This launch trailer gives you a good look at Infinity Blade, the role-playing game for iPhone 4 (and iPad and iPod Touch) being built by Chair Entertainment and Epic Games, whose Unreal Engine makes the whole thing go.
Chair has said they think they've got the potential "best looking handheld game ever made," and it's hard to argue with visuals like that. This is a trailer viewed on the PC, but the iPhone 4's Retina display should do it plenty of justice. And the swipe controls shown look like they're suited to both device and game.
Color me intrigued. A solid RPG on the iPhone? I bet I could kill one hell of a long cross-country flight with that thing.
Clarification: This game will be playable on the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPod Touch, and the iTouch 4.
NeoGAF user water_wendi started a couple of playthroughs in Fallout: New Vegas before deciding to try a complete pacifist run. Fifty-one hours later, he finished the game, with no humans nor animals harmed in the making of his story.
He thinks it's possible to go 70 hours in this game without killing anyone, too, calculating about 2 to 3 hours on a sidequest where kills aren't necessary, and another 10 if you explore and loot everything. All told, he's logged about 100 hours in the game, and is putting it away for now.
It's impressive, but left unsaid is how many times, if any, he found a gun in a locker and just said the hell with it, blew someone's head off, and reloaded his previous gamesave. Or maybe he really was as pure as his messiah rating proclaims.

Kotaku has already put Kinect through its paces, testing its voice and face recognition capabilities and how well it performs under imperfect lighting conditions. We haven't tested it naked (as far as I know...) but other people have.
IGN UK went there, asking "Can you play Kinect naked?" Yes, you can and it won't detect your "todger flapping around in the wind" according to their bare-ass scientific study. There's video of nude Kinect play in action, confirming that the Xbox 360 camera has no issue detecting pasty game journalist flesh.
The other naked Kinect concern in question: "How do I delete the naked pictures taken while playing Dance Central?" We'd suppose this applies to naked pictures taken while playing any Kinect game with picture taking features, but this one was asked on the Dance Central forums.
"I was trying out the Kinect Dance Central game and I was getting hot so I took off my [clothes]," writes one Kinect user. "I had no idea that the game was going to take A BUNCH OF PICTURES OF ME WHILE DANCING WITH NO CLOTHES ON!!! I can go back and look at these pictures but HOW DO I DELETE THEM?!!! HELP!!!!"
Look here, Kinect nudists:
My Xbox > System Settings > Memory > Hard Drive > Games > Dance Central

Holiday shopping madness is just around the corner, with deals from post-Thanksgiving "Black Friday" sales heralding video game savings. In addition to temporary price cuts, it appears new PlayStation 3, PSP and Nintendo DS bundles are en route.
Supposed scans from Sears' Black Friday print ads point to a pretty good deal on the PlayStation 3, which looks to include Game of the Year Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and a copy of The Karate Kid on Blu-ray that you could probably sell on eBay. Not too shabby at $299 USD.
Arguably as good a deal is Sears' Black Friday PSP offering. For $129, you get a PSP-3000 with a copy of LittleBigPlanet and The Karate Kid on UMD. With UMD movies becoming more rare, that version of the Jaden Smith will surely fetch a high price on the secondary market.
On the Nintendo front...
...it appears that red and green Nintendo DSi handhelds are coming for Christmas. Sears will sell it for $149 USD with a copy of Mario Party DS.
Finally, on the Xbox 360 side, Sears will sell the 4GB version of the console with a copy of Halo: Reach included for $199 USD. A deal, yes, but not the ideal Xbox 360 on which to play Halo: Reach. Buyer beware.

Sony's recent slashing of the PSPgo's price worldwide has had a noticeable effect on sales of the download-only device, at least in Japan. The regularly triple-digit selling PSPgo just had one of its best weeks ever overseas.
The smaller, lighter version of Sony's PlayStation Portable just moved another 3,000 units in Japan, managing to outsell the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2. It came within spitting distance of the Nintendo DS Lite, but will have to settle for the glory of seventh place in this week's Media Create chart.
Elsewhere, the standard PSP is still going strong, as is the Nintendo DSi and PlayStation 3. The numbers await you below.

True story. Earlier today Ice T tweeted that he was hoping to get Call of Duty: Black Ops early because he's a fan. I bugged some Activision folks about it and they called Ice T to hook him up. That's right, I did Ice T a solid. Now he owes me one. :D

When Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. collection comes stateside next month, it will come in a pretty little package for Wii owners. If you're a fan of Mario, you're probably going to want to grab this slick limited edition package.
Included in the Super Mario All-Stars collection are Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3, presented with 16-bit Super Nintendo era graphics, updated for the Wii. Also in the package will be a soundtrack CD, with selected music from titles ranging from Super Mario Bros. to Super Mario Galaxy, and an illustrated 32-page commemorative booklet.
Great for playing, great for sitting on a shelf and staring at longingly with perhaps a wistful sigh thrown in. Here's what thirty bucks American will get you on December 12, if you're game.
