With One Simple Phone CallBlizzard is offering one more way to keep your World of Warcraft and StarCraft II account safe, this time by making a standard, toll-free phone call to authorize any weird login attempts.

The creators of Warcraft and Diablo have already given paranoid players the physical Battle.net Authenticator and Mobile Authenticator app to keep their accounts protected. Today, the Dial-in Authenticator becomes available for folks who'd prefer to keep it old school and use their landlines for security. It's only available to Battle.net accounts in the U.S. right now, but that may change.

Blizzard has put together a FAQ for anyone curious about the dial-up option.

The Tester 2: Episode 2: "Step It Up" Liveblog: Military Precision Insomniac's Ted Price guest stars as the cast of the Tester 2 take on a task that will truly put their game testing skills to task: Air Force drills.

They say it's in order to test precision and accuracy, but I think they just want to make Big Fazeek cry, and judging by the next episode clip at the end of the premier show, I'd say he deserves it.

PlayStation Store Update: A Rush Of Air, Mist & MusicThis week's North American PlayStation Store update is stuffed with new musical selections for Rock Band 3, Def Jam Rapstar and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, new jams that far outweigh the number of new playable games for the PlayStation 3 and PSP.

Filmmaker Brad Crawford wants to chronicle the past, present and future of the Japanese arcade game scene with a project dubbed 100 Yen: The Japanese Arcade Experience, a lovely looking documentary that needs some financial assistance. Got a few bucks?

If so, you can help fund the rest of 100 Yen, which for now exists as the trailer you see above. Featured in 100 Yen are professional Street Fighter players like Daigo Umehara and Ryan "Gootecks" Guitierrez, Satoshi Numata, a professor of video games at the Osaka Electronic University, and Arcade Mania author Brian Ashcraft (Eh? Never heard of 'im).

Have a burning interest in Japanese arcade games and want to travel to faraway lands with the help of video? Maybe you'll want to help fund the project at IndieGoGo, which is still a few thousand bucks away from meeting its financial goals.

Or maybe you'll just want to watch the 100 Yen trailer to see what a thriving arcade game scene is like.

Europe Gets The LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector's Edition ShaftNorth American PlayStation 3 owners are getting a positively swell premium edition of LittleBigPlanet 2 next year, but Europe? Unless you absolutely adore SteelBook cases, I think you're going to feel slighted.

LittleBigPlanet 2's collectors edition in Europe does come with the same digital content, giving you cool Sackboy costumes that make the LBP mascot look like Tron Legacy's Clu, The Muppets' Gonzo or PlayStation heroes Ratchet & Clank. But sadly, Europeans will not get plush Sackboys or LittleBigPlanet bookends. Bummer.

Maybe put in an import? The North American collector's edition is only $79.99 USD, y'know.

We've been impressed by what we've seen so far of the Wii version of Sonic Colors. How does the DS version look? Pretty colorful.

Could there be two good Sonic Games in stores on November 16? I'm not sure my heart could handle it. I started off preordering Sonic Colors on the Wii for the nifty hat, but now I'm actively looking forward to playing.

And then there's the DS version, which I haven't paid much attention to until Sega released this trailer earlier today. Might have to put my money down there as well.

Anyone else have their hopes up for next week?

C.R.E.A.M. is not the best Wu-Tang Clan song. Can we agree on this? The best is Protect Ya Neck, which is part of a Wu-Tang Clan downloadable song pack some of you can rap to today.

Protect Ya Neck is one of four songs from members of the famous East Coast hip-hop crew being added — for pay — to this fall's rap karaoke game Def Jam Rapstar. (Read our review and hear me rap to the game, if you dare.) C.R.E.A.M. is already available on the disc

The pack consists of Ghostface Killah's Cherchez LaGhost, Method Man and Redman's How High, Raekwon's Ice Cream and the whole Wu-Tang Clan's Protect Ya Neck. The four-song bundle costs 560 Microsoft points or $7. Songs are sold separately for 160 points or $2. The 360 version of the Wu-Tang pack is available now. The pack will be coming to the PlayStation 3 for download as well by Thanksgiving, according to a spokesperson for the game. The Wii version of Rapstar does not support downloadable content.

The Def Jam folks are also selling two new freestyle beats for the game, but downloadable through the Xbox 360. There is one each from producers 9th Wonder and DJ Premier.

Call of Duty® (2003)

Report: Call Of Duty To Go Back To The Future, Recruit 'Space Marines'The people who helped create sci-fi horror adventure Dead Space may be taking the Call of Duty series to its final frontier, bringing the bloody war game into space and into the future.

According to a report from Gamasutra citing "industry sources," Activision studio Sledgehammer Games may be creating a Call of Duty "set in the future and feature, for lack of a better term, space Marines." The series has bounced from World War II to modern day to the Cold War era, fighting battles fictional and historically based, but never has it ventured into a science fiction based future.

Earlier this year, Activision noted that Sledgehammer would "extend the franchise into the action-adventure genre," but did not provide further specifics about that teams entry in the series.

Another Call of Duty game is planned for release late next year from an unspecified developer.
