Today we fixed a critical bug surrounding embarkment and disembarkment of units. The bug allowed crafty Generals to skip the intended timer for the action. Now everything works as intended, making naval landing forces as vulnerable as they should be during the critical phases of an invasion.

Further we cleaned up the weekly and monthly player rankings. A bug snuck in that made everyone show up with the same rank. Now your actual, current rank will be displayed next to your name. We also cleaned up faulty translations in some of the Hero descriptions, and made sure that the progress bars in the main menu look pretty again.

The first release of 2025 focuses on bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements to enhance your gameplay experience, especially for those commanding Heroes in the thick of battle. Here's what's been improved:

• Resolved Aircraft Engagement Issues: Fixed a bug where planes couldn't take off from airfields to engage enemy patrols or would return to an airfield instead of engaging an enemy plane when directed by the player. Aerial skirmishes should now unfold as intended.
• Hero Redeployment Fixed: Addressed an issue that sometimes prevented Heroes from being redeployed after being defeated in a match, even after their recovery time had ended.
• Hero Limit Adjustments: Corrected inconsistencies in Hero deployment limits across maps. All non-tutorial maps now support up to 5 Heroes, while tutorial maps are limited to 4 Heroes.
• Improved Translations for Heroes: Implemented missing translations that previously caused a mix of English and server-specific languages to appear in Hero-related text.
• Standardized Hero Buff Descriptions: Streamlined the terminology in Hero buff descriptions. All buffs now clearly specify "Attack" or "Defense" to avoid confusion caused by inconsistent terms like "Offensive" and "Defensive".

These fixes aim to ensure smoother gameplay and a more consistent experience for all Commanders. Thank you for your continued feedback and support!

To sharpen battlefield tactics and balance gameplay, we’ve also introduced a new limit to the number of Heroes you can deploy per map. Up to 5 Heroes at a time can be used in any map, so plan your strategy carefully to ensure the most impactful Heroes are leading your forces. In addition to this, we’ve also fixed a bug where patrolling air units incorrectly applied 100% morale damage to provinces every damage tick. Patrol damage is now correctly applied at 25%, ensuring fair and consistent gameplay.
