The Whores (And Man Whores) Of Fable IIIXbox 360 and PC role-playing game Fable III, not one to shy away from the sexier side of humanity, contains prostitutes. Here are some of them. Warning: coin purses ahead.

This image comes from an upcoming Fable III artbook, which is mostly full of beautiful images of uniforms, posters, characters and environments. Then you get to these two pages and it's...well, it's fantastic.

The full image is below. And yes, before you ask, it's wallpaper-sized.

That's quite a tease from Lionhead senior artist Ian Faichnie, too, considering the ones they were allowed to make.

The Argument For Marvel Vs. Capcom 3's Super-Simple Controls

I know there are plenty of naysayers on this subject, but I welcome this addition. Mainly, because in casual situations where I have friends over who would think MvC3 is an alluring game to watch but are too intimidated to play, this mode breaks the ice and allow them to get in on the action.

In almost 20 years of playing fighting games, I can't count how many times I've tried to get beginners into the genre, but they lose interest because the learning curve was too steep. Some of us have that dedication to learn our characters and master moves, but many more of us don't. Ever notice why more casual players go for fighting series like Tekken, DoA, and Soul Calibur? Pressing buttons in those games (even wildly), can give the impression that your characters are doing great things - even if you're a beginner and have no idea what your doing. Pure empowerment out of the gate.

But this easy mode in a (potentially) popular game like MvC3 might help to transition a new crop of what would be casual players into dedicated ones. First, those newbies would mess around with characters in the roster that look cool and play easily. Then, when they battle against other, more experienced players or CPU opponents, they will see moves & supers that they can't do in Easy mode, which will pique their interest. At a crossroads, some of those new players will come to a decision to leave the safety of "Easy operation" and go to the "lab" (or training) in order to learn to play their favorite character(s), straight-up.

This won't be the case with everyone, but it will help to create more fans of the genre in the end and that is a great thing if we want more fighting games down the road. I would ask of Capcom, though, that for online play that they do put a filter that would allow to exclude "Easy Operation" players and "Normal Operation" players, that way experienced players & novices can play on more even terms. I don't mind mixing the two, but if I know the community, many hardcore players will have a baby if they have to fight newbies all the time.

I'm in the beta. The game is basically minesweeper except instead of mines it's heaps of bullshit and the goal is to step in them rather than avoid them.

This Is Why People Play Minecraft

General rule of thumb: you can't say that you don't "get" the appeal until you actually try the game in survival mode.

Far too many people think they know what the game is about before having played it and pass (often negative) judgement on it. This might work with your generic run of the mill game, but Minecraft's appeal works in a variety of subtle levels that you don't truly grasp until you actually play it. "An open world sandbox game where you mine for stuff and craft it" is the most common description, but it's not informative of what the game is about at all. Neither is playing the demo for five minutes.

This game is an exception, not a rule. Those trying to be "edgy" by saying they don't "get" the appeal despite never having played it simply have no idea what they're talking about, period.

Driving sim Gran Turismo 5 will allow users to create their own tracks. Here's how you build one, then go race on it!

You can't build your own course out of thin air, of course. There's six years worth of rendering on those stages and roads, so you won't be playing LEGO Gran Turismo, making tracks in the shape of a Final Fantasy character. Instead just pick which of a certain stage's many alternative routes you want to combine, choose a time of day, set the weather, the stage points then you're good to go.

Can't wait to make a NASCAR track in the middle of the desert and fill the race with combi vans...

Yakuza Producer Looks Browner On Television Toshihiro Nagoshi is known for two things: Being very brown and making video games. He looks even browner on television.

The Yakuza franchise, which has already seen a movie adaptation, is currently getting a television adaptation in Japan. The program is based on the new PSP game, Yakuza: New Chapter Black Panther.

Yakuza Producer Looks Browner On Television Nagoshi has undergone a radical fashion transformation. "I feel refreshed when my sweaty skin is tanned," the toasted game designer said last year.

According to Nagoshi, his appearance the Yakuza: New Chapter Black Panther show isn't a regular thing. The top image is a still from his cameo debut. He looks even more tanned than he does in real life. That's because they say the camera adds ten browns. Yakuza Producer Looks Browner On Television

This Wii Remote Is Made By LEGO, Not NintendoIf you're sick to death of Nintendo and its subtle, stylish colours for Wii Remotes, you could always pick up one of these official LEGO controllers.

Due out later this week and selling for $40, it's, well, exactly as advertised: it's a LEGO-branded Wii Remote controller. Sadly, it's not a complete kit, as it doesn't allow you to build the thing from scratch; instead, it's just a standard Wii Remote with some spots for LEGO bricks on the front and back.

It's still pretty neat, though, as you couldn't recreate an Indiana Jones barfight or build a Swiss chalet on a proper Wii Remote.

[thanks Csquared!]

Darth Vader Can Sure Take A BeatingThe very talented animation team at Blur Studio have produced two more cinematic trailers for upcoming Star Wars title Force Unleashed II. They're very pretty.

The one above shows that Stormtroopers combust just fine, while below, well...I've seen Darth Vader lose a lot of limbs in my time, but I don't think I've ever seen him take a beat-down like that.

New Dragon Quest Food For You To Eat Luida's Bar is a Dragon Quest restaurant in Tokyo's Roppongi. It's been opened since earlier this year, so the dishes might have become old hat. Good thing the restaurant's menu is getting new DQ themed food.

New Dragon Quest Food For You To Eat There are 11 new items on the menu that range from sweets to spaghetti. There is also a recently opened "Royal Room" that allows patrons to enjoy food, drinks and karaoke.

New Dragon Quest Food For You To Eat The restaurant was originally opened to coincide with the release of Dragon Quest VI on the Nintendo DS.
