All the models of Solntsevo depot are ready and implemented into the game engine. On the screenshots below you can see how it looks in Editor.

Here's what we changed:
  • Added auto-informer routes to Govorovo and Solntsevo and edited auto-informer to Ramenki. Now you will periodically hear a message about train's destination.
  • Fixed a bug causing the train to glow inside.
  • Fixed passengers' animations. Their animations should no longer freeze and they shouldn't stand in T-Pose at spawn.
  • Fixed passengers' LODs.
  • Adjusted side camera, image from which is shown on the monitor in cabin.
  • Adjusted lamps' position.
  • Now if time of arrival at of AI train is the same as player's, AI train gets deleted.
  • Fixed a problem when AI train could arrive at the station without opening doors.
  • Added a system which randomizes weather on Mitchurinskiy Prospect. Day/night cycle is synchronized with in-game clock. The same system will be used in depot.
The depot is still in development.

We noticed that a minor bug with scrolling the auto-informer screen can occur, we're working on fixing it.

While we're working on fixing AI-related bugs and on other improvements (by the way, a minor update will be ready soon), our modeller is working hard on depot.



Modelling depot is a hard work. Also, depot's surroundings are in progress, as well as ALS-ARS system and day/night cycle.



We're not ready to announce the release date yet.

A small fix is now available.
  • Fixed some switch arrows on CSKA and Petrovskiy Park
  • Fixed a hole in the ceiling of Horoshevskaya
  • Fixed collision in the dead end of Govorovo, now it's impossible to fall through the tunnel.

Don’t miss the last sale before release of the big update for Metro Simulator 2019 which will raise the price! Today we implemented dynamic map loading, so that the game won’t utilize more than 3GB of RAM.

KishMish Games wishes you happy New Year and Merry Christmas!
This year has been very interesting for us. There were lots of important updates, releases, conferences.
Here are the most important events in chronological order:

1) Metro Simulator 2019 released in Early Access.
Alpha was finally released in Early Access, despise many technical issues (the main reason here is big map). We had some concerns as the genre is quite rare because there aren't so many Metro fans. We're grateful to our community for supporting us. We couldn't do it without you.
Unfortunately, the big update featuring AI-controlled trains, passenger mode and map expansion (8 more stations) is being delayed. We aren't ready to announce the exact release date, but it's almost ready. There aren't many people working on the game, but they love what they are doing. Now we have precisely recreated Metro line with all the slopes and turns. When we drove from Rasskazovka to Ramenki, it took us 20 minutes, the exact same time it should take in reality!



2) Bus World announcement
We've had this idea for a long time, but we had to get Bus Driver Simulator into good state.
The main difference is an idea to combine a bus simulator with difficult conditions such as disasters, off-road driving, breakdowns etc. There will be more scenarios with various conditions. But it doesn't mean that there will be no Free Mode.
We already have some experience in recreating real places, and now we're planning our biggest map - Chernobyl.
We are going to make more posts about Bus World in 2020.

3) Bus Driver Simulator 2019 released
Finally, after 3 years of development, Bus Driver Simulator 2019 was released!
This project has been very important for us. But we're still planning to support it after release. An update featuring winter mode was released recently. Also, an update which will allow you to create custom routes, is planned for the beginning of 2020.



This year has been very productive. We've done a lot of things, but there's even more to be done in the next year.

Finally, we want to thank you, our players for supporting us, proposing new ides, sharing your minds and expectations. We hope that this year will bring your best dreams to life.

As we said in our previous post, the game is stepping into Beta stage of development with the next update. You will be able to see it not only in size of the map, but also in overall game quality. We are certain that visual perception of the game plays huge role in overall experience, and there were some graphical issues in Alpha version. So, we are going to focus on polishing the graphics on Beta stage.

At the moment, the main part of upcoming update featuring AI-driven trains and map extension is done, but we still have something to work on.
Here’s what’s ready at the moment:
  • 6 new stations out of 8 (two others need to be textured).
  • All the tunnels and dead ends from Ramenki to Rasskazovka and Savelovskaya.
  • Objects in tunnels for these parts.
  • AI which will drive trains and possibility to be a passenger - almost done.
  • Depot (partially modeled).

Still has to be done:
  • Traffic lights on new parts of the map.
  • Passengers and lighting on the new stations.
  • Trajectories for trains (we made it apart from tunnels themselves).
  • Test and fix AI-related bugs.
  • Make new Scenarios for extended map and make some corrections for old ones.
  • Finish depot. We’ll share screenshots once it’s done.
  • Add sky and lighting for parts where it’s visible. This is depot and Mitchurinskiy Prospect. There will be day-night cycle according to the in-game time.
  • Dynamically load and unload certain parts of the map. Map has expanded and now it’s important to implement this in order not to overload RAM.
  • Other minor tasks.
As you can see, there’s still a lot to do, but we’re still working on the project with the same tempo as before. After this update, the game will move to Beta Stage (it’s Alpha now).

The update featuring AI-driven trains and possibility to be a passenger is delayed till November, 2019. We are still actively working on it, but we need a little bit more time to polish it.
