The winner of best overall infographic for First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! campaign includes the release and successes of the Playstation in its timeline charting the growth of childhood obesity.
Found among the eleven significant dates are the 1995 release of the Playstation in the U.S. and the 2005 milestone when the console reached 100 million units sold. Other important dates in the graphic include McDonald's introduction of its supersize drinks, the opening of the first shopping mall food court and the introduction of high fructose corn syrup.
Here's the site's take on the graphic (seen above) and why it won first place.
Jenn "Cash's time line showing the rise of childhood obesity compared to the growing amount of food we eat and TV we watch is a sobering reminder of what we need to do to make our children healthier. It's incredibly well-sourced and well-illustrated and takes home our top prize."

Hey, maybe it's the sun doing all of that real time damaging?
Thanks to reader Dedwan Innuendo for today's damage-inducing take on Rubens. Submit your own shop at #TAYpics and maybe we'll feature your effort in a future installment.
Late last month we got our first look at the Halo: Reach Deliver Hope live action flick, packed with a minute or so of explosions and flying Spartans. Today we get a look at the extended mix.
In this new cut of the Deliver Hope video we get two-and-a-half minutes of future warfare, but still the same explosive ending.

I bought dental floss today. I love dental floss. Flossing isn's so big in Japan. A dentist here once told me that the dental IQ of Japanese people is somewhat lower than Americans. I have noticed that it has gotten better over the years, however.
That's the thing that always amazes me about America. You'll see loads of overweight people, but everyone has beautiful smiles. While in Japan, people generally seem to be in better physical shape, but, like I said, the dental IQ might be lacking.
You notice fewer kids with braces here. People don't mind crooked smiles, which actually isn't so bad once you get used to the notion!

Behold! The Nintendo Entertainment System Coffee Table
What makes this promotional video isn't the Sports Champions gameplay. Rather, it's the sheer number of outfits worn in it. I lost count. No, really, I did.
The manga freeze-frames are a nice touch, too.
Sports Champion is an upcoming game PlayStation Move launch time. Check out our review.
Japan's Yamagata Prefecture is Japan's biggest cherry producer. So naming a new learning institution "Sakuranbo Shougakkou" ("Cherry Elementary School") after the area's produce would make sense. That is, until you check the internet.
There is a doujin adult game brand by the same name. Put the school's name さくらんぼ小学校 in Google, and there are links to questionable illustrations of underage children right up there at the top.
The official name of the school is Higashine Municipal Cherry Elementary School, or "Higashine Shiritsu Sakuranbo Shougakkou" — a little too close for comfort for some as the adult game brand is "Shiritsu Sakuranbo Shougakkou" (note: the brand uses different kanji characters for "shiritsu").
The name was selected last year, and the school was unaware of the connection. The school did check to see if other schools carried the cherry name, but did not look online to see what results the moniker turned up.
The existence of the website, which not only features illustrations of minors but also carries adult games, was not known until the city received an anonymous email alerting the authorities of its existence.
Parents have since expressed concern upon hearing of the connection. The city's mayor has said that the school's name will not be changed. "If we change the name," the mayor said, "that will justify this adult world all the more."
Sakuranbo Shougakkou wil be open this spring at the start of the Japanese school year.

It's a shame Lee Camara isn't making any more of these replica Team Fortress 2 weapons, because I would not just buy one, I would buy 18, and enough coloured jumpsuits to go around.
As an artist, all were made on commission for various cosplayers and Team Fortress 2 fans. Such a tease, that we got to see these four, and not a sniper rifle or medi-gun.
And rock n' roll was never about snide commentary or caring what other people think. Print campaign from guitar company Sparrow, as seen on Ads of the World, via GameSetWatch.
A man named Matt has built a coffee table. It is designed to look like the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is awesome.
Here is how it compares size-wise to an actual NES. The coffee table is bigger!
This is more than an enormous Nintendo Entertainment System. It is an enormous NES with a fully functionally, jumbo NES controller.
"Opening the lid reveals the storage for the controller, or even can store remote controls and game controllers in there for easy access/storage," Matt tells Kotaku. "The controller ports are actually two power outlets so I can plug in my laptop to charge."
It is also possible to open up the back of the NES coffee table for more available storage space. Check out a video of the coffee table in action here.

If you thought the recent Street Fighter movie was bad, spare a thought for the King of Fighters movie, which is even worse.
Not that this is a bad thing. It looks so bad that it's worth a watch, if friends and booze were involved. Just...leave your feelings for King of Fighters - and Maggie Q - at the door.
