This week on Radio we're featuring some songs from Canada's "Staggered Crossing" (or StagX as Canadians in the know call them). StagX is a group of high school friends who've been together for over a decade now, and they've recently formed their own record label.
I had a hard time figuring out which tracks from their eclectic album "Burgundy and Blue" to include to give you a good sampling of their sound!
The first song "Burgundy and Blue" is a blend of some ambient electro-pop mixed in with some drums and vocals.
"Nuclear Winter" begins with a light, almost folk-pop feeling and ends with a Collective Soul-esque rock section.
"Under Circumstances like these" has a country-folk feel to it, and "My Disease" has a bit of a Tom Petty thing going on.
Lastly, "Save me Tonight" is a ballad to set you back down closer to ambient-land where we began.
I was liking the "chill out" sound effects for these. Enjoy!

For the last couple of years in the run up to the release of the new Football Manager, we've done blogs which have shown off both the already announced, and some unannounced, new features.
Well, this year we are delighted to be able to announce that we've partnered up with the Daily Mirror and Daily Record and their new football website, www.mirrorfootball.co.uk to be able to provide a unique insight into Football Manager 2010 with blogs most days between now and the release of the demo of Football Manager 2010, which will, as always, be a couple of weeks before the game is released.
MirrorFootball will also be the exclusive host of what we call the "vanilla" version of the demo of the game, which will be English language only and feature the UK leagues. We will provide the multi-language version with more leagues from here.
While you're there it's also well worth looking around Mirror Football too - it's a really good site and a great place for footy interviews, news and gossip.
We hope you enjoy the blogs, and we look forward to revealing lots of info on FM2010 over the coming weeks.
In this week's Nuclear Dawn blog post, you get to learn about InterWave's phylosophy about disappearing acts, and the development team shows us an exclusive animation taken from the game's RTS structures. It's looking quite good, and we can't wait to see it ingame!

As with the first Left 4 Dead game, most of the TF2 team has moved over to help out Left 4 Dead 2 get through its final shipping steps. This time around, though, we've improved our process a little to ensure we can keep some people on TF2, enabling us to continue doing TF2 updates. We've been a bit slow on updating here, and there's plenty of stuff to talk about, so we might as well jump right in.
