Knights, you may have noticed we had a bit of a cold snap recently. The temperature got low enough that we all bundled up and threw snowballs at each other, but not enough to inconvenience anyone. We count that as a win!

However, the cold we experience may not always be the type that simply makes you reach for a warm, spicy beverage. In fact, it may cause your warm, spicy beverage to freeze and shatter on the ground. Best to be prepared.

To that end, Spiral HQ has embarked upon OPERATION GELID. An assortment of items are available to you, including the following:

- Glacial armor and helms
- Glacial accessories

These items look frozen solid on the outside--for camo reasons, and also because it looks formidable--and they're mighty toasty on the inside. Grinchlin Assault Prestige Mission

The Grinchlins have vowed to destroy Impostoclaus and steal all his presents! Spiral HQ has located the Grinchlin base of operations on Mount Krampus and tasked you with putting an end to their humbug. This faction of Gremlins is very stingy and will not drop loot during battle. Instead, their treasure is stored in shelters throughout the stronghold. Face a choice at each shelter - collect the loot and leave the mountain, or leave the treasure and climb further toward the summit! Collect special materials from Mount Krampus to craft 5* Grinchlin reskinned weapons:

- Deadly Candy Poker
- Nog Blaster
- Jack Froster
- Scalding Hot Cocoa
- Humbug Hazer

Can you make it all the way to the summit? If so, you have a chance to win Golden or Silver Solstice Rings. These 4* trinkets protect against fire and freeze with a +1 health bonus. Leave them as-is, or combine them to craft a 5* Grand Solstice Ring trinket!

And remember, don't eat the Grinchlin Snowballs. Those are for...well, you'll figure it out.

Those Grinchlins just won't quit. As with last year, they aim to ruin Winterfest for everyone, and they're making a pretty strong showing. Impostoclaus wants YOU to assist him by doing the Save Winterfest prestige mission!

Handgun Mechanic and Balance Changes:
A number of Handguns have had their mechanics changed in order to better balance all the gun lines.

All Handguns
- Increased movement speed while firing and charging
- Increased reloading movement speed
- Reduced cooldown animations for all guns that stop movement

Magnus Line
- Charge attack now pierces through monsters
- Charge attack bullet speed slightly decreased
- Charge attack no longer prones the wielder

Autogun Line
- Decreased windup time for attack
- Increased range and bullet speed

Antigua Line
- Changed all family damage bonuses to ‘High’
- Increased polygon count for all models

Polaris Line
- Increased bullet speed
- Reduced the damage for all versions

Catalyzer Line
- Normal attacks now cling to mobs and charge shots detonate them
- Charge shot has an aura around it that activates any catalyzer orbitals within it

Misc Changes
Stun Gun - Increased stun chance slightly
Super Stun Gun - Added stun chance to regular attacks
Frost Gun - Increased freeze chance
Zapper - Added shock chance to regular attacks
Pepperbox - Increased damage slightly
Fiery Pepperbox - Increased damage slightly and added fire chance to regular attacks
Volcanic Pepperbox - Increased damage slightly and added fire chance to regular attacks
Plague Needle - Increased damage slightly and increased poison chance on charge attack

Bug Fixes:
Kilowatt Pulsar, Radiant Pulsar, Polaris - Tooltip display corrected to show proper damage
Firotech Alchemer MKII - Tooltip display corrected to show status effect
Shadow Driver - Tooltip display corrected to show proper damage
Needle Shot - Model now displays correct texture

NOTE: For the rest of December, the Prize Wheel in the Clockworks will have an increased chance to give out materials for gun recipes. You can get the recipes themselves from Basil.
