Updates to Half-Life 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Half-Life 2
  • Fix getting stuck after doing level transition from d2_prison_08 to d3_c17_01, the Nova Prospekt end battle

If you have a save game that causes you to be stuck in the teleporter with Alyx after this level transition you will need to manually restart this level to continue. To do that enable the developer console and type "map d3_c17_01" to load into this map.

Left 4 Dead 2 - Valve

  • New mutation: Chainsaw Massacre
  • In Versus Special Infected bots spawn within 10 seconds of the Survivors leaving the safe room
  • Shortened spawn times for human Special Infected when the Infected team isn’t full. The time difference is added to the timer of the next bot in line to spawn
  • Exposed client console variable cl_viewmodelfovsurvivor to let players adjust their viewmodel FOV
  • To use this type cl_viewmodelfovsurvivor ## in the console. ## can be any number from 0-128 the default is 51

Supreme Commander 2 - Valve
Updates to Supreme Commander 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Improvements
  • Skirmish Save/Load. Skirmishes can now be saved in game using the Menu > Save Game Function. Skirmish saves can be loaded while in a skirmish game or from the main menu under Skirmish > Load Saved Game.
  • Players who have been eliminated in a skirmish or multiplayer game, but have remaining allies that are all AI, will be set as an observer will full map view, and may exit normally at their discretion.
  • AI Engineers and Land Scout platoons will now execute optimized pathing (performance improvement).
  • A user friendly version number will now be shown at the top of replay files. Replays that do not have the matching version number of the build will generate a “failed to load” message.
  • The default folder for save games, replays, screenshots and log files has been updated to \My Documents\My Games\Square Enix\Supreme Commander 2\.
  • Added redundant checking on games returned by Steam in matchmaking. This check ensures that the game fits within the filters specified for Steam. Previously old data could be called when rapidly narrowing a search.
  • Illuminate Bodaboom aura range now displays as a weapon range.

Fixes:
  • Fixed condition where the first player leaving a multiplayer game would stop automated replay recording.
  • Further refinement of search filtering for ranked. It was possible that someone could join a ranked game because they met the criteria when they initiated the search, but then narrowed their search and no longer met that criteria. We now check for this case and reject the connection.
  • Fix for most common case of players getting in an unable to join state when closing a multiplayer game from a lobby.
  • Artillery Weapon Range boost will now correctly affect Long Range Artillery, increasing its range.
  • Fix for AI violation of Research build condition.
  • Fix for AI not building enough research stations.
  • Fix for AI not building enough factories late game.
  • Fix for Naval AI not building a Naval factory at all, and for secondary condition of not building them outside its starting base location.
  • Fix for uncommon case of units not doing anything when running away.
  • Fix for AI Land platoons not running away.
  • Fix for AI not properly utilizing the Noah Unit Cannon and Carriers for building.
  • Fix for Defensive builders going to the wrong task state when they fail to find a build position.

Balance and Tuning:
  • Engineers will no longer circumvent assist mitigation when ordered to assist open ground.
  • AI has improved seeking/hunting capability against hidden commanders.
  • AI will only build Artillery/TML in their base if they have enemy structures in range.
  • AI will build more generators after they have a Mass Converter (or the research for the Cybrans).
  • AI will normally only build shields in their bases when there are structures there to protect.
  • AI will not build excess mass extractors.
  • Illuminate ACU Energy Income Boost research decreased to +200%, was +300%. Decreasing Mass Income Boost to+250%, was +400.
  • Decreased Rate of Fire on Illuminate flares by 33%.
  • Added a 25 second rebuild time when the Proto-Brain is destroyed. Added a Cybran Proto-Brain crash damage of 2000.
  • Increased minimum radius on Long Range Artillery to 150, was 50.

Known Issues:
  • Replays cannot be created from a game that has been loaded from a Skirmish save, the UI does not currently reflect this. Although it appears to save, it does not, and the “Replay LastGame” feature will actually play the last valid replay.

Stargate Resistance - Valve
Updates to Stargate Resistance have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Newness:
-The login screen now has Stargate themed music, enjoy!

Assists:
-Assist points now also account for player suicides. (No more grenading yourself to death or running into the Stargate for safety!)

UI:
-Chat is now colorized. (SL Global = Goldenrod, SL Team = Brown, SGC Global = Blue, SGC Team = Green)
-The escape menu now slides up and down when opening / closing the menu.
-You can now see the name of the player you are spectating.
-All cooldown / reload times are now displayed by the weapon icons on the UI.

Weapons:
-Commandos now only have 1 claymore but it will reload in 15 seconds upon detonation.
-Soldiers now only have 2 smoke grenades but each one will reload 30 seconds after throwing them.
-Jaffa now only have 2 shock grenades but each one will reload 30 seconds after throwing them.
-Scientist beacons that get destroyed now have a cooldown timer of 5 seconds before they can be placed again. (individually)
-Smoke trails have been added to the sniper rifle's tracer fire. (Time to find some new hiding spots)


Bug Fixes:
-The vocal emotes for medic (v1 by default) should now bring up the green arrow properly.
-Players will now accrue the correct number of points for capturing a capture point. (3)
-Changing key bindings for weapon controls will no longer effect vocal emote bindings.
-Taking high resolution screenshots (f11, f12) will now turn off the HUD to avoid displaying the HUD multiple times on the images
-The login screen UI should now have a visible cursor.
-Players should no longer be able to spawn under the world.
-Fixed a bug which allowed some players to be visual imposters of another class on respawn.

Achievements:
-Trading spaces was previously bugged and giving it to players who were not swapping places. This issue has been corrected and should be more difficult to obtain now.

Earth:
-Performance enhancements have been made to the SGC map.
-Collision has been added to prevent wall glitching in certain areas.

Leonops:
-The objective screen now correctly displays the Leonops map.
-The forcefields on TDM will no longer kill players who only touch them but will kill players who attempt to bypass them.
-The forcefields stop most forms of splash damage now.
-Ring transporters will now allow players to move around and still be teleported, this includes items like the beacons and claymores.
-The music slider will now adjust the in game music on Leonops.
-Players who die during the white screen effect of the ring transport will now have their white screen fade down upon respawning.
-Grenade launcher projectiles can no longer move through forcefields.

Server Lists:
-Servers will now more accurately display the current player counts before joining them.

Piramess:
-A few hedges have had some collision work on them to prevent players from getting stuck.
-A few meshes have been moved slightly to decrease gaps between walkways.

Weapons:
-Fixed a bug which allowed players to occasionally spawn without weaponry.
-Players will no longer be able to stick weapons through any object in game (minus players and spawned objects) and fire. A red "X" will appear over the reticule indicating the shot is not available. Removing the weapon from the object will remove the red X and allow the player to fire normally.
-The Goa'uld shield more accurately displays when it is off to better inform players when a Goa'uld player is vulnerable to weapons fire.
-Claymores will now detonate on the commando respawning.
-"Random" tracer fire from the origin should no longer occur.
