Attention Generals!

The game mechanics update and all the balancing changes are live! Thanks to the beta testers and their profound feedback, it was made possible for these changes to match your preferences as closely as possible. The update brings easier and more understandable gameplay which will enhance your game experience. Check the full list of game mechanics changes here.

That’s not it for today! In the first release of this year, we introduce a new in-game language, many bug fixes, and UI changes. We are happy to announce that Indonesian is now available in Supremacy 1914! If you want to play in Indonesian, simply choose the Indonesian flag in the language bar.

We also made it much simpler to track unit hitpoints by reworking the health bar. You can now clearly see the amount of hitpoints left, as the health bar is showing the statistics correctly.

Finally, we fixed the ‘spectate’ button which didn’t work for quite a while. If you can’t or don’t want to join the match, you can watch it in spectator mode.

In this event you will not know friends nor family: In a 100p map with the ‘anonymous round’ feature enabled and no coalitions you will be pitted against 99 other players in a struggle for survival.

The event maps will start immediately after their creation with random country selection enabled and will run at normal speed. Players are flagged as inactive after 2 days. Please note that this event will also have a fixed runtime of 6 weeks: If no winner is determined before time is up, the player with the highest total of victory points wins and receives a generous gold prize.

This year was exceptionally special to Supremacy 1914. We hit some records and introduced important changes to your beloved strategy game:

• We prepared a great deal of game mechanics updates. We revised all the difficulties and confusing situations for players and will make the game easier to understand and play very soon.
• This year Supremacy 1914 hit 10,000,000 registered players.
• Supremacy 1914 became available in Czech and Japanese; Indonesian was introduced on Beta.
• The new map "Crossroads of History" was introduced featuring the events of the late WW1 period, and "Shattered America" was added as a new tutorial map.
• We launched the official Supremacy 1914 Merch store! Gear up with quality products with official Supremacy 1914 designs.
• Tons of bugs were fixed to improve your game experience.

Pack your warmest clothes and bring your toughest men! In this exclusive event map wealthy industrialists are exploiting the resources of Antarctica and trying to establish their own state. As sovereign of your empire you cannot allow that.

Your mission: Conquer and hold two of three Control Points for four ingame days to expel the competitors and claim Antarctica’s treasures (50,000 Goldmark)! This exclusive map is only available for joining during the sign-up period. Apart from the Dominion mode victory conditions it features special resource hotspots on the map for which players can compete.

What will be your strategy? Will you secure the Control Points for an early victory or will you fight for the valuable resource hotspots to sustain your army? Decide wisely and strike fast - before the cold strikes back!

In this update we made it much simpler to tackle minimum requirements and prerequisites in the production flow. You don’t need to open any other windows anymore, everything can be done in one window.

We also improved visualization of army morale and hitpoints in the army bar as well as enhanced visibility of minimum requirements for construction.

Last but not least, we made your own chat messages look more distinguishable and fixed some bugs with mixed translations.
