We’ve received a lot of submissions! It was so hard for us to narrow it down to just 4, to be quite frank.

Hi there!

The celebration week for Haven has now come to an end. We’re so grateful and humbled to be part of an amazing community such as this one. We hope you enjoyed the events and surprises this week as much as we did!

It was a week of many highlights for us. We are so proud that Haven was awarded the Best Indie Game & Best Characters award at the Pégases ceremony.

We were also extremely happy to have had the chance to produce Danger unique virtual concert and offer it for free to everyone. The virtual concert, entirely imagined and created by Danger, featured music from Haven and Furi's soundtracks and from his album Origins. You can rewatch it here.

Simon “Hutt” Trousselier, the game Art Director and Concept Artist drew live an environment for Haven. The replay is available on our youtube channel.



Danger, the composer of Haven Original Soundtrack and Emeric Thoa and Audrey Leprince our studio co-founders also participated in some Ask Me Anything on our Discord server, you can still read them!

We are celebrating Haven’s amazing community this week. You can see all the program here.

Today Danger, musician, designer, gamer, video maker, visual artist… and also the composer of Haven Original Soundtrack and of some very precious tracks on Furi Original Soundtrack will answer your questions during a Ask me Anything session. You can also read the special interview we made on this occasion!

The AMA will take place on our Discord Server Sunday, March 21st, from 17h to 18h CET / 9 to 10 AM PT.



It’s a unique opportunity to talk with an artist as secretive as Danger. Navigating between the world of music and the world of graphic design and video games he has kept an anonymous stage persona since the start of his career and never revealing much about his identity. His dark and mysterious universe contributes to the spectacular nature of his music. Listen his albums “太鼓” and “Origins” and read this interview of him here.

If you want to ask how different it is to create an album or a game soundtrack, ask him more about the virtual concert from yesterday, or what are his inspirations or more, do not miss the event!

Hello everyone,

At a time when everyone has been deprived way too long of the energy of concerts and musical events, we have teamed up with Danger and G4F Records to propose a free virtual concert to celebrate music and connect game and music fans around the world.

The unique virtual concert, entirely designed by artist and musician Danger will last about 15 minutes and feature tracks from The Game Baker’s games Haven and Furi original soundtracks as well as from the Origins album, around a virtual stage set in the artist's mysterious universe.

This is a tribute to all the video game characters whom I grew up with. Haven characters have welcomed me into their world, now it is my turn to welcome them into mine...” says Danger.

The concert will take place Saturday, March 20th at 23h CET / 3PM PT and will be hosted on partner Twitch channels. You will find the list of channels here: http://thegamebakers.com/danger/.

This is day 5 of our Haven Community Week. Until Sunday, we are celebrating Haven’s amazing community through special events and surprises. You can read all the details here.

Simon "Hutt" Troussellier was Art Director and Concept Artist on Haven. In particular, he created many of the environments you explore in the game, and gave a lot of personality to Source. He loves cables, ruins and pink and blue colors.



For one hour, you will be able to see him drawing live an environment from Haven, while listening to Haven soundtrack by Danger.

The livestream will start at 22h CET / 4 PM PT today and will last for one hour on Twitch, YouTube and Steam.

We are celebrating Haven’s amazing community with a Community Week this week. You can read all the details about it here

Emeric Thoa, Creative Director and The Game Bakers co-founder, took care of a lot of things on Haven. He was also the Producer and Game Designer on the game.

Audrey Leprince, is the other co-founder of The Game Bakers, and she took care of the executive production as well as the publishing of the game.

The Q&A will take place on our Discord Server Thursday March 18th 2021, from 6 PM CEST to 7 PM CEST (10 AM PT to 11 AM PT).

We are so proud that Haven won Best Indie Game and Best Character at the Pegases2021 Awards! What a recognition! Thank you everyone and a HUGE thank you to our awesome team for their amazing work.




Haven was nominated for 6 awards at the Pégases Awards ceremony. In a similar manner to the Cesars for the French movie industry, or the BAFTA in the United Kingdom, 1500 members of the French game industry have voted to honour the best games created in 2020, from France (with a special category for international games). The winners are presented in a 1h30 ceremony streamed live on Steam. The ceremony is in French with English subtitles.

Haven, which was the most nominated game, was in competition for:

Since the announcement of Haven and even more since the game launch, we have received a lot of amazing fan art of Yu & Kay (and also Oink, who is possibly the real hero of the game).

Between March 15th and 21st, we are celebrating Haven's amazing community. You can see all the details of our celebration week here and we are running a fan art contest with the theme “Dinner is ready!”.

The fan art can take the shape of your choice (drawing, illustration, sculpture, collage, installation...) but has to be created especially for the contest. You have to be the original author of it. The contest runs for two weeks, until Monday 29th March at 23:59 PM CET / 03:59 PM PT.

To participate, please send your fan art, your nickname, your social media profile, your physical address and the name of your artwork to fanartcontest@thegamebakers.com. Don't hesitate to share it also on social media with #havenfanartcontest or in our community hub here! Please note that you have to send us an email to participate, posting only on social media doesn't count.

Here are the prizes for the winners:

Since the launch of Haven, we have been amazed by the reception of Haven by you, our fantastic community. We've received so much love, that we've decided to give a little bit back. We've organized a week of celebration, with some surprises related to Haven but also celebrating your creations.

We’re releasing today a new patch with some minor feature additions and improvements and a few bug fixes. As always, we appreciate your feedback, your help reporting those issues and your patience as we fix them.

Feature addition and improvement:
- keyboard remapping: added the possibility to rebind actions to the arrow keys.
- improved resolution options for ultrawide monitors.
- the ability to flowburst doesn't consume flow anymore.
- added a generic animation when using the shower after exhausting every dialog.
- improved the navigation and animations for several creatures.
- improved characters' animations during combat and roaming.
- reduced the save file size.
- added SFX when interacting with a Nokk.

Bug fixes:
- removed the stuttering while playing with a high FPS.
- added corrupted save files management.
- fixed a bug where players could be stuck in an islet after using Birble to teleport during the throw & catch tutorial.
- fixed a bug where players couldn't leave the islet after getting back Kay's pants if going too fast onto the next islet while the characters talk about it.
- fixed a bug where players could miss a mandatory cutscene before the end.
- fixed a bug where players could miss the event to upgrade the gloves after repairing the last ship part.
- fixed a bug where the game appears blocked due to the quick advance feature tutorial's popup being hidden by a fading.
